Relief Pay a) When an employee is temporarily transferred to a higher-rated classification for more than one (1) hour, they shall be paid the higher rate nearest their present classification rate retroactive to the first hour worked in such higher classification. b) Where the Employer temporarily assigns an employee to carry out the assigned responsibilities of a classification outside the Bargaining Unit for a period in excess of one (1) hour, the employee shall receive an allowance of $3.00 for each shift from the time of the assignment.
Relief PayWhen an employee is assigned to relieve in a position of higher wages, within the Bargaining Unit for more than four (4) consecutive working hours, or three and one-half (3 ½) consecutive working hours for Schedule “A” employees, such employee shall receive the higher rate in the relief position that is closest to his present rate. The relief rate will be retro-active to the first hour.
Relief PayWhen an employee relieves in or performs the duty of an existing higher paying position, the employees shall receive the higher rate of pay of the position occupied.
Relief PayAn employee who is assigned to perform the major duties and responsibilities of a higher rated position in the bargaining unit for a period of one hour or more shall be paid the rate that applies to the higher position for the time spent in the position. The higher rated pay (relief pay) is processed when the employee chooses to be paid. If the employee chooses to bank the time, it will be paid at the prevailing rate.
Relief Pay. 22.01 When an employee is assigned to perform the duties of a higher classification (Union or Management position) for a period of four (4) hours or more, he/she shall receive seven percent (7%) of his/her current rate. 22.02 When an employee is assigned to perform the duties of a higher classification (Union or Management position) for a period of four (4) hours or more, he/she shall receive seven percent (7%) and ten percent (10%) when relieving in a Director position of his/her current rate. This article does not apply to Customer Service Representatives on the EBT Desk.
Relief Pay. (a) When an employee is assigned by the Employer to a higher rate Bargaining Unit position for three (3) consecutive shifts or more, they shall be paid the job rate for the full period of shift. (b) When an employee is assigned by the Employer to perform the duties of a supervisory or managerial position outside the Bargaining Unit, for five (5) consecutive shifts or more, they shall be paid an additional two dollars ($2.00) per hour for the full period of the time worked in the Relief position.
Relief Pay. (a) Lead Hand rate will be paid to an employee who has been assigned by the Corporation having charge of a crew consisting of three (3) or more workers and the Lead Hand is considered to be one of those workers. (b) When any employee covered under this Agreement is required to fill a non-union supervisory position on a temporary basis due to an employee being sick or on vacation, etc., the employee filling his job shall be paid 105% of the Lead Hand Rate.
Relief PayIn the event a department head covered by this Agreement is on an approved written leave of absence, other than vacation, in excess of one (1) week and a clerk is assigned to assume the responsibility and accountability of the department head’s job, such person shall be paid the department head’s basic straight-time rate of pay. It is understood that "accountability" as used herein means that management of a department is subject to the test of failure to perform work as required.

Relief Managers in all stores, while serving during xxxx­ tions or sickness for one day or over shall receive a pro­ rated amount above their regular five (5) day week base pay as follows: Store Volume: Relief Managers shall be compensated for overtime work by time and one-half their regular hourly rate for hours worked in excess of eight (8) hours per day or forty (40) hours per week, but not both. In no instances shall Relief Managers or Department Heads receive more salary than the person being relieved. Excluded is the overtime amount. In stores over $20,000.00 based on the previous figures, where there is an employee who assumes Assistant Manager’s responsibilities when an Assistant Manager is absent or acting as Manager, this person shall receive $5.00 weekly as additional compensation. B. Relief Department Heads while serving during vacations or sickness for one day or more shall receive a pro-rated amount above their regular five (5) day week base pay as follows:
Relief Pay. Employees selected to provide relief for Department Managers or Assistant Store Managers shall receive a premium of fifty ($0.50) cents per hour for all hours worked in relief, provided they work a minimum of three (3) or more consecutive shifts in relief. Premium pay shall not be added to the employee's rate of pay for the purpose of computing overtime pay.
