Increments, where applicable, will normally be automatic, but an increment will be delayed by the length of a leave of absence without pay in accordance with Article C 5.01. The increment delay will equal the number of months of a leave of absence without pay or session out which exceeds three (3) months. Only a leave of absence without pay exceeding three (3) months will cause a delay in an increment. A new step date will be established based on the number of months delayed. All employees shall receive their pay through direct deposit into their bank account. The Employer shall not make deductions from the salary unless authorized by statute, court order, arbitration order, by this Agreement or by agreement between Employer and employee.
