Shared Teachers. 1. The Superintendent shall designate a "home school" for all shared teachers, prior to the commencement of the school year. The home school shall be that location in which the teacher is assigned for the majority of the school day. The official evaluator of shared teachers shall be the administrator so charged at the home school. However, because of the unique nature of shared teacher's status, this evaluation is expected to reflect the evaluations done by administrators at other work sites.
Shared Teachers. (a) Teachers shared between various levels of the academic program or between buildings will have a daily planning period of at least forty-eight (48) minutes in length and adequate passing time between duty stations.
Shared Teachers. 1. Teachers shall be provided fifteen (15) minutes of travel time between buildings when they have a schedule that has back-to-back classes.
Shared Teachers. Employees will be assessed at their primary work site with additional evaluation support/feedback from the secondary administrator. If an employee is shared equally between two buildings, the employee may choose the school he/she wishes to be assessed at first and responsibility for assessment will rotate between administration of the two school sites.
Shared Teachers. Shared teachers are expected to perform their duties in an acceptable manner in all of their assigned buildings. Each shared teacher will be evaluated by a qualified evaluator. If the evaluations are not conducted by the teacher's supervisor, separate appraisals including conferences and reports will be done by the administrator in charge of each building to which the teacher is assigned. However, by agreement among the teacher, principal(s), and/or supervisor(s) involved, the number of separate appraisals may be fewer.
Shared Teachers. Teachers who serve in more than one building will be evaluated according to the schedule in the building in which they are scheduled for a major part of their time or their assigned home base building. Administrators in other than the home base building or majority time building in which the evaluatee serves are encouraged to have input into the evaluation process.
Shared Teachers. 1. A shared teacher is defined as a teacher who teaches in more than one building per day.
Shared Teachers. A full time teacher who serves with a cooperative educational unit, who was previously, employed full time by the School District for ten consecutive years and who returns to half time or more employment with the School District shall be eligible for severance pay.
Shared Teachers. All fringe benefits, leaves of absence and coordinated responsibilities shall be in writing for shared teachers. These benefits should include, but not be limited to, insurance benefits and premiums, sick leave, seniority, and attendance at workshops, in-services, parent-teacher conferences and staff meetings.
