Social Media Marketing. Without limiting Affiliate’s other obligations under this Agreement, in relation to all marketing, communications and posts on or via social media platforms (such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and other channels approved by BlueBet) relating to BlueBet, Affiliate must: 7.1. clearly identify all such advertisements, posts and marketing communications as being advertisements. For example, Tweets on Twitter which relate to BlueBet should contain hashtags such as “#ad” or “#spon” at the end of the Tweet; 7.2. comply with the relevant social media platform’s guidelines and terms of use (including any terms regarding gambling advertising and marketing); 7.3. ensure that advertisements and marketing communications relating to BlueBet or gambling in general are not directed at persons under the age of 18 or persons known to be problem gamblers, and to the fullest extent possible, ensure that such communications and advertisements are not accessible by such persons; 7.4. ensure that all marketing communications and advertisements reference both BlueBet and Affiliate (in either the ad-copy/text or the image); 7.5. not hold itself out as BlueBet, or represent or imply that the communication or advertisement is published by or on behalf BlueBet; 7.6. make it clear in any communication by Affiliate to potential BlueBet customers that the communication is made without the knowledge or involvement of BlueBet and that any complaint that the recipient may wish to make should be addressed to Affiliate and not BlueBet; and 7.7. in accordance with BlueBet’s reasonable directions, include ‘Xxxxxx Responsibly’ (or such other responsible gambling message as reasonably requested by BlueBet) in connection with all marketing, communications and posts relating to BlueBet.

Social Media Marketing. Social Media and Web 2.0 are terms that describe internet-based technology communication tools with a focus on immediacy, interactivity, user participation and information sharing in multiple ways. Social Media refers to the following: Forums Weblogs (blogs, vlogs, microblogs, presence applications) Wikis Social Bookmarking Social Communication Sites Podcasts Photos Videos (video, vlogs, livecasting – streaming) Real-Time Web Communications (chat, chat rooms, video chat) It is the intent of this Contract to allow State Agencies to use existing and future Social Media technologies to provide information and interact with customers in Social Media venues in the performance of State business, within the framework deemed appropriate by the Governor’s Office Communications Team. Any Using Agency that will establish new Social Media venues on behalf of the State of Indiana shall coordinate the implementation of these new online venues with the Governor’s Office Communications Team. This coordination will ensure that the implementation of Social Media Venues is cohesive at the State level. The Contractor will adhere to the IOT Standards and policies, which include but may not be limited to the Social Media Policy Statement and Requirements The Using Agency will communicate only accurate and verifiable facts to the Contractor. The Contractor will only communicate accurate and verifiable facts – no unverifiable opinions. Non-Public or Confidential information will be protected and not disclosed via any Social Media outlet site. The Contractor, with Using Agency approval, will prepare and execute a Social Media launch for purposes of Marketing, Public Relations, communicating and advertising agency initiatives. Social Media includes, but is not limited to: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, Instagram, MySpace, Flickr, and Craigslist. If required by the Using Agency, the Contractor will provide a collection of tools and resources to create, manage, and measure Social Media marketing efforts and Social Media web-page solutions. If required by the Using Agency, the Contractor (with Using Agency approval) will be responsible for information updates and program promotions on Social Media sites based on the Using Agency’s project term, but not to exceed the term expiration of this contract.
