Station Maintenance. All employees covered by this Agreement will perform such ordinary and normal station maintenance as may be required by the Chief or supervisor at any portion of the building used solely by the Auburn Police Department. This may include, but not be limited to, shoveling or removing snow; changing light bulbs; moving furniture, etc. The Town shall supply all necessary equipment and supplies for performing station maintenance as defined in this Section.
Station Maintenance. The PTO’s Maintenance Practices shall, at a minimum, address the Maintenance of the following equipment and attributes of Stations: • Circuit Breakers • Insulators/Bushings/Arrestors • Transformers • Regulator • Disconnect Switches • Metering • Battery Systems • Reactive Devices • Relaying • Communication Facilities • Station Auxiliary Equipment • Direct Current Transmission Components • Structures/Foundations As may be appropriate for the specific equipment in and configurations of the PTO’s Stations under the ISO’s Operational Control, the PTO’s Maintenance Practices shall further detail various Maintenance activities for the attributes and potential conditions of the Stations including, but not limited to: • Visual Inspection of/for: fences and grounds, vegetation, clearances, tracking, abnormal heating, cracks/chips, noise, leaks, blown fuses, and bulging of equipment cases • Oil Containment • Insulation Mediums • Equipment Contacts • Mechanical Timing • Contamination Control • Testing and Calibration • Cooling Systems • Measuring Devices • Lubrication and Overhaul of Moving Parts
Station Maintenance. As may be appropriate for the specific Stations under the CAISO’s Operational Control, each PTO’s Maintenance Practices shall describe Maintenance activities for the various attributes listed below: Inspections, scheduled and unscheduled Battery systems Circuit breakers Direct Current transmission components Disconnect switches Perimeter fences and gates Station grounds Insulators/bushings/arrestors Reactive power components Protective relay systems Station Service equipment Structures/Foundations Transformers/regulators Vegetation Management
Station Maintenance. Members covered by this collective bargaining agreement shall not be required to perform building repairs beyond those that are part of routine maintenance.
Station Maintenance. 27.1 Members of the bargaining unit shall perform all firefighting duties required of them by their superior officers.
27.2 Except in case of emergency, impairing the ability of the Department to perform its primary function, members of the bargaining unit shall not be required to perform carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, roofing work or any other work normally performed by tradesmen.
27.3 Employees may volunteer to perform any of the work set forth in 27.2 above, as well as any other work not related to firefighting, in and about the stations but shall not be required to perform such work.
27.4 Normal day-to-day housekeeping may be required to be performed by all members of the bargaining unit.
Station Maintenance. 29.01 It is agreed that Bargaining Unit Employees shall not be required to undertake any duties which involves major station repairs, major renovations or major construction where other City Employees who normally perform that work are readily available.
Station Maintenance. Any station maintenance of significant size shall be contracted to the appropriate City department or outside contractor. Significant size represents any maintenance duties requiring greater than four hours for overall completion. Such duties may include, but are not limited to, painting, stucco work, construction or renovations. Projects will not be broken up to fit within the four hour time period. Further, any projects that require a building permit and/or an inspection shall be contracted out to the above stated agencies. Except as provided for herein, the City shall not contract out any Association work, including but not limited to Fire Fighting, EMS, Fire Prevention or any such work associated with the emergency readiness of the Fire Department as presently it exists. However, the City may, after all local sources have been utilized, contract out for EMS. The City will continue to assume the responsibility for the care and maintenance of vehicles assigned to chief officers and the fire prevention bureau. In addition, the City will continue the custodial care of the Fire Department staff offices as presently exists. The employees shall continue the care and maintenance of all other vehicles and quarters as presently exists. Any training or duties directly related to the fire department's emergency readiness shall preclude any station maintenance duties.
Station Maintenance. Section 9.21.1 Realizing that the Professional Firefighters’ duties are primarily prevention of fires, training, and responding to emergency calls, both parties recognize and agree that the Firefighter may be required during the normal work day to perform routine general maintenance and routine general refurbish duties pertaining to the firehouse facility and yard. It is the intent of management to be reasonable in its requirements pertaining to these incidental duties.
Section 9.21.2 The Labor-Management process will be utilized to discuss specific station maintenance assignments as they may arise.
Station Maintenance. 60.1: The Township agrees to supply and make available all materials required in the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of all fire houses. The Township further agrees to supply all items necessary to maintain satisfactory sanitary conditions of all quarters within all fire houses.
Station Maintenance. The Employer agrees to supply and make available materials required in the day-to-day cleaning of all facilities. The Employer furthermore agrees to supply items necessary to maintain satisfactory sanitary conditions of all quarters within all facilities. The Union agrees that employees are responsible for day-to-day cleaning of their facilities to maintain sanitary conditions. Repairs to, and/or replacement of, station equipment, furniture, mattresses, etc. will be addressed and remedied within a reasonable time frame from notification.
