Supervision and Independence Judgement and Problem Solving Knowledge and Skills. The employees in this level work under general supervision and are responsible and accountable for their own work which is performed within established routines, methods and procedures. The employee may be subject to progress checks which will be principally confined to establishing that satisfactory progress is being made, and has the knowledge and experience required to perform the duties with instructions and has the tasks reviewed on completion. Exercise judgement on work methods and task sequence with specified timeliness and standard practices and procedures. Will exercise some judgement over when to refer matters or seek assistance. Where the opportunity arises, will make suggestions and develop local job specific systems to assist in the completion of allocated tasks. Knowledge of Credit Union products and services, oral and written communication and cross selling skills should all be sound at this level. Typical Activities Branch Perform a range of more complex tasks than in level 2.1. Typical activities may include (a) accurate and speedy transaction processing, (b) processing Credit Union documentation in Membership, FTD, Bill Paying, Cuecard, Direct Entry applications, Payroll Deductions and Membership resignations, (c) member enquiry's/follow-up in the above areas (e.g.: bill paying arrears). Accounts Perform a range of more complex tasks than at level 2.1. Typical activities may include: (a) accurate and speedy transaction processing, (b) competently respond to enquiries from branch staff in matters relating to their specific job function, (c) perform reconciliation's of a more complex nature. Loans Administration Perform a range of more complex tasks than in level 2.1. Typical activities may include: (a) a basic knowledge of the individual areas within the Credit Application Processing System, with special knowledge of certain areas pertinent to tasks within role, (b) identify the various types of loan security and the documentation required to secure credit facilities, (c) a basic to intermediate knowledge of the Consumer Credit Code, Credit Union Code of Practice, the Lands Title Act, the Property Law Act and the Stamp Act relevant to their job role, (d) competently deal with Credit Union members enquiry's pertaining to their credit facility accounts, (e) competently deal with branch staff enquiry's pertaining to the employees particular area of expertise.
