General Eligibility Criteria. A teacher who received an evaluation rating of ineffective or improvement necessary in the prior school year is not eligible for any salary increase and remains at their prior year salary. $6,000 increase to the 2020-2021 base salary. This salary increase is based upon the following two factors: (1) the teacher receiving an effective or highly effective evaluation rating for the previous school year, which factor shall constitute $4,500 of the total salary increase, and (2) the teacher earning an additional year of experience (defined as having worked during the prior school year for a minimum of 60 days), which factor shall constitute $1,500 of the total salary increase. The increase in base salary attributable to the experience factor is less than 50% of the total base salary increase in accordance with Indiana law. The 2021-2022 Salary Range is $44,000 - $77,735 before base salary increases are applied. After the base salary increase, the salary range will be $49,000 - $83,735.

New hires hired in at BS-0 in the 2021-2022 school year, who were hired prior to the ratification of this contract will have their salary adjusted upward by $5,000. In addition, in the 2021-2022 school year, new hires, hired prior to the ratification of this contract, who had previous teaching experience may have their starting salary adjusted upward, at the discretion of the Superintendent, by $5,000. If an evaluation is not completed for a teacher who worked for at least 60 days than that teacher’s most recently completed evaluation will be used as a basis to receive that year’s negotiated salary increase.

Dual enrollment is an acceleration program that allows students in grades six (6) through 12 to take post-secondary coursework and simultaneously earn credit toward high school completion and college coursework. B. FIU agrees to permit eligible students enrolled in SBBC District 1. be enrolled in a course of study which will fulfill requirements for high school graduation; 2. have a 3.0 unweighted high school GPA; 3. standardized college placement tests indicating college readiness; 4. satisfy any course prerequisites; and, 5. meet any additional criteria set by FIU as the post-secondary institution, and as agreed upon in writing by both Parties. In order to continue in the program, students must maintain a 3.0 unweighted GPA in their high school academic work and earn a 3.0 or better in college-level work, as confirmed by their school guidance counselors. To ensure student readiness for post-secondary instruction, all students in grades six (6) through 12 must meet high school GPA and present standardized college placement tests indicating college readiness to be able to participate in dual enrollment at FIU. FIU may establish additional, initial student eligibility requirements to ensure student readiness; students, however, who have demonstrated the ability to master advanced courses can participate in dual enrollment courses. C. As approved in writing by parents, eligible sixth (6)-to-eighth (8) graders have the choice to come to FIU to take the dual enrollment class at FIU’s Xxxxxxx X. Maidique Campus or the Biscayne Bay Campus. These students are responsible for their transportation. In providing written consent of eligible sixth-to-eighth graders to participate in dual enrollment courses at FIU, parents acknowledge that FIU is an open campus and that FIU cannot be responsible for the supervision of these sixth (6)-to-eighth (8) grade students beyond the delivery of instruction in the classroom setting. While appropriate for college-level study, course materials and class discussions may reflect topics not typically included in sixth (6)-to- eighth (8) grade courses or high school courses, which some parents may consider advanced for minors. Courses will not be modified to accommodate variations in student age and/or maturity. 1. In order to be listed on the CaliforniaVolunteers website as a potential destination for monetary donations, organizations must meet all of the following requirements:  Provide proof of standing as a 501(c)(3) organization.  Identify the designated geographic service area and counties served for the purpose of receiving and distributing disaster donations and specify that service area/counties on its website.  Provide proof that appropriate fiscal controls and standards will be enforced in the management of the funds. An example of this is the most recent copy of an audit that complies with the Office of Management and Budget Circular A-133.  Ensure that disaster-donated funds will be used for meeting the community needs of the specific event.  Certify the organization has a general plan or strategy for the timely dispersal of disaster-related donations.  Certify the organization has a disaster plan/Continuity of Operations Plan to demonstrate that the organization will be able to carry out this function in their community after a disaster impacting the community.  Agree to have a website with a “web widget” that makes it easy for the donor to identify the disaster and provide the opportunity to donate within 24 hours of the disaster being proclaimed by the State or this Strategy being implemented by the Chief Service Officer or designee.  Immediately notify CaliforniaVolunteers in writing when the organization no longer meets the eligibility criteria or chooses not to serve as a Grantmaking Organization or a Direct Service Provider.
