UNIFORMS AND CLEANING. 34.1: The Employer shall continue furnishing uniforms, shoes and other wearing apparel as it has in the past. Each employee employed as a full-time detective sergeant shall receive an annual clothing allowance of six hundred fifty ($650) dollars to be paid as follows: Three hundred twenty-five dollars ($325) on the first payday in January of each year, and three hundred twenty-five dollars ($325) on first payday in July of each year.
UNIFORMS AND CLEANING. 37.1: The Employer shall continue furnishing uniforms, shoes and other wearing apparel as it has in the past. The employer will provide $50 annually for the purchase of footwear which, if not used each year, may accumulate up to a maximum of $200.
UNIFORMS AND CLEANING. 41.1: The Employer shall continue furnishing uniforms, shoes, and other wearing apparel as it has in the past. Uniforms shall be defined as Class A’s and other uniforms not suitable for every day wear.
UNIFORMS AND CLEANING. This dress and the cleaning thereof shall be the responsibility of the employee. The Employer shall make dry cleaning available to employees at its cost.
UNIFORMS AND CLEANING. The Employer agrees for the duration of this Agreement to continue the policies that existed immediately prior to the signing of this Agreement as in regards to furnishing of uniforms and cleaning thereof.
(a) The Employer shall furnish all leather goods which the Sheriff requires, except shoes, to all newly hired employees and shall replace present leather goods, except shoes, owned by current employees as the Sheriff deems necessary.
(b) The Employer shall furnish flashlights and batteries for each patrol car and the issuance and maintenance of these shall be controlled by policy established by the Sheriff.
(c) It is understood and agreed that some job assignments within the bargaining unit presently are plainclothes assignments. However, the Sheriff reserves the right to provide uniforms or plain clothes for these positions, or, in lieu of providing same, the Employer will pay each plainclothesman a clothing allowance of six hundred ($600.00) dollars per year.

UNIFORMS AND CLEANING. Section 1. Each uniformed member of the Police Department shall be entitled to an annual uniform allowance and an annual cleaning allowance. Said sum will be paid quarterly.
Section 2. Uniform Chan~es: A Committee consisting of two (2) members of the Union, and two (2) Command Officers shall be set up to decide on uniform changes. Any decision by this Committee will be subject to veto by the Police Chief, but the Union will have the opportunity to appeal his decision to the City Council.
Section 3. In the event the City or Department chooses to change the current uniform, the City will assume the full cost of the change. The change will not be charged to the Officers in any way.

UNIFORMS AND CLEANING. 8.1 The City will purchase and provide police officers with department issued hand guns, handcuffs, badges, duty gear, protective vests, all safety gear and uniforms. A uniform shall consist of three (3) pairs of pants, two (2) short sleeve shirts, two (2) long sleeve shirts, one (1) hat, one (1) jacket, one (1) pair of boots, one (1) ballistic vest (a.k.
a. body armor") and one (1) jumpsuit. These uniform items will become the property of the City and the City will have complete jurisdiction over this property with the authority to determine what to buy and when it is to be replaced. This equipment must be turned in before the final check is received upon termination or retirement from employment. Uniforms and selection of equipment shall be determined by the Chief of Police in consultation with employees.
8.2 Police officers will receive forty-five ($45.00) dollars per month uniform allowance for maintenance and cleaning of clothing used in connection with duties performed for the City. Uniforms shall be replaced by the Employer when they become worn out or unserviceable.
UNIFORMS AND CLEANING. A. The City will continue its present program of providing uniforms for those employees in the bargaining unit who are required to wear a uniform. The City will also provide a laundry service to clean and maintain the uniforms. Bargaining unit employees agree to wear the furnished uniform. Public Works Supervisor, Mechanic, all classes of Public Works Maintenance Workers and the Building Inspector shall receive one set of safety boots per year with the cost thereof not to exceed $200.00 per pair. Each employee shall provide the Finance Department a cash receipt for boot purchase. If an employee can show that safety boots are worn or damaged prior to the end of the year, the City may approve purchase of an additional set of workboots. This provision shall only apply where the wear and tear or damage to safety boots has occurred through the course of employment with the City.
