Unpaid Bereavement Leave. An employee may take unpaid bereavement leave by agreement with the employer.
Unpaid Bereavement Leave. Where an employee has exhausted bereavement leave entitlements, including accumulated leave entitlements, the employee is entitled to take unpaid bereavement leave. The employer and employee should agree on the length of the unpaid leave. In the absence of agreement, a full-time employee is entitled to take up to 3 days unpaid leave, provided the requirements of 30A.1.1
Unpaid Bereavement Leave. The Employer, at its sole discretion, may approve additional unpaid days than what is indicated above. Approval or denial of such leave request is not subject to the grievance procedure in this Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Unpaid Bereavement Leave. An employee may take unpaid bereavement leave by agreement with their manager. • Evidence of such death will be provided by the employee to the satisfaction of the employer, if so requested.
Unpaid Bereavement Leave. An employee may take unpaid bereavement leave by agreement with Australia Post. 20.3 Immediate family or household 20.3.1 Conditions of bereavement leave The entitlement to use bereavement leave is subject to the person being either: (a) a member of the employee’s immediate family; or (b) a member of the employee’s household. 20.3.2 Immediate family The term immediate family includes: (a) spouse (including a former spouse, a de facto spouse and a former de facto spouse) of the employee. A de facto spouse means a person of the opposite sex to the employee who lives with the employee as the husband or wife of that employee on a bona fide domestic basis; and (b) child or an adult child (including an adopted child, a stepchild or an ex nuptial child), parent, grandparent, grandchild or sibling of the employee or of the employee’s spouse. Unpaid Bereavement Leave. Unpaid bereavement leave in addition to paid bereavement leave may be requested. The Employer, at its sole discretion, may approve additional unpaid bereavement leave days. The Employer’s approval or denial for additional unpaid bereavement leave request is not subject to the grievance procedure in this Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Unpaid Bereavement Leave. 1. An employee who has suffered a death in his immediate family of a person other than those identified in Section A (2) above shall be entitled to an unpaid bereavement leave of up to three consecutive days including the day of the funeral, provided the employee attends and there is no adverse impact on operational requirements. Such leave shall not be unreasonably withheld by the Company.
Unpaid Bereavement Leave. An employee may take unpaid bereavement leave by agreement with the Council.
Unpaid Bereavement Leave. Additional unpaid leave of absence may be requested by the employee and is also subject to management approval.
Unpaid Bereavement Leave. An employee is entitled to use unpaid leave up to four days annually when a member of the employee’s immediate family or household in Australia dies/is seriously ill or, outside Australia, dies, if the employee has already used the entitlement under (a). An employee may take additional unpaid bereavement leave by agreement with the employer.
