Volunteer Program. Desert Springs Preparatory Elementary School is proud of its volunteer program and help our students receive from our volunteers. We need you! Your participation in the volunteer program means more individualized instruction can be given to each child. In addition, it provides an enriching and rewarding experience for you, the parent. Our front office handles all volunteer paperwork and the level of completion that is required for that parent/guardian to volunteer. Please visit the front office for paperwork.
Volunteer Program. I understand that the program will have competent adult supervision and appropriate measures will be made to minimize the risk of injury. I understand that my signature acknowledges that this applicant is in good health and gives my consent for Marin Municipal Water District to arrange for emergency medical care and/or treatment that may be necessary for my child. I agree to hold harmless, indemnity and defend MMWD its officers, agents and employees from any and all liability arising out of or as a result of my son/daughter’s participation in the MMWD Volunteer Program.
Volunteer Program. New American Pathways’ Volunteer Program includes, but is not limited to, providing administrative support, after-school tutoring, apartment set-up, sorting donations, civics tutoring, assisting clients in shopping from New American Pathways’ clothing closet, employment coaching, family support, front office greeting, language interpretation, XXXXX mentoring, and providing transportation to clients. I will follow all New American Pathways procedures and rules for volunteers, including safety procedures, and will follow the direction of any New American Pathways director, lead employee, or lead volunteer with respect to carrying out my assigned volunteer tasks. If I fail to follow procedures and rules for volunteers or instructions of New American Pathways, I understand that at any time New American Pathways can require me to stop performing any and all volunteer tasks on behalf of New American Pathways.
Volunteer Program. The volunteer program will continue in accordance with past practice. No volunteer shall be allowed to perform bargaining unit work nor replace former funded position. A joint labor management committee will approve future job descriptions for volunteers.
Volunteer Program. If a volunteer is receiving any gifts of value, it will be considered as a conflict of interest and will compromise their placement in the Volunteer Program.

The District and the Union will establish a joint committee of equal representation to explore circumstances under which a bargaining unit employee may be granted release time to volunteer in the classroom. The committee will formulate recommendations for implementation in the 1998-99 school year. The parties further agree that this program of volunteers/conferences shall be evaluated toward the end of the 1999 school year in order to determine whether or not it shall be expanded, modified or deleted for the 1999-2000 school year and beyond.

A designated employee will be responsible the Volunteer Program. including but not limited to the recruitment. selection, training and evaluation of volunteers. Supervisors be required to provide assistance with volunteer orientation to the location specific application of training, in order to service delivery to public. The Volunteer Committee shall consist of up to four (4) union representatives and up to four (4)employer representatives. Meetings will be held for the purposes of reviewing volunteer programs, projects and volunteer work opportunities. In reviewing volunteer work opportunities, the union representatives on the Committee will determine if the position is in accordance with Principle of this Letter of Understanding. Union concurrence for individual work opportunities is required before the work opportunity will be implemented. Outstanding matters may be referred for discussion to the Union-Management Committee, and either Party may have in attendance such representatives as are necessary for a knowledgeable discussion of the matter at issue. All the principles and good practices that relate to sound human resources administration will be applied to volunteers. Volunteer Program. 26.1 The Employer and the Union agree that during the life of this Agreement the Employer may develop and implement a volunteer program. Both parties agree that the volunteer program shall be designed towards the mutual benefit of the organization and the employees. The Employer agrees that the volunteer program shall not be utilized to displace bargaining unit employees, nor shall they be used to reduce their regular hours of work.
