PAY ON DAY OF INJURY. An employee hurt in an industrial accident shall be paid for the time lost on the day he was injured at his regular daily earnings including any overtime premium and applicable shift differential.
PAY ON DAY OF INJURY. 21.01 Employees hurt while performing assigned duties while at work and who require medical attention and/or a period off work, shall be compensated at regular rates (including any applicable shift premium) for all regular time missed on the working day when injured. The Company will provide transportation to medical or hospital facilities off the plant premises and return transportation to home or to the plant.
PAY ON DAY OF INJURY. 21.01 - An employee, who is injured while in the course of his employment at work and is unable to continue to work because of such injury, shall be paid at the rate at the time of injury for the balance of his regular shift.
21.02 - An employee who has received payment under Section 21.01 shall receive pay for regularly scheduled time necessarily spent at the doctor's office for further medical treatment of the injury during working hours subsequent to the day of the accident.
PAY ON DAY OF INJURY. (a) A seniority employee who is injured during working hours while properly performing his duties of employment and who is sent home from work by the Company or by a physician shall be paid for the time lost on the day he was injured at his regular straight time hourly rate exclusive of premiums for the unexpired portion of his scheduled work day.
(b) The Company agrees to abide by the requirements of the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board and agrees not to unduly delay the filing of the necessary reports.
PAY ON DAY OF INJURY. 12:01 An employee hurt in an industrial accident shall be paid for time lost on the day he was injured at his regular daily earnings including any overtime premium.
12:02 The City shall provide transportation and pay for the time spent by employees during their regular shift hours for medical treatment required as a result of an industrial accident or industrial disease incurred or contracted while in the employ of the City.
12:03 It is not the intent of the above provisions to make the City responsible for the payment of such time and transportation which is compensated by the Workers' Safety and Insurance Board.
PAY ON DAY OF INJURY. An employee injured at work or suffering from an occupational illness to the extent that he/she is unable to work at his/her job or any available alternative work shall be paid his occupational rate in full for the day of the accident if he is unable to resume work and does not receive pay from the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board for this day.
PAY ON DAY OF INJURY. Where an employee is required to lose time from work as a result of an injury which occurs on the job or on the Employer’s premises, the employee shall receive his regular pay for the balance of the day on which the injury occurred, less any amount which the employee may receive in respect of Worker’s Compensation for the balance of the day on which the injury occurred.
PAY ON DAY OF INJURY. 20.01 An employee hurt in an industrial accident while at work shall be paid for the time lost on the day he/she was injured at his/her standard hourly rate. If injured during overtime hours, or while on night shift, the overtime premium and applicable shift differential shall apply.
20.02 The Company shall provide transportation and pay of day on injury for the time spent by employees during their shift hours for medical treatment in the nearest clinics, or nearest hospital when such treatment is required, as a result of an industrial accident or disease occurring or contracted while in the Company's plant.
20.03 The company shall not be responsible for the payment of time and transportation compensated for by the W.S.I.B.
20.04 It is understood that the Company will assume cost of transportation to the nearest hospital, return transportation to the plant and, if necessary, to the employee's normal place of residence.
PAY ON DAY OF INJURY. 15.01 If an employee, upon entering the Company property and prepared to commence work, meets with an accident which incapacitates him from completing his duties, he shall be paid for the time lost on the day he was injured at his applicable rate for that shift providing reasonable proof is supplied to the Company that the employee was examined by a doctor on that same day.
PAY ON DAY OF INJURY. If an employee is injured on the job and requires medical attention at the Emergency Department of a local hospital, he/she shall be paid for the balance of his/her shift at the appropriate straight time rate. Such time shall include time spent seeking emergency care and post-emergency care if the attending physician at the Emergency Department determines the employee should not return to work on the day of the injury. Pay for the time the employee has worked plus the time missed while seeking emergency care and post-emergency care shall not exceed the balance of the hours in his/her shift. The employee must furnish documentation from the treating Emergency Department which shows the date the emergency treatment was given and the employee’s work status for the day after the injury. For purposes of overtime calculation, the employee’s time away from the plant to seek emergency care shall not be considered time worked.
