Accumulation Limit. Accumulation of PTO shall be limited to five hundred (500) hours. Employees will be responsible for ensuring that they do not exceed the limit by December 31st of each year. Any balances in excess of will be reduced to at that time.
Accumulation Limit. There is six hundred (600) hour limit of ESL that an employee can accrue.
Accumulation Limit. Vacation may be accrued by twelve month employees only to twice the employee's current annual accrual. Once the accrual limit is reached, no additional days will be accrued by the employee until the vacation balance is decreased.
Accumulation Limit. Where a single accident or series of accidents in a twenty kilometres radius originates from the same occurrence and where:
a) within twenty-four (24) consecutive hours of the event; or
b) within twenty-four (24) consecutive hours of the first event in the series of events; the accident or series of accidents causes injury to more than one insured person, then the maximum amount of benefits payable by the insurer under this policy in connection with all injuries arising from such accident or series of accidents shall be the accumulation limit specified in the schedule irrespective of the number of insureds and/or insured persons claiming. Where the aggregate value of benefits claimed under this policy in connection with injuries arising from an event or series of events exceeds the accumulation limit specified in the schedule, the amount claimed by each insured and/or insured person will be reduced in proportion to the ratio that the accumulation limit bears to the total amount claimed.
Accumulation Limit. Employees shall forfeit their right to take or to be paid for any vacation leave to their credit which is in excess of the accrual for three (3) years plus the current year accrual. Such excess leave shall be eliminated from the employee's leave balance. However, if one accumulates the maximum amount of vacation they are allowed under this Section of the contract, upon approval by the engineer, they may be paid for up to two (2) weeks of vacation per year in lieu of time off. In exchange for the pay, 2 weeks’ vacation would be removed from the employee’s vacation accrual.
Accumulation Limit. Where a single event, or series of events in a twenty kilometres radius originating from the same proximate cause, occurs and where:
a) within twenty-four (24) consecutive hours of the event; or
b) within twenty-four (24) consecutive hours of the first event in the series of events; the event or series of events causes injury to more than one insured person, then the maximum amount of benefits payable by us under the ‘Personal accident cover’ clause in connection with all injury arising from such event or series of events shall be £1,000,000 irrespective of the number of insureds and/or insured persons claiming.
Accumulation Limit. An employee may accumulate vacation credits up to twice his/her annual allowance. Vacation does not accrue beyond that point with the following exceptions:
(1) When any written request by an employee to take a vacation is refused or not acted upon by the Department Head and the employee is not allowed other vacation time off to prevent a loss of vacation credits the employee shall then be paid at the straight time salary rate then in effect not only for the time worked, but also for the vacation time that would have been credited to him/her for so working were it not for said accumulation limit. This payment shall continue until such time as the employee is permitted to take a vacation.
(2) An employee may also exceed his/her vacation limit due to scheduling conflicts, as defined by department management. Notwithstanding year- end payoffs for vacation, and minimum required usage of vacation each year, if an employee exceeds the vacation accumulation limit, the employee will be paid for the vacation in excess of the maximum on a schedule compatible with the current payroll system.
(3) An employee on industrial injury/illness leave shall be permitted to exceed the vacation limit for the period he/she is unable to return to work. The employee shall be paid off for the hours in excess of the vacation limit until he/she is able to return to work and reduce his/her vacation balance below the maximum.
Accumulation Limit. Members may accumulate up to eighty (80) hours of compensatory time. When a member has eighty (80) hours of accumulated compensatory time, all further overtime will be paid in cash.
Accumulation Limit. The total of accumulated days of vacation shall not exceed the number which can be earned in 12 consecutive months, excluding longevity vacation. The District may require Unit Members to use accumulated vacation in excess of the maximum accumulation.
