Additional Available Hours. During the course of the school year, additional hours will be assigned to fluctuating drivers in an effort to bring their daily route hours average to eight (8) hours per day.

Additional Available Hours. (a) Regular part-time employees shall be given first opportunity to work additional available hours. The employment status of such employee will not be changed. Employees called in to work on an unscheduled work day will be paid their regular straight time hourly rate for all hours worked subject to Article 26:04(c) above. Should an employee not be able to work such additional hours due to illness sick leave shall not apply.
Additional Available Hours. The Employer will assign additional available hours, up to four (4) hours per day, to the most senior employee then working who is willing to stay and work those hours. The Employer will not be required to assign additional available hours to an eligible employee if doing so would result in the Employer having to compensate the employee for overtime on a daily or weekly basis. Additional available hours of four (4) or more may be assigned by either extending the shift of the most senior employee working or on a call- in basis. Employees will be called in by seniority. If an eligible employee turns down the opportunity to work additional available hours three (3) times in any three (3) month period, the employee will be ineligible for call in for additional available hours for a period of 180 days from, but not including, the date of the last turn down. The Employer will keep names of employees who reject additional available hours offered, the date on which so rejected, and the specific hours so rejected.
Additional Available Hours. A regular part-time employee shall be offered additional available hours in his or her classification before such is offered to a casual employee if the part-time employee has previously notified the employer in writing of the hours he is available for additional work.

  • Core Hours (1) The default core hours for employees on Maxiflex schedules will be the 3 middle days of the employee’s tour of duty from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., excluding a meal break.

  • Minimum Hours All employees shall be paid their regular hourly rate for each hour worked except where employed for less than four (4) consecutive hours per day, in which event they shall receive a minimum of four (4) hours pay. An employee who is called for work and upon reporting finds that his or her services are not required shall receive two (2) hours pay.

  • Maximum Hours No employee shall be scheduled for more than ten (10) hours per day, or for more than forty-eight (48) hours per week, unless mutually agreed otherwise by the Employer and the employee.

  • Reduction in Hours Any reduction in regularly assigned time shall be considered a layoff under the provisions of this Article.

  • Additional Quantities For a period not exceeding ninety (90) days from the date of solicitation award, the Customer reserves the right to acquire additional quantities up to the amount shown on the solicitation but not to exceed the threshold for Category Two at the prices submitted in the response to the solicitation.

  • Date Increment Due Increments shall accrue and become due and payable on the next day following completion of required service as an employee in the class, unless otherwise provided herein.

  • Increase in Hours 6.4.1 For unit - 1 When additional hours are available to a part-time position on a regular basis, the hours shall be offered to the employee in the unassigned time with the greatest bargaining unit seniority. If the senior employee declines the assignment, it shall be offered to the remaining employees in the class in descending order of bargaining unit seniority until the assignment is made.

  • Additional Shifts 32.1 The Employer is committed to maximising its permanent workforce in line with its occupancy levels. The Employer will always offer additional shifts in the first instance to its permanent part-time staff where practicable. It will then offer additional shifts to its casual or bank staff, where applicable.

  • Shift Hours All shifts assigned by the Employer must conform with the following guidelines:

  • Credit Hours Credit hours are hours that an employee elects to work, with supervisory approval, in excess of the employees basic work requirement under a flexible work schedule. Credit hours may only be accrued under a flexible work schedule. Employees must notify their direct supervisor of their intent to earn credit hours and the duties to be performed at least four (4) hours in advance of the time. Management will respond and approve the credit hours if the work is assigned duties that could not have been performed during a normal tour of duty. Credit hours used are considered hours worked.
