Agency Shop Fee Deduction. The Civil Service Employees Association, Inc., having been recognized as the exclusive representative of employees within the bargaining unit represented by this agreement, shall have agency shop fee deductions made from the wage or salary of employees of said bargaining unit who are not members of CSEA, in an amount equivalent to the membership dues levied by the Civil Service Employees Association, Inc. The District shall make a separate deduction for agency shop fees and remit the amount so deducted with an itemized alphabetical listing showing:
(1) AGENCY SHOP FEE PAYOR NAME
(2) SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER
(3) DOLLAR AMOUNT DEDUCTED FOR AGENCY SHOP FEES
(4) HOME ADDRESS
(5) ANNUAL SALARY
(6) JOB TITLE A separate check made payable to CSEA, Inc., covering the agency shop fee deductions along with the listing will be forwarded at the close of each pay period to the: Civil Service Employees Association, Inc. 000 Xxxxxxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxxxx, XX 00000 Agency shop fee deductions will commence from the employee’s first paycheck and continue until such time as CSEA notifies the District to commence membership dues deductions.
Agency Shop Fee Deduction. 1. The Board of Education of the Xxxxxxxx Union Free School shall deduct from the wage or salary of employees in the bargaining unit described in Article I above who are not members of the Xxxxxxxx Teachers' Association the amount equivalent to the dues levied by the Xxxxxxxx Teachers' Association, and shall transmit the sum so deducted to the Xxxxxxxx Teachers' Association. This provision for agency shop fee deduction shall continue in effect so long as the Xxxxxxxx Teachers' Association maintains such procedure.
2. The agency shop fee deduction shall be made following the same procedures as applicable for dues check off, except as otherwise mandated by law or this Article of Agreement.
3. The GTA affirms that it has adopted such procedures for refunds of agency shop fee deductions as required by law.
Agency Shop Fee Deduction. The parties agree to implement the Agency Fee as provided for in the Xxxxxx Law.
Agency Shop Fee Deduction. 1. The Xxxxxxxx Teachers' Association affirms that it has adopted such procedure for refund of agency shop fee deduction as required in Section 3 of Chapter 677 and 678 of the Laws of 1977 of the State of New York. This provision for agency shop fee deduction shall continue in effect so long as the Xxxxxxxx Teachers' Association maintains such procedure.
2. The agency shop fee deduction shall be made following the same procedures as applicable for dues check-off, except as otherwise mandated by law or this Article of the Agreement.
Agency Shop Fee Deduction. Each employee covered by this Agreement, i.e part of the bargaining unit under Section
1.1 of this Agreement, shall have an amount equal to the periodic dues of a CSEA member deducted from his or her pay at the same times when a CSEA member would pay such dues. The employer shall deduct and transmit said agency shop fees to the CSEA regularly in a payment separate from member dues, identifying each person by name and title.
Agency Shop Fee Deduction. The Employer agrees to deduct from the wages of an employee who is not a member of the PBA but who is represented by the PBA for the purpose of collective bargaining, an Agency Shop Fee in the amount equivalent to the amount of dues payable by a member of the PBA, provided that the PBA establish and maintain a procedure providing for the refund to any employee demanding the return of any part of such Agency Shop Fee, deductions which represent the employee’s pro-rate share of the expenditures by the PBA in aid of activities or causes only incidentally related to the terms and conditions of employment. The Employer shall make the initial deduction no later that the first payroll period after notice from the PBA, that the employee concerned has refused to sign a dues authorization form.
Agency Shop Fee Deduction. All employees represented by the bargaining unit who are not members of the Union, shall be required to pay to the Union an Agency Shop Fee Deduction, as provided by the Civil Service Law which is an amount equivalent to the amount of dues payable by a member. The employer will make deductions from the wages of said employees in the same manner as members of the bargaining unit, and shall transmit such amount to the CSEA, Inc., as an Agency Shop Fee Deduction.
Agency Shop Fee Deduction. Employer will, for each employee who does not authorize Employer to deduct UPSEU dues under Section 2.03 UPSEU Dues Deduction or who otherwise has been designated by the UPSEU as being a member in good standing, deduct from the wages due such employee in any month an agency shop fee equal to the regular dues fixed by UPSEU for such month.
Agency Shop Fee Deduction. All employees represented by the bargaining unit who are not members of the Union, shall be required to pay to the Union an Agency Shop Fee Deduction, as provided by the Civil Service Law, which is an amount equivalent to the amount of dues payable by a member. The District will make deductions from the wages of said employees in the same manner as members of the bargaining unit, and shall transmit such amount to the CSEA, Inc., as an Agency Shop Fee Deduction. Said employee has the right to recover any part of an Agency Shop Fee Deduction which represents the Employee’s pro-rata share of expenditures by the Union in aid of activities or causes only incidentally related to terms and conditions of employment.
Agency Shop Fee Deduction. 1. Pursuant to authorization contained in Civil Service Law 208, subd. 3(b) with respect to agency shop fee deduction and effective in the years of this agreement commencing July 1, 1987 (but subject to continued legislative authorization during such term), the Board agrees to make deductions from the wage or salary of personnel covered by this agreement who are not members of the Association, the amount equivalent to the dues levied by the Association and transmit the sum so deducted to the Association. The foregoing shall only be applicable so long as the Association has established and maintains a procedure providing for the refund to any such person demanding the return of any part of an agency shop fee deduction which represents such person's pro rata share of expenditures by the Association in aid of activities or causes of a political or ideological nature only incidentally related to terms and conditions of employment.
2. The Association agrees to save and hold harmless the Board from any and all losses, expenses, damages, costs and attorney fees that may accrue as a result of the provisions contained in Paragraph B.1 above, by reason of any action, suit or proceeding before any administrative body or judicial or quasi-judicial body or before any arbitrator by any person covered by this agreement or in his or her behalf, involving or in any way relating to the implementation of the agency shop fee deduction provision herein above set forth.
