Change in HoursA change in the hours of the Community Policing Plan work schedule from 8, 10, or 11.5 hours will be noticed by the City no less than six months in advance of the implementation after the ratification of this agreement and no less than one year in advance of the implementation date thereafter. The City will negotiate the impact of any such changes with the IUPA.

Change in Hours. (a) An employee who is required to change his or her regular hours of work without receiving at least seven (7) days’ notice in advance of the starting time of such change in his or her working hours shall be paid at the rate of time and one-half (1 ½) for the first (1st) seven decimal five (7.5) hours. Subsequent hours worked shall be paid for at the straight-time rate, subject to Article 40, Overtime. (b) Every reasonable effort will be made by the Centre to ensure that the employee returns to his or her original hours of work.

Change in Hours. 43 44 Section 1. Base Assignment for Work Year - Employee base assignments for the 45 Shoreline food service operation will be made by August 1st of each year. However, it is 46 understood that assignments may change subsequent to August 1st based on 47 operational needs. The base assignment shall state the employee's classification, 48 location, and number of hours per week. In the event a reduction in hours greater than 49 fifteen (15) minutes from the previous year's base assignment is necessitated, the 50 procedure as provided in Article 18 will be followed.
Change in Hours. 1) An Employee may notify the Employer of his/her desire to change shift lengths or number of days per week. Written notification shall be dated and signed by the Employee, shall clearly explain the days and/or hours changed, and whether the change is temporary or permanent. This notification shall be submitted to the Employee's Manager, with a copy given to the Xxxxxxx. The Employee's Manager and Xxxxxxx will compile and post the list and update it as new requests are submitted. 2) On a quarterly basis a portion of the hygiene workgroup staff meeting will be spent discussing individual hygienist requests for change in hours and recommendations for changes will be mutually agreed upon among the hygienists. 3) Recommendations for changes and any outstanding requests will be evaluated by the Employee's Manager using (but not limited to) the following considerations: a) What are the injury/health needs of the Employee? b) What are the personal/family needs of the Employee? c) What is the cost impact? d) What is the impact on member services and access needs? e) What is the impact on budgeted FTE's within the region? f) What is the impact on operatory use within the clinic? g) What is the impact on dentist:hygienist ratios within the clinic? 4) The Regional Labor/Management Committee will formally review the results and impact of decisions made regarding schedules in the quarterly hygiene workgroup staff meetings. This will be a standing required agenda item at least four (4) times each year for the duration of the contract. This review shall focus on the overall alignment of staff coded at various hours as those numbers correlate with overall Hygiene and Dental Program goals. The considerations noted above will be used to grant such requests and such requests shall not be unreasonably denied for Float and Core Employees. 5) Granting of competing requests shall be according to the following order of application: a) Mutual agreement (if applicable) b) Date of request (earliest request prevails) c) Seniority
Change in Hours. (a) Notice of change of scheduled hours or scheduled days shall be given at least four (4) days prior to the day in question. If such notice of change is not given, the employee shall receive a one-half (1/2) times hourly rate premium for the first shift pay. This provision will not apply when an employee is receiving overtime pay pursuant to Article 9.02 (b) Where the University determines that it is necessary to change a position without weekend hours such that it includes weekend hours, the University will first seek volunteers from among employees in the classification. The most senior volunteer will change hours. Where no one volunteers, the University will require the least senior employee(s) to work the weekend hours. (c) The University will consult with affected employees prior to making a decision to change established shift patterns. Employees will be given as much notice as possible where the University decides to change established shift patterns.

Change in Hours. Daily and weekly work schedules may be changed by the Department Head from time to time to meet the Department's requirements. Employees shall be given fourteen (14) calendar days notice, both orally and in writing, of any change in work schedules except in cases of emergency. Employees shall be required to work the hours scheduled by the Department Head, including all hours scheduled during any emergency or emergency situation. The existence of emergencies and emergency situations shall be determined by the Department Head. Work schedules may not be changed for the purpose of avoiding overtime unless the employee has been provided fourteen (14) work days notice. The hours of full-time or part-time employees will not be reduced for the sole purpose of eliminating full-time or part-time benefits. This provision shall not affect the order or procedures for reduction of staff.
Change in Hours. Employees whose work schedule deviates from the above stated hours must have those hours approved by the building principal and Human Resources Department annually. The Assistant Superintendent of Education Services (Director of Special Education) must approve hours for special education paraeducators. The principal shall have discretion to approve additional hours for special circumstances.
