Class Scheduling. The University is responsible for developing the course schedule for each academic term. Once the department or college has established a tentative class schedule, faculty shall be notified of their course assignments so that they may discuss them with the department chair prior to submitting the schedule to the University for publication. Though the University may consider faculty member’s scheduling preferences, final determination of teaching assignments and schedules shall be made by the University.

Class Scheduling. The Administration shall schedule classes to meet the needs of the students. The Administration shall develop a class schedule to include a sufficient number of courses to fulfill full- time faculty contractual loads and shall coordinate the scheduling of faculty members' classes district-wide.
Class Scheduling. (a) Classes To meet the needs of the College's training commitments, classes may be scheduled by the College as follows:
Class Scheduling. The principal shall seek the input of the teacher(s) before preparing class schedule and assignments. The starting, ending and length of the student day, the length, number and scheduling of class periods shall be determined by the school district. The school district will make the final decision.

Each bargaining unit employee will be entitled to designate in writing before semester assignments are made one (1) assignment free evening per week for that semester. An employee shall not be required without his or her permission to teach in any one evening a class involving more than five (5) contact hours commencing after 5 p.m. Subject to the limitations below, a bargaining unit employee may not, without his or her permission, be initially assigned to teach an off-campus session of a class if a different session of that class is being taught on campus by a part-time non-bargaining unit employee during hours when the bargaining unit employee could be scheduled to teach same. The preceding sentence shall not apply, however, to the Employer’s right to assign up to ten faculty members, per semester, to off campus sites. However, each faculty member may be assigned only once during any three year period, without his or her permission. It is understood that the foregoing shall not preclude reassignment of a bargaining unit employee whose on-campus class has been cancelled to teach an off- campus session of that class which otherwise would have been taught by a part-time non-bargaining unit employee.
