Delegate Leave. At the request of the Union, a leave of absence without pay shall be granted to any employee selected for a Union office and designated as an officer or xxxxxxx to attend the annual State and International Conventions as delegates. Delegates will be selected on the basis of membership as follows: 100 or fewer, one delegate; more than 100 but not exceeding 200, two delegates; more than 200 but not exceeding 300, three delegates; more than 300 but not exceeding 400, four delegates; more than 400, one additional delegate for each 1,000 additional members or fraction thereof.
Delegate Leave. I.1 Two (2) duly elected delegates, as certified by the President of OAPSE Local 278, shall be granted a maximum of four (4) days off, with pay, per year, non-cumulative, to attend OAPSE conferences and meetings, provided the administration is notified in writing, at least one (1) month prior to the date of meeting. All expenses incurred at such meetings are the responsibility of OAPSE. Delegates on leave shall produce documented proof of attendance to the Administration.
Delegate Leave. Up to four (4) voting members of the NEA-NH Assembly of Delegates shall be granted one day’s leave per year for attendance of the NEA-NH Assembly of Delegates meeting.
Delegate Leave. Employees who represent the W.E.A. as delegates at regional, state and national employees’ meetings during regular school hours where the agenda deals with business items, may attend only if the W.E.A. pays the per diem rate of the substitute(s) to the Board Treasurer for the employee(s) who is/are attending the meeting. No more than three (3) employee workdays per delegate will be permitted during the school year. Requests must be presented to the Board for their approval. Notice to the Superintendent shall occur at least two (2) weeks before the date of absence.
Delegate Leave. If any employee of the Company should be elected to act as a delegate for the Union, she/he shall be allowed, upon sufficient notification, reasonable leave of absence without pay, for the transaction of Union business; provided that not more than one (1) employee shall be absent at any one time for every fifteen
Delegate Leave. A. Official delegates to the biannual OEA Representative Assembly shall be permitted time off of one day each, not to exceed two (2) delegates, to attend the Spring Assembly and the ability to leave at noon the Friday before the Fall Representative Assembly. These delegates must give prior notice to the Superintendent at least ten (10) working days in advance.
B. Official delegates to the annual National Education Association Representative Assembly shall be permitted to attend without loss of pay, up to a total of three (3) days. They must give a prior notice to the Superintendent at least two (2) weeks (10 working days) in advance.
Delegate Leave. 1. The Euclid Board of Education agrees to permit no more than two (2) duly elected delegates of OAPSE, Chapter 147, up to three (3) days leave to attend the Ohio Association of Public School Employees Annual Conference.
2. Such approved absence shall be without loss of pay and shall not be deducted from sick leave or personal leave time.
Delegate Leave. 1. The Euclid Board of Education agrees to permit no more than two (2) duly elected delegates of OAPSE, Chapter #128, up to three (3) days leave to attend the Ohio Association of Public School Employees Annual Conference.
2. Such approved absence for the OAPSE Annual Conference shall be, upon completion of an Assignment Request Form to be made available by the Board, without loss of pay, and shall not be deducted from sick leave or personal leave time.
3. In addition, the union president and/or one designee shall be, with the approval of the Superintendent and/or his or her designee and upon completion of an Assignment Request Form, released to perform special projects for OAPSE. This release time will not exceed four (4) days each school year during which time all wages shall be reimbursed to the District by the OAPSE State Office.
Delegate Leave. The District and the Association agree than on or before February 1 of each year, the Association shall supply to the District the names of those voting delegates plus up: to one additional Association member who will attend the Annual State NEA-New Hampshire Delegate Assembly held in the Spring of each year. The District shall provide paid professional leave to those people so identified, which leave shall be subtracted from remaining professional days, if available. It is expressly understood that this leave shall be granted even if a delegate or additional Association member has no professional days remaining for the school year. It is also agreed that the granting of such leave shall not be subject to the 3% cap in Article XIX, D. In the event any of the named voting delegates or the additional member are unable to attend, the District shall allow paid professional leave for the alternate(s) so that the appropriate number of Association members will attend the Delegate Assembly.
Delegate Leave. The parties agree to 4 days per year for NUW meetings plus a reasonable number of additional days up to a maximum of 6 per year, as agreed by management on a case by case basis and provided sufficient notice is given.
