EMS Program. As indicated, each facility, in addition to meeting all requirements of the NPDES general permit, will be required to have an acceptable EMS in place, as determined by an independent 3rd party audit, before the facility can apply for coverage under the NPDES general permit. For the purposes of this Agreement, the workgroup has developed a series of documents which outline a series of EMS requirements that will pertain to individual facilities. UEP will also be developing additional more detailed guidance that will assist individual facilities develop EMSs consistent with the requirements agreed to by the workgroup. The documents included in this FPA include: A set of EMS Elements that describe a series of procedural and process steps each facility will need to use as it develops its EMS, including communications with the local community. The EMS Elements are modeled after the standard Plan-Do-Check-Act EMS framework, but tailored to meet the needs of the egg producing industry. A copy of the EMS Elements is located in Appendix C. An industry Code of Good Practice which describes a number of overall commitments each facility will make through its EMS. The Code is designed to assure that facilities address a full range of potential environmental impacts (regulated and unregulated) and adopt best management practices (BMPs) designed to achieve superior environmental performance. A copy of this Code is in located in Appendix D. A series of Critical Management Programs that facilities would need to implement as part of their EMS. Critical Management Programs define the broad areas of management that every facility will need to address like odor control and pest control. Properly addressing these areas will also help address other environmental impacts, like air quality, that would not be addressed under NPDES permits. UEP will also develop a list of individual best management programs (BMPs) to help ensure effective ongoing implementation of each critical management program. If a facility was not successfully addressing each critical management program, it would not pass the audit. A list of these critical management programs is located in Appendix E The EMS components listed above have been developed by the workgroup led by UEP. Taken together, they define what an individual egg producing facility will need to do to participate in the XL program. EMS Program. 15.1 The Employer and the Union agree to sustain an EMS program for the purpose of delivering incident response capabilities and maintaining employee certifications. 15.2 Minimum certification for employees is Emergency Medical Technician Basic (EMT-B) as defined by WAC. All newly hired personnel shall obtain certifications as required by Washington State and Snohomish County within their probationary period. Failure to maintain minimum certification may, at the Fire Chief or designee’s discretion, be cause for discipline or employee termination. Minimum certification shall not apply to employees who were not a certified EMT-B upon formation of the RFA. 15.3 The Employer shall provide at no cost to the employee, minimum required continuing education and ongoing EMS training either on‐duty or on an overtime basis for all EMT’s and Paramedics. All required books, tuition, fees and materials for EMS minimum required training and certification shall be provided by the Employer. 15.4 Employer employee(s) failing to pass initial paramedic certification after attending the Employer-approved training institution, and if failing to pass all allowable testing sessions, employee (s) may on their personal time, retake the course and examination as allowed by the accredited training institution or testing entity. Re‐entry into a paramedic training program shall be in accordance with Employer paramedic school application procedures. 15.5 Employer/employees may be offered an opportunity to advance their certification by participating in an Employer- approved paramedic training institution. Sponsored Employer/employees shall apply for paramedic school as defined in Article 14. 15.6 Paramedic program exit procedures: A Paramedic wishing to exit the Employer’s EMS paramedic program shall forward a letter to the Fire Chief or his designee requesting to exit the program a minimum of one year prior to desired date. The Fire Chief or designee may waive the one year minimum due to extenuating circumstances. 15.7 Paramedic program re‐entry procedures: a Firefighter/paramedic who has exited the paramedic program may apply to re‐enter the program as defined in Article 14.

  • Educational Program A. DSST PUBLIC SCHOOLS shall implement and maintain the following characteristics of its educational program in addition to those identified in the Network Contract at DSST XXXX MIDDLE SCHOOL (“the School” within Exhibit A-3). These characteristics are subject to modification with the District’s written approval:

  • HEALTH PROGRAM 3701 Health examinations required by the Employer shall be provided by the Employer and shall be at the expense of the Employer. 3702 Time off without loss of regular pay shall be allowed at a time determined by the Employer for such medical examinations and laboratory tests, provided that these are performed on the Employer’s premises, or at a facility designated by the Employer. 3703 With the approval of the Employer, a nurse may choose to be examined by a physician of her/his own choice, at her/his own expense, as long as the Employer receives a statement as to the fitness of the nurse from the physician. 3704 Time off for medical and dental examinations and/or treatments may be granted and such time off, including necessary travel time, shall be chargeable against accumulated income protection benefits.

  • The Program The Program is a comprehensive commercial energy efficiency program that offers financial incentives and financing for qualifying energy efficiency measures in commercial buildings to customers who are property owners, tenants or managers (customers) of ACE in New Jersey. Customers must receive ACE electric delivery service and be in good standing. Incentives are available to customers for the purchase and installation of qualifying energy-efficiency measures at the location where the qualifying project is to be installed. ACE will not offer financial incentives for the same eligible measure to those customers who have received financial incentives or rebates from other ACE energy efficiency programs.

  • Program 3.01. The Borrower declares its commitment to the Program and its implementation. To this end, and further to Section 5.08 of the General Conditions: (a) the Borrower and the Bank shall from time to time, at the request of either party, exchange views on the Borrower’s macroeconomic policy framework and the progress achieved in carrying out the Program; (b) prior to each such exchange of views, the Borrower shall furnish to the Bank for its review and comment a report on the progress achieved in carrying out the Program, in such detail as the Bank shall reasonably request; and (c) without limitation upon the provisions of paragraphs (a) and (b) of this Section, the Borrower shall promptly inform the Bank of any situation that would have the effect of materially reversing the objectives of the Program or any action taken under the Program including any action specified in Section I of Schedule 1 to this Agreement.

  • E-Verify Program Grantee certifies that it utilizes and will continue to utilize the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's E-Verify system to determine the eligibility of: A. all persons employed to perform duties within Texas during the term of the Grant Agreement; and B. all persons, (including subcontractors) assigned by the Grantee to perform work pursuant to the Grant Agreement within the United States of America.

  • Pilot Programs The Employer may develop voluntary pilot programs to test the acceptability of various risk management programs. Incentives for participation in such programs may include limited short-term improvements to the benefits outlined in this Article. Implementation of such pilot programs is subject to the review and approval of the Joint Labor-Management Committee on Health Plans.

  • Safety Program The Contractor shall design a specific safety program for the Work for the site(s). The Contractor shall establish and require all Subcontractors to establish reasonable safety programs. The Contractor shall also submit its standard monthly safety reports to the Owner and Design Professional. No imposition of responsibility on the Contractor for safety under this Contract shall relieve any subcontractor of its responsibility for safety of persons or property on or near the Project Site. The Contractor shall include in his plant he names of the person in charge of Safety.

  • Marketing Plan The MCOP shall submit an annual marketing plan to ODM including all planned activities for promoting membership in or increasing awareness of the MCOP. The marketing plan submission shall include an attestation by the MCOP that the plan is accurate and is not intended to mislead, confuse, or defraud the eligible individuals or ODM.

  • Marketing Plans Contractor and the Exchange recognize that Enrollees and other health care consumers benefit from efforts relating to outreach activities designed to increase heath awareness and encourage enrollment. The parties shall share marketing plans on an annual basis and with respect to periodic updates of material changes. The marketing plans of each of the Exchange and Contractor shall include proposed marketing approaches and channels and shall provide samples of any planned marketing materials and related collateral as well as planned, and when completed, expenses for the marketing budget. The Contractor shall include this information for both the Exchange and the outside individual market. The Exchange shall treat all marketing information provided under this Section as confidential information and the obligation of the Exchange to maintain confidentiality of this information shall survive termination or expiration of this Agreement.

  • Program Services a) Personalized Care Practice agrees to provide to Program Member certain enhancements and amenities to professional medical services to be rendered by Personalized Care Practice to Program Member, as further described in Schedule 1 to these Terms. Upon prior written notice to Program Member, Personalized Care Practice may add or modify the Program Services set forth in Schedule 1, as reasonably necessary, and subject to such additional fees and/or terms and conditions as may be reasonably necessary. b) Program Member acknowledges that the Program Services are services that are not covered services under any insurance contract to which Program Member may be a party, including, without limitation, Medicare, and are not reimbursable by Program Member’s insurer, health plan or any governmental entity, including Medicare. Program Member agrees to bear sole financial responsibility for the Member Amenities Fee and agrees not to submit to Program Member’s insurer, health plan or governmental entity any xxxx, invoice or claim for payment or reimbursement of such Member Amenities Fee. c) Personalized Care Practice or its designated affiliate will separately charge Program Member or Program Member’s insurer, health plan or governmental entity for medical, clinical, diagnostic or therapeutic services rendered by Personalized Care Practice or its designated affiliate to Program Member, and Program Member may seek payment or reimbursement from Program Member’s insurer or health plan for any such service to the extent covered by Program Member’s insurer, health plan or governmental entity. d) Program Member understands, agrees and covenants that this Agreement is a service contract, and not a contract for insurance.
