Expulsion Policy. Board may deny attendance at the Academy by expulsion of any student who is a habitual truant, or who is incorrigible, or whose conduct, in the judgment of the Principal or Board, is such as to be continuously a discipline problem, or who may be harmful to the other students. The Governing Board shall have the right to permanently expel students for disciplinary or attendance reasons. In the event of an expulsion, the Board and administration will conform to all requirements regarding notification, representation, hearings, and documentation. Any disciplinary issue that results in administrative action will, at a minimum, result in parental contact. If the issue involves possible illegal activities, administration will contact law enforcement.
Expulsion Policy. Cornerstone may involuntarily withdraw or expel any student from school for any one of the following reasons: ● Violation by the parent or student of any Policy in this Enrollment Agreement. ● Failure to timely pay any tuition, fee, charge, cost or other sum of money that becomes due under or is authorized by this Enrollment Agreement. ● Breach by the parent or student of any covenant, restriction, representation, obligation or requirement under this Enrollment Agreement or any other agreements between the parent and the school, including without limitation the Statement of Cooperation. ● Breach by the parent or student of any rule or regulation of the school. ● Attendance at CCS is a privilege that can be withdrawn at any time, and the school’s involuntary withdrawal or expulsion of a student shall provide no remedy, right or cause of action to the student or his/her parent(s) or legal guardian(s), and to the extent that any such remedy, right or cause of action may exist, it is hereby waived by execution of this Contract.
Expulsion Policy. On rare occasions, a child’s behavior may warrant the need to find a more suitable setting for care. Every effort will be made to prevent the expulsion or dismissal of children from the program. This includes but not limited to: vulgarity, intimidation, harassment, or violation of child care licensing regulations. Exclusionary methods will not be considered until all other possible interventions have been exhausted and there is agreement that exclusion is in the best interest of the child and program. The following are proactive steps that will be taken in order to prevent expulsion: ● Staff will try to redirect the child from negative behavior and help teach the child appropriate skills to address challenging behaviors. ● Staff will reassess the environment, activities and supervision. ● Staff will follow our stated discipline policy and always use positive methods and language to xxxxxx problem solving and choice making. ● Staff will maintain strong connections with the child and family. ● The child and parent will be notified of disruptive behaviors. ● Director, teacher and parent will have a conference to discuss how to promote positive behavior. ● A specialized care team will be formed to address how to best support the child. If expulsion or dismissal is necessary, the Director will help the family to assess services and find an alternative placement to the best of their ability. Any student having been expelled may be readmitted to North Valley Academy by the Principal or Board upon such reasonable conditions as may be prescribed by the Principal or Board; but such readmission will not prevent the Principal or Board from again expelling such pupil for cause. No student will be expelled nor denied enrollment without the Principal or Board having first given written notice to the parent of the student, which notice shall:

Expulsion Policy. I hereby fully understand and agree that acceptance by EIN is provisional and students may be subject to expulsion without recourse if they violate any of the terms of the contract agreement or do not meet EIN standards including: - Edison’s copyright and intellectual property of educational materials (legal action may additionally be taken against such violations). - Not completing the course in the established timeframe. - Not making the necessary, established payments in a timely fashion. - Not following Jurisprudence laws of practice. - Failure of the same course twice - Cheating on a test or assignment or allowing their work to be copied. - Dishonesty in any form, misrepresentation, plagiarism, unethical behaviour. - Consistent tardiness, abusive language or behaviour. - Acts of discrimination or harassment to fellow students, instructors, or administrative staff. - If they misrepresent themselves as a practitioner while they are still a student. Academic Probation Academic probation is a status established to monitor a student’s academic progress and assure professional competency upon graduation. A student will be placed on Academic Probation for having failed one course. Academic Probation may be lifted after passing the failed course. Refund Policy The application fee, assessment fee and shipping fees are non-refundable. A full refund of tuition fees, if cancellation is received in writing with 10 days from commencement of program/receipt of materials. A 50% refund on unused tuition fees if cancellation is received with 30 days from commencement of program/receipt of materials. Withdrawal after 30 days results in no tuition refund. All unused program curriculum must be returned prior to refund being issued. A 15% processing fee with apply to all current textbooks returned in resalable condition within 20 days from date of cancellation.

Cancellation by GCRC: GCRC may, in its sole discretion, cancel an itinerary or portion of an itinerary at any time, prior to departure. Except as specifically provided in this paragraph, the cancellation of an itinerary or portion of an itinerary by GCRC will be subject to the limitation of liability contained in section 10 of this Agreement.
