Field Inspection. On completion of construction, Landlord and Tenant shall conduct an inspection of the improvements to identify whether there are any incomplete items or other deficiencies. A punch list of such deficiencies shall be prepared. Tenant shall make all corrections within no more than fifteen (15) days thereafter.
Field Inspection. Execution of the Agreement by Contractor is a representation to HFC that Contractor has visited and inspected each Parking Facility, inspected the Units, become familiar with the conditions under which the Services are to be performed, and correlated personal observations with the requirements of the Agreement.
Field Inspection. The Consultant shall provide sufficient inspectors to adequately inspect all Contractors’ construction work. The CM or inspectors shall provide field inspection of Contractor’s construction work on a daily basis. The CM or inspectors will review all construction prior to burial, and provide for inspection of all tests required to be performed by the Contractor or referenced in the contract documents. CM and field inspectors shall monitor the Contractor’s performance from the perspective of quality, cost, and schedule, and shall enforce the requirements of applicable Specifications. Daily Inspection Reports and diaries of Contractor’s construction activities shall be completed daily and be available to the County at any time. The CM or designated representative shall compare notes with the Contractor’s representative at the end of each day to confirm work that was accomplished, or quantities placed. Daily inspection reports shall include, at a minimum, the following information: the number, classification and hourly summary of activity of Contractor’s employees working, material deliveries, number, type and hourly summary of Contractor’s equipment on site (both working and not used), weather conditions, discussions with the Contractor, problems and issues dealt with, changes, work completed on the day, itemization of extra work, and any other information necessary to create a satisfactory record of the day’s activities at the project site in accordance with standard inspection practice. Abnormal occurrences and unforeseen conditions shall be noted in the reports. The Consultant will document special situations by photograph, written record and/or video submit them at the end of each day. The CM shall prepare and submit written weekly reports to the County describing updates of project process, percent of work completed, percent of funds expended, listing of change orders, work activities behind schedule and community relations issues. All outstanding deficiencies and claims shall also be noted in the weekly reports. The CM shall document any defective work until it is repaired to the CM’s satisfaction and in accordance with the contract documents’ applicable specification. 3.7.1 Independent Testing, Inspection and Survey Services
Field Inspection. Field Office: None. Independent Testing, Inspection and Survey Services: The City will employ, or cause the Consultant to employ, independent firms for the material testing, specialty inspection, survey, or other services related to verifying the quality of the Consultant's work. City will coordinate City-provided testing, inspection and survey services. Engineer will review the reports and other information prepared by the independent firms that are provided by the Construction Manager or the City to Consultant. Construction Manager will assist in coordinating their schedules and the transmittal of their reports, findings or other information to the Consultant and/or the City. Engineer shall not be responsible for the accuracy or completeness of the work and reports of the independent testing, inspection and survey firms. Review of Work: Engineer will not make on-site daily observations. City and Construction Manager will supervise a team of field inspection staff (who are not employed by Engineer), who will prepare written reports, diaries or other records of their observations. City's inspection staff (not Engineer) will arrange for weekly photographs of the work in progress by the Consultant, which will be made available to the City in EADOC. Engineer's observation of the work is not an exhaustive observation or inspection of all work performed by the Consultant. Engineer does not guarantee the performance of the Consultant. Engineer's observations shall not relieve the Consultant from responsibility for performing the work in accordance with the contract for construction, and Engineer shall not assume liability in any respect for the construction of the project. Engineer shall, with the assistance of the City, obtain written plans from the Consultant for quality control of its work, and will monitor the Consultant's compliance with its plan. Deficient and Non-conforming Work: Should Engineer discover or believe that any work by the Consultant is not in accordance with the contract for construction, or is otherwise defective, or not conforming to requirements of the contract or applicable rules and regulations, Engineer will bring this to the attention of the City. Field Inspection. OWNER has the right to inspect, either through its personnel or International Independent Inspection Agency, all field works provided , however, that in exercising its rights the OWNER shall not cause undue delay or inconvenience to the CONTRACTOR in the execution of the WORKS. Inspection by the OWNER shall not relieve the CONTRACTOR from any of his responsibility regarding the good execution of the WORKS. OWNER shall be given notice of any tests to be made in the field in order that OWNER may witness any such tests and checks that the procedure and the verification are in accordance with applied standards. OWNER failure to inspect any work or to object thereto at the time of the inspection shall not relieve the CONTRACTOR of any of his responsibilities. The OWNER inspectors will have the right to require CONTRACTOR to execute additional tests in respect to those already foreseen, provided these tests are within the limits established by the applicable code and standard. Costs of such tests are to be borne by the OWNER.
