First Steps. After the successful installation, the following Window appears: The MicroBrowser is able to display - All Web-HMI which are designed with SpiderControl PC HMI Editor or an OEM version of it - CODESYS WebVisu V2.3 - CODESYS WebVisu V3.x For all other content, the AutomationBrowser will use the integrated Chromium HTML5 Web-Client. When opening an URL, the AutomationBrowser will first analyze the HTML page and then open automatically either the MicroBrowser or Chromium (when in Auto Mode). Older SpiderControl HMI projects as well as the CODESYS Webvisu V2.3 used Java Applets, which are no longer supported in any Browser. The MicroBrowser is able to display these HMI without a Java VM by using a native implementation. CODESYS Webvisu V3.x can be visualized both with the MicroBrowser as well as with Chromium HTML5. The MicroBrowser offers better performance as well as other possibilities, so for this type of HMI the AutomationBrowser will open Chromium when in Auto-Mode or the MicroBrowser when forced to MicroBrowser Mode. When you display a newer HTML5 based SpiderControl HMI, the Auto mode will open the MicroBrowser, but you can force it to use Chromium by selecting the HTML5 mode. Enter Android Settings to modify IP Address and other network related parameters. This is useful when the AutomationBrowser is in Home Screen mode and the user has no access to other Apps. Full-screen is only used to remove the status bar in the top of the screen Immersive-Mode is used to remove both status bar and the task bar in the bottom of the screen (restore task bar with a swipe up from the bottom of the screen) This is only used in HTML 5 mode to show a control bar in the top of the screen, to navigate with previous and next buttons, to refresh the view or to come back in the home view - MicroBrowser: The view will automatically de re-scaled to fit the screen (isotropic, keep width/height ratio) - HTML 5: It's not really re-scaled on the view, since it depends on the HTML page. But it will activate an option of the WebView control to fit the screen. - MicroBrowser: enable/disable panning and zooming of the view. - HMTL 5: Unused, this option is handled in the HTML code - MicroBrowser: Improve the rendering with anti-alias if the device does not already support this feature in hardware accelerator. In most devices we don't need to activate this option. - HTML 5: Unused - MicroBrowser: Either show the Android Keypad to edit a value or use the Keypad/alphapad TEQ files - HTM...

First Steps. Upon admission to the graduate program, you will be assigned an academic advisor. You should schedule a meeting with your advisor each semester to discuss your course schedule and program progression. As your research interest is defined, you may select a thesis or scholarly project advisor whose interests match your own. You should review the policies and procedures in this handbook, as well as the University Graduate Catalog. Registration forms for taking courses are available in the Student Services Building. Registration periods are indicated in the University calendar. You should also review the forms contained in this manual. Additional copies can be obtained in the human nutrition graduate program office (303B Xxxxxxx Xxxx Building 242 Xxxxxx). These forms are referred to throughout the policy and procedure statements. A summary of sequence of events in progress toward degree completion and a progress toward degree checklist are also included in this manual. These summarize the major steps or phases in your academic and research activities listed in the order they typically occur. In addition, the summary indicates any paperwork needed to document this progression. The checklist translates the sequence into a series of forms/activities/requirements with a space to note the date of completion. Though each student’s progress may differ somewhat, referring to this summary/checklist on a regular basis in consultation with your academic advisor will assist with timely completion of your degree.

First Steps. While it is important to establish whether actors used the Internet exclusively from their entry point into the radical milieu to their eventual activity, it is admittedly a high evidentiary bar, particularly given the weight of evidence in previous literature that suggests actors tend to use both domains. While coding the case studies line-by-line descriptively to establish whether there were online only trajectories, the data show that the Internet accounted for the first steps into the radical milieu for several actors. The majority then went on to act offline in different ways, but the filings and reporting explicitly state that the Internet was the entry point for them. Interestingly, descriptive coding highlighted several different reasons and methods for actors turning to the Internet to seek radical content. Upon constant comparison, these are selectively coded into themes which relate to how actors came to enter the radical online milieu. Spiritual Fulfilment Several actors turned to the Internet for a more radical interpretation of Islam because they felt they were not being fulfilled spiritually. As detailed above, Hoda Muthana, sought a more fundamental religious experience than her family could provide. Although they were deeply conservative, Muthana told a reporter that she sought a more radical interpretation of Islam, and her father’s graduation gift of a cellphone provided a gateway to the radical YouTube lectures and jihadist Twitter that gave her that opportunity.306 Ali Shukri Amin, who operated the influential @AmreekiWitness Twitter account and facilitated the travel of Reza Niknejad, told a forensic psychologist that he, too, sought a more intellectual religious experience than the ceremonial Islam that was practiced by his parents. He then researched Islam online, leading him to IS supporters, who made him feel intellectually valued.307 For others, it was a frustration that went beyond family. Similarly, Keonna Thomas’ defence counsel claimed that she began to use the Internet when she felt that her local Muslim community was not giving her the religious structure 306 Ellie Hall, Gone Girl: An Interview with An American in ISIS. 307 Yasmeen Abutaleb and Kristina Cooke, A teen’s turn to radicalism and the US safety net that failed to stop it, Reuters, June 6, 2016.
