General Holidays During Vacation. Where one or more general holidays fall during the vacation period of an employee, such employee may prolong her vacation period by one (1) day for each such general holiday or be granted a paid holiday at another time agreed upon with the Company. However, where the employee wishes to prolong her vacation period in the above-described cir- cumstances, her intention to this effect must accompany her vacation preference submitted to the Company as outlined in Article 19.

General Holidays During Vacation. ‌ When a General Holiday falls or is observed during an employee's annual vacation period, they shall be granted an additional day's vacation for each General Holiday in addition to their regular vacation time.
