(b) If there is a successful applicant, the resulting vacant classification will be posted within twenty-four (24) hours plant wide for a further forty-eight (48) hour period. If there is a successful applicant an additional resulting vacant classification will be posted, no further posting will be required, except in the event that the resulting opening is on the day shift, in which case that would be the final posting.
(c) For up to ten (10) classification openings in a four (4) week period, resulting openings will be posted, but additional postings beyond ten (10) will not result in a second posting.
26.04 It is understood that there shall be no displacing of employees under this transfer procedure.
26.05 This transfer procedure shall not apply during reductions in work force, or when employees are laid off from the department.
26.06 An employee may withdraw a bid at any time prior to being offered the requested transfer. At the time the employee is offered the requested transfer, he/she may decline the transfer, but will be ineligible to apply for a transfer for a period of 3 (three) months.
26.07 A transferred employee who fails to qualify within 3 days, or the normal training period, if longer, after being transferred shall be placed on an open position in that department (or in his/her previous department, for those who have changed departments). Job Posting Transfer. A. All vacancies and newly created openings of a permanent nature including summer openings, which are applicable to the CSEA Teacher Aide Bargaining Unit shall be posted throughout the year, for twelve months, for a period of five (5) work days. During summer breaks, the District will e-mail all Unit Members of possible job openings. Such posting notices will appear in an established posting place in each building, and shall indicate the classification, location, hours per day, and rate range of the job. To be considered for the posted position, a written application(s) for each specific posting must be received in the office of Human Resources within the five (5) day posting period.
B. An opening in a building with substantially similar skills and similar hours may be filled from within the building as long as one opening for this building is posted appropriately.
C. Transfers of Teacher Aides from one building to another will be made on the basis of least seniority in the assignment location being first transferred.
D. At the end of each school year the District will hold a Big Board Session to post all available or potential job openings for the upcoming school year. All Unit members will be notified of this Big Board Session to be held on a mutually agreed upon date in June of each school year. All eligible unit members may bid on any open position, to be awarded by seniority.

Job Posting Transfer. 15.01 The Employer will post all permanent job opening(s) which he intends to fill at the site where the permanent posting exists for a period of seven (7) working days. Employees will only bid within their own Branch.
15.02 When skill, ability, competency and efficiency are sufficient, seniority shall be the governing factor in filling the position(s). Where an employee has transferred under this clause, he cannot transfer again for two (2) years. New employees will be excluded from the job posting clause for the first two (2) years of their employment.
15.03 An employee, due to his inability to perform the work required, may be returned directly by the Employer to the job he held immediately prior to such transfer, together with all other employees who have moved as a result of the filling of the posting.
15.04 When full-time positions are available in any branch within the Bargaining Unit, such positions shall be posted Bargaining Unit wide before the Employer fills the position with a new hire.
