– LEAVES, HOLIDAYS AND VACATIONS. Preamble. The Board and the Union agree that good employee attendance helps the school district operate more safely and efficiently. Therefore, the Board and the Union have a mutual interest in good attendance. Employees are encouraged to maintain good attendance while using as appropriate the types of leave recognized by this Article.

– LEAVES, HOLIDAYS AND VACATIONS. 17.01 Paid
– LEAVES, HOLIDAYS AND VACATIONS. 6.1(a) Newly hired Paraeducators shall receive ten (10) days of sick leave for the first (1st) year of employment subject to pro-rating for dates of hire after the start of the school year. Paraeducators in their second (2nd) or more year, shall earn 20 days per year, credited a the beginning of the school year. Unused sick leave shall be allowed to accumulate from year to year to a maximum of 190 days, provided, that a Paraeducator who begins any subsequent school year with a previous maximum accumulation shall earn the two (2) days per month to which he/she is entitled for that year. Upon completing 15 consecutive years of service and upon retirement, resignation in good standing or death, accumulated sick leave shall be paid at a rate equivalent to 33% the value of the days accumulated up to a maximum of sixty three (63) days, at the current rate of pay. In the event a Paraeducator has completed 15 years of service and dies while still actively employed by the District, the Paraeducator’s estate will receive the value of the prorated sick leave that the Paraeducator would have been entitled to receive. Upon completing 30 consecutive years of service and upon retirement, resignation in good standing or death, accumulated sick leave shall be paid at a rate equivalent to 66 2/3% the value of the days accumulated up to a maximum one hundred twenty seven (127), at the current rate of pay. In the event a Paraeducator has completed 30 years of service and dies while still actively employed by the District, the Paraeducator’s estate will receive the value of the prorated sick leave that the Paraeducator would have been entitled to receive. * Should a paraeducator’s regularly scheduled hours be reduced below 20 hours per week, see Appendix B for sick leave day administration.

  • HOLIDAYS AND VACATIONS If work is performed on Buyer's premises, Buyer shall not be obligated to make any payments to Seller for days designated by Buyer as holidays or shutdown periods, except for work specifically authorized in writing by Xxxxx's Authorized Procurement Representative and performed by Seller on such days.

  • HOLIDAYS AND VACATION Executive shall be eligible for paid holiday and vacation time in accordance with Company policy as in effect from time to time and made available to Company’s senior management employees.

  • Vacation/Holidays The Executive shall be entitled to all public holidays observed by the Company and vacation days in accordance with the applicable vacation policies for senior executives of the Company, which shall be taken at a reasonable time or times.

  • VACATIONS 13.01 All employees who are regularly scheduled seventy-five (75) hours on a bi- weekly basis shall receive vacations with pay based on length of full-time continuous service as follows:

  • HOLIDAYS The following days are observed as holidays by state agencies in accordance with section 110.117, F.S.: • New Year’s Day • Birthday of Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx, Xx., third Monday in January • Memorial Day • Independence Day • Labor Day • Veterans’ Day, November 11 • Thanksgiving Day • Friday after Thanksgiving • Christmas Day If any of these holidays falls on Saturday, the preceding Friday shall be observed as a holiday. If any of these holidays falls on Sunday, the following Monday shall be observed as a holiday. Customers may have additional holiday(s) observed specifically by the Customer which will be detailed in the Customer’s order.

  • PAID VACATIONS 16.01 An employee in the active employ of the Company shall be entitled to an annual paid vacation pay on the following basis:

  • ANNUAL VACATIONS Vacation entitlement earned during previous employment shall be credited to the employee, and vacations granted shall be in accordance with such previous entitlement (Articles 28.01 and 28.02).
