Minimum Rest Period. (a) The Employer shall not require an employee to work more than six (6) consecutive days of work. A normal day off shall be a twenty-four (24) hour period commencing at 12:00 a.m. and ending the next 12:00 a.m. unless mutually agreed otherwise by the Employer and the employee.
(b) An employee shall be provided with a minimum of ten (10) hours off between her last client visit of the day and her first client visit on a subsequent day, unless mutually agreed otherwise by the Employer and the employee.
Minimum Rest Period. An employee who has worked overtime shall return to work on their next regular shift following the overtime, provided the employee has received eight (8) hours rest. An employee whose eight (8) hour rest period extends beyond the start of their next shift, and therefore does not report to work until the eight (8) hour rest period is complete, shall qualify for full pay for their next regular shift.
Minimum Rest Period. 9.12.1 The Minimum Rest Period will be: • Eleven hours and fifteen minutes (11:15) at Home Base or Away from Home Base prior to the next scheduled Report Time. • A CCM who operates a red eye flight will not be scheduled for a Report Time before noon (local) of the following calendar day. This limitation may be waived at check-out if the CCM elects to keep their next assigned flight.
9.12.2 Regardless of the above, the Company shall provide a period of time where a CCM is free from all duty and is provided with an opportunity to obtain eight (8) consecutive hours of sleep in suitable accommodation, which is uninterrupted by the Company, plus travel time to and from the rest facility provided by the Company and time for personal hygiene and meals. A CCM is required to travel non-stop to the rest facility immediately at the end of the Duty Period and check-in immediately upon arrival. Total time allotted shall not be less than ten (10) hours from the time the entire crew is checked into the hotel with room key in hand until the pick-up time at the rest facility. The responsibility for ensuring that the Crew receives ten (10) hours lies solely with the CCMs.
9.12.3 CCMs will not operate more than three (3) planned consecutive red-eye flights. This limitation excludes delay situations or unforeseen circumstances.
9.12.4 Following three (3) consecutive flight duty periods that exceed twelve
Minimum Rest Period. Employees on eight (8) hour shifts who are required to report back to work to replace an employee on a regularly scheduled shift, and who begin working within less than 9 hours after having been released from work shall receive two (2) times their regular rate of pay for each hour worked thereafter until they receive a break of nine
Minimum Rest Period. 35.1. Employees must have at least 10 hours off duty between the cessation of work on completion of a 7.25 hour day and the re-commencement of work on that day or another day.
35.2. If employees have not had at least 10 hours off duty between the cessation of work on one day and the re-commencement of work on that day or another day, one of the following applies:
a) The employee will be released from starting their next shift without loss of pay until the employee has had 10 hours off duty; this would mean time off at the base rate of pay and the balance of the second shift (hours remaining) worked at the base rate of pay; or
b) The employee will be paid at double (x2) the base rate of pay until they are released to have 10 hours off duty.
Minimum Rest Period. 11.4.1. The Company shall provide a period of time in which a Flight Crew Member is free from all duty, and is provided with an opportunity to obtain not less than eight uninterrupted consecutive hours of sleep in suitable accommodation, plus travel time to and from the rest facility provided by the Company, and time for personal hygiene and meals.
11.4.2. The minimum rest periods will be: ◆ Sunwing Base - 11 hours and 15 minutes (11:15) from check out to check in. ◆ Away from Sunwing Base - 10 hours and 30 minutes (10:30) from check out to check in.
11.4.3. Regardless of the above a Flight Crew Member shall be guaranteed the opportunity to obtain eight (8) hours of undisturbed prone rest.
11.4.4. It is a Flight Crew Member’s responsibility to check out with Crew Scheduling after completion of a flight that terminates at a Sunwing Base.
Minimum Rest Period. International If a Crewmember's duty period is less than eighteen (18) hours, the rest period will be a minimum of eleven (11) hours free of all duty. If a Crewmember's duty period exceeds eighteen (18) hours, the rest period will be a minimum of thirteen (13) hours free of all duty unless agreed otherwise by the affected Crewmember.
Minimum Rest Period. 11.5.1 The minimum rest periods will be: Eleven hours and fifteen minutes (11:15) from Check Out to Check In.
11.5.2 Regardless of the above, the Company shall provide a period of time in which a FCM is free from all duty, and is provided with an opportunity to obtain not less than eight uninterrupted consecutive hours of sleep in suitable accommodation, plus travel time to and from the rest facility, and time for personal hygiene and meals. The allotted time shall not be less than ten hours (10:00) from the time the entire crew is checked into the hotel with room key in hand until the pickup time at the hotel provided that the crew goes directly to the hotel from the airport and checks in immediately.
11.5.3 It is the FCM’s responsibility to check-out with crew scheduling after completion of a flight that terminates at the FCM’s Base.
11.5.4 The FCM’s minimum Rest Period at home base may be voluntarily reduced by the FCM to a maximum of forty-five (00:45) minutes due to an operational delay provided the FCM has the opportunity to obtain not less than eight (8) consecutive hours of prone rest.
11.5.5 In order for the rest period to be reduced, the FCM may advise Crew Scheduling via email in advance of the duty affecting his Rest Period. Rest may also be waived on check out if the flight has not already been staffed.
11.5.6 It is the FCM’s responsibility to consider the operational and safety aspects of reducing the crew rest period.
11.5.7 If the Company requests FCM to reduce Minimum Rest Period, the FCM is under no obligation to do so. A hotel room may be provided if requested by the FCM.
Minimum Rest Period. 12.5.1 The Minimum Rest Periods at Home Base will be: Twelve hours and thirty minutes (12:30) between the completion of the Duty Period, to the commencement of the next Duty Period. In the case of 12.5.1 above where there is a difference in local time (time zones) between the Report location and the Duty ends at Home Base the following will apply:
12.5.2 The Minimum Rest Period away from Home Base will be: The allotted time shall not be less than ten hours (10:00) from the time the entire crew is checked into the hotel with room key in hand until the pickup time at the hotel provided that the crew goes directly to the hotel from the airport and checks in immediately.
12.5.3 All FCM’s are required to Check Out with Crew Scheduling after a Duty Period which terminates at Home Base. FCM’s should Check Out via eCrew either from their own personal computing device, or from the Company provided EFB. If a FCM is unable to Check Out via eCrew, they must call Crew Scheduling and Check Out over the phone. Any assignment offered by Crew Scheduling will be voluntary.
12.5.4 The FCM or the Company shall not reduce Crew Rest Periods that will adversely affect fatigue level or alertness for the FCM.
12.5.5 Due to irregular operations or delays, Minimum Rest may be reduced to ten (10:00) hours at Home Base when requested by the Company, provided:
a) The FCM is in agreement AND;
b) The Company provides Suitable Accommodation.
c) Per Diem will be provided by the Company. The ten (10) hours will begin with key in hand at the Suitable Accommodation.
Minimum Rest Period.
