Miscellaneous Working Rules. SEC. 1. Employees instructed by the Employer, or his authorized agent, to report at the Employer’s yard, job or shop and not put to work the same day shall be allowed One (1) hour’s pay for so reporting, provided: show up time will not be paid unless the employee reports to the job or shop by the appointed starting time and can be required to remain on site for the hour or required to work any or all of the hour after the appointed starting time. SEC. 2. Employees shall furnish their own hammers, trowels, knife, scissors, drywall saw or insulation knife, seam probe, 2” neoprene roller, tool belt, personal chalk line and a rule that is a minimum of twelve feet. All other tools and equipment shall be furnished by the Employers, including rubber boots on waterproofing work. Employees regularly employed as kettle tenders or spray- men shall be permitted to carry such extra small tools essential to their particular work. Employees may be required to wear a long sleeve shirt, long pants, gauntlet less gloves, and/or above ankle work boots when a hazard exists.

Miscellaneous Working Rules. When all employees are not able to start work because of job conditions, the Employer shall place first at work those who have their tools on the job. An employee shall not be on the job where he is employed more than thirty (30) minutes before starting time. If an employee moves tools during the regular workday, he shall be paid straight time. If tools are moved from one job to another at the end of the day, the employee shall not be paid. When all xxxxxxxxx employees are not able to start work because of job conditions, the xxxxxxx and the Union xxxxxxx shall be the first placed on the job.
Miscellaneous Working Rules. 23.1 A copy of this Agreement will be furnished to each employee. New employees shall be given a copy of this Agreement at the time of hire. Two (2) originally signed copies will be provided to UPSEU, and one (1) originally signed copy will be provided to the Unit. 23.2 There shall be participation and consultation with the Union in the formulation and modification of Personnel Policies and Regulations of the Board which directly affect the conditions of employment of those covered by this Agreement. 23.3 Written performance evaluations will be completed for each employee by May 31 of each year. 23.4 School district administration increasingly relies on electronic mail to communicate with employees. The Board will provide each employee with a school district email account, which account shall be used by the employee solely for the purpose of communicating about school district business. Employees shall check their email account daily provided that employees are given one opportunity each day to do so. Use of this email account and the Board’s computers/computer systems is governed by the Board’s Acceptable Use Policy. An employee may use his or her personal smartphones or other portable electronic device to access his or her email account during the work day subject to the Board’s Acceptable Use Policy and further provided that the employee uses sound professional judgment in choosing a time during the work day that will not have an adverse impact on meeting the educational needs of students. 23.5 The Board agrees to provide each school building with sufficient foul weather/rain gear for the Campus Supervisors (one set of foul weather gear for each Campus Supervisor assigned to the school building), which rain gear shall be worn by Campus Supervisors when required to work in inclement weather. The Board further agrees to provide each Campus Supervisor with five short sleeve uniform shirts and one sweatshirt, which shirt or sweatshirt shall be worn by each Campus Supervisor while on duty. The Board will offer each Campus Supervisor a reasonable number of replacement shirts each year. The Board agrees that within sixty (60) days of the ratification of this Agreement, it will change the color of the uniform shirt and sweatshirt to blue with white lettering. Each Campus Supervisor will promptly return the shirts and fleece upon receipt of the new shirts and sweatshirt. 23.6 At the sole discretion of school administration, an employee may be granted the opportu...

Approval shall not be given where the teacher has advance notice or in circumstances where the teacher could be reasonably expected to have foreseen the situation arising.   • Miscellaneous Benefits This Agreement is not intended, and shall not be deemed to be in lieu of any rights, benefits, and privileges to which Employee may be entitled as an Employee of Bank under any retirement, pension, profit sharing, insurance, hospital, bonus, vacation, or other plan or plans which may now be in effect or which may hereafter be adopted by Bank, it being understood that Employee shall have the same rights and privileges to participate in such plans and benefits, as any other employee, during the period of his employment.

  • Miscellaneous Transactions (A) PFPC Trust is authorized to deliver or cause to be delivered Property against payment or other consideration or written receipt therefor in the following cases: (1) for examination by a broker or dealer selling for the account of a Portfolio in accordance with street delivery custom; (2) for the exchange of interim receipts or temporary securities for definitive securities; and (3) for transfer of securities into the name of the Fund on behalf of a Portfolio or PFPC Trust or a sub-custodian or a nominee of one of the foregoing, or for exchange of securities for a different number of bonds, certificates, or other evidence, representing the same aggregate face amount or number of units bearing the same interest rate, maturity date and call provisions, if any; provided that, in any such case, the new securities are to be delivered to PFPC Trust. (B) unless and until PFPC Trust receives Oral Instructions or Written Instructions to the contrary, PFPC Trust shall: (1) pay all income items held by it which call for payment upon presentation and hold the cash received by it upon such payment for the account of each Portfolio; (2) collect interest and cash dividends received, with notice to the Fund, to the account of each Portfolio; (3) hold for the account of each Portfolio all stock dividends, rights and similar securities issued with respect to any securities held by PFPC Trust; and (4) execute as agent on behalf of the Fund all necessary ownership certificates required by the Internal Revenue Code or the Income Tax Regulations of the United States Treasury Department or under the laws of any state now or hereafter in effect, inserting the Fund's name, on behalf of a Portfolio, on such certificate as the owner of the securities covered thereby, to the extent it may lawfully do so.
