Mutual Exchange of Shifts. Subject to the following conditions, Team Members may exchange shifts on the same scheduled work day with another Team Member to accommodate special occasions:
Mutual Exchange of Shifts. (a) Mutual shift exchanges shall require the permission of the employee’s Xxxxxxx prior to the exchange taking place.
Mutual Exchange of Shifts. Subject to operational requirements, fatigue management principles, prior consent by their supervisor and the arrangement being cost neutral to AER, employees may mutually exchange shifts.
Mutual Exchange of Shifts. All exchanges of shifts will be applied for in writing two days before the exchange takes place. In no case shall a "mutual" be repaid by back- to-back shifts (i. e. 24 hours work). A "Stand-by" or "On-Call" system to cover for absenteeism, will be based on voluntary coverage, scheduled one week in advance. Each position on a 12-hour shift schedule shall have a schedule for standby coverage posted in the respective operating area, and qualified employees should sign on for those days they know they will be available for call-in coverage. This schedule shall be posted for a month in advance, and all positions for at least one week in advance would have to be filled by the preceding Thursday at 3 p.m.
Mutual Exchange of Shifts. Where agreed to by AER, Mutual exchange of shifts may occur provided they do not breach mandatory working conditions, and are cost neutral, agreed to by AER and comply with Fatigue Guidelines.
Mutual Exchange of Shifts. All exchanges of shift will be applied for in writing (forms supplied). In no case shall a "mutual" be repaid by "back to back" shifts (i.e. twenty-four (24) hours work). Mutual exchange arrangements will be made by the employees involved. The substitute will not receive pay for the hours worked nor shall the individual replaced have his pay reduced. The form for such mutual shift exchanges provided by the Company will be filled out, signed and given to the Chief Engineer for approval. The Company will ensure that such exchanges are repaid within three (3) months or a straight time deduction and payment will be made to the affected employees. An "on call" system to cover for absenteeism will be based on voluntary coverage, scheduled one (1) week in advance. Each position on a twelve (12) hour shift schedule shall have a schedule for standby coverage posted in the respective operating area. The Operating Engineer will sign on for those days that they know they will be available for call in coverage. (2012) All other articles of the Collective Article remain unchanged. (1990).
Mutual Exchange of Shifts. (a) The Company may allow an employee to switch shifts on a temporary basis. All exchanges are subject to company approval.
Mutual Exchange of Shifts. Where an employee requests a mutual exchange of shifts with another employee, there shall be no additional cost borne by the employer where the work day exceeds eight (8) hours or the work week exceeds forty (40) hours.
Mutual Exchange of Shifts. A. Upon mutual agreement, any individual patrolman may request to exchange his/her normal work shift, or portion thereof, with that of another individual patrolman, provided written notice is given to the Chief of Police or designee no later than twenty-four (24) hours prior to the commencement of the shift to be exchanged, subject to the prior approval of the Chief of Police or designee, and provided that there is no additional cost to the Borough as a result of the exchange of shifts, provided that the exchange of shifts does not significantly impair the ability of the Borough to maintain adequate police protection and/or adequate supervision of the shift, and further provided that there is no overload of the administrative functions necessary to implement the exchange of this shift. The request for the mutual exchange of shifts shall not be unreasonably denied.
Mutual Exchange of Shifts. (a) The Company recognizes that Employees may, on occasion, want to exchange shifts for personal reasons. This is an accepted practice, but it is important that proper written records are kept by the Employees of the shifts exchanged, and that the Employees’ Department Coordinator is informed.
