Organization Dues. Upon written authorization from a member of the bargaining unit, the District shall deduct from the pay of that employee the monthly amount of dues as certified by the Organization and shall deliver the dues to the treasurer of the Organization. In situations where net pay after taxes and other deductions is not enough to fund dues deductions, no deduction will be taken. In order for a deduction to be made for a given month, the authorization form must be received by the School District no later than the tenth (10th) day of said month.

Organization Dues. The BOARD agrees to deduct from the salaries of its Teachers dues for ASSOCIATION membership as said Teachers individually and voluntarily authorize the BOARD to deduct. Such deductions shall be made in compliance with Chapter 310, Public Laws of 1967 (N.J.S.A. 52:14-15.9(e)) and under rules established by the State Department of Education. Said monies, together with records of any corrections, shall be transmitted to the Membership Chairperson of the ASSOCIATION by the 15th of each month following the monthly pay period in which deductions were made. The ASSOCIATION Treasurer shall disburse such monies to the appropriate association or associations.

Organization Dues. The Board agrees to deduct Union dues or fair share fees from the pay of any employee requesting that such deduction be made. Monthly dues shall be forwarded to the State Association by Lakewood City Schools. Authorization for Union dues or fair share fees shall continue to be in effect from year to year until such time as an employee requests in writing to withdraw from deductions. The Board shall not recognize any written revocation unless such revocation is received by the Board's Treasurer on or between August 22 and August 31 of any calendar year. The amount of dues or fees to be deducted for the Union shall be designated by letter to the Board's Treasurer if the amount has changed from the previous year. All dues or fees shall be deducted in twenty-four (24) equal installments beginning October through September.

Organization Dues. Professional Organizations - The Board expects the Superintendent to continue his professional development and expects him to participate in relevant learning experiences through attendance at local, state, and national professional meetings and through membership in professional organizations. In this regard, the Board agrees to pay all professional and membership dues incurred by the Superintendent for him to participate in the Louisiana Association of School Superintendents, the American Association of School Administrators, the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, the National Council of Educational Research and Training, the Louisiana Association of School Executives, and other similar organizations approved by the Board, not to exceed $9,985 per fiscal year without specific Board approval to exceed that amount. The Superintendent shall attend such professional meetings at the local and state level as he deems appropriate but must receive approval from the Board President prior to attending any professional meeting outside the State of Louisiana. The expenses of attendance by the Superintendent at such professional meetings (as evidenced by expense vouchers) shall be paid by the Board and shall apply against the financial limitation contained in paragraph IV. B above. ·
