Overtime Vacation Rate. When an employee is required to work during his/her vacation, he/she shall receive pay at the rate of double (2) time. Hours worked while on vacation shall not be deducted from the employee's vacation credits. The Employer will make every reasonable effort not to require the employee to return to work from his/her vacation leave.

However, should an employee be required to work during his/her scheduled vacation, he/she shall be paid double the regular rate or pay granted an alternate day off for each day on which he performed any work.
