Such benefits shall be provided, without cost to the teachers, to each teacher and his/her dependents, as defined in the agreed upon specifications.

PAK AEmployees shall elect MESSA Choices II with a $1000/$2000 deductible, $20 office visit and the Saver Rx prescription card OR MESSA ABC Plan 1. The Board will contribute to the total annual cost associated with the District’s medical benefit plans an amount consistent with its elected method of compliance with Public Act 152 of 2011, being the Publicly Funded Health Insurance Contribution Act. The District will pay the maximum amount permitted by JPS’ elected method of complying with Public Act 152 of 2011, being the Publicly Funded Health Insurance Contribution Act (i.e. if the District chooses to comply with Section 3 of the Publicly Funded Health Insurance Contribution Act. If the district chooses to comply with Section 4 of the Publicly Funded Health Insurance Contribution Act, it shall contribute the maximum percentage permitted by Section 4 of the Publicly Funded Health Insurance Contribution Act). The District will contribute (for those electing MESSA ABC 1) one-half (1/2) of the deductible to employees’ Health Savings Account on September 15 and one-half on or before March 15.

Medical insurance premium costs, if any, in excess of the District’s obligation as set forth above, shall be paid by the member through payroll deduction; provided however, the LEA may, at its sole discretion, aggregate or smooth the cost of the medical insurance premium for its members. In the event that the LEA elects to do so, the LEA and the District shall meet and mutually agree upon the timing and necessary adjustments, and shall provide prior notice to affected members. Any LEA member contribution shall be made via payroll deduction in accordance with the District’s Section 125 plan. In the event that the LEA elects to aggregate or smooth the cost of the medical insurance premium for its members, the District and the LEA shall meet and review the census in January and April 2013 in order to make any necessary adjustments. b. The District and the LEA agree that the catch-up medical insurance contribution cost for LEA members for the period July 1, 2012 through August 31/September 30, 2012 is limited to the difference between the maximum amount owed by the District pursuant to Section 3 of PA 152 of 2011 and the 10% medical insurance contribution that has been paid by XXX members. This catch-up amount shall be payroll deducted from LEA members and spread over 18 pay periods, beginning October 26. Said catch-up payments shall be separately identified with each payroll. Deductions for medical contributions for September 2012/October 2012 through August 2013/September 2013 shall begin October 26 and shall continue for the next 17 pay periods. (As to the italicized/underlined dates within this subsection, subsequent to ratification, the parties shall agree upon the appropriate month/year. See Letter of Agreement Regarding Article XVI Employee- Earned Benefits).
PAK A. MESSA – ABC Plan 1 ABC RX Delta Dental Plan 80/80/80; $1,300 $15,000 Life Insurance Vision Care, VSP-2 Long Term Disability 66 2/3 of salary with 90 calendar day modified fill wait AI Rider $1250/$2500 in-network deductible ($2500/$5000 out-of network deductible) or the deductible minimum for a health benefits plan to comply with HSA eligibility, as determined by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). In the event that the IRS increases the minimum deductible amount, the above states deductible shall be adjusted to that amount. However, no increase in the minimum deductible shall result in the District exceeding the spending limitations contained in Publicly Funded Health Insurance Contribution Act (2011 Public Act 152) or any successor enactment. On January 1, 2014 the District shall deposit an amount equal to $200 less than the annual in-network deductible amount for single subscribers and $400 less than the annual in-network deductible amount for two-person and full-family subscribers into a Health Savings Account (HSA) for each bargaining unit member who enrolls in MESSA ABC Plan 1. Provided however, if a bargaining unit member has enrolled in MESSA ABC Plan 1 and is ineligible to receive the HSA contribution specified above due to limitations established by the Internal Revenue Service, the above amount that he/she would otherwise be eligible to receive shall be paid directly to the bargaining unit member as an off-schedule payment. The District’s deductible HSA contribution for new bargaining unit members shall be prorated based on the beginning date of employment. The District’s deductible HSA contribution for bargaining unit members who change enrollment from PAK B to PAK A because of a qualifying event, as defined by the Plan, shall be prorated based on the effective date of the change in coverage.

  • Bus Drivers The provisions of this Article apply to school term bus drivers except as hereinafter modified. Bus Drivers are guaranteed a base of one thousand and ninety (1090) hours per school year. Guarantee consists of 1090 hours divided by possible working days in a school year times actual number of days worked. This excludes Saturday and Sunday and General Holiday trips. (a) Regular shift is defined as the conveyance of passengers to school in the morning and home in the afternoon. (b) Extra shift is defined as the conveyance of passengers for extra-curricular activities. (c) Shifts shall be paid at a minimum of two (2) hours and drivers' time will be uninterrupted if less than one-half (½) hour remains between shifts. (i) Drivers are entitled to one 15 minute rest period after two (2) hours of work and a second rest period after six (6) hours of work. Paid waiting times of 15 minutes or more will be construed as a paid rest period regardless of the length of time spent waiting. (d) All work after nineteen hundred (1900) hours on those days on which the regular shift has been worked shall be deemed to be overtime. After twelve (12) hours from the start of the regular shift, work will be deemed as overtime. (e) Hours of work consisting of regular and extra shifts and overtime are shared as equally as possible amongst drivers. Each driver has the opportunity to choose a percentage of the work available beyond one’s guaranteed hours, although the decision of the Employer will prevail. If no drivers are available, other transportation department staff may share the work. (f) Where School District transportation is used for extra-curricular trips on Saturdays and Sundays, the following applies instead of the overtime rates in Article 10.2: (i) Time and one-half (1 ½) regular rate for driving to and from destination. (ii) Upon arrival at destination, waiting time shall be paid at the regular rate of pay. (iii) No shift will be paid less than four (4) hours. (iv) Trips that are cancelled where the driver positions into departure point/school shall be paid at two (2) hours at one and one half (1 ½) times the regular rate. (v) All work carried out in this sub paragraph 9.5(f) shall be on a volunteer basis and shared as equally as possible. All Transportation employees may participate and shall be paid at the Bus Driver rate of pay. (vi) An exception to 9.5 (f) (i) to (iv) above will apply to bus driving on ski trips. Bus drivers who drive on ski trips shall share those hours only with other registered ski trip drivers. (g) Work carried out on General Holidays shall be paid in accordance with the current contract rates. (h) At the end of each school year a review of school bus drivers’ hours of work will be made to ensure minimum guarantee is met. Any shortages will be paid out.

  • Summer Session A. All ASEs employed in the Summer Session shall receive the same general range adjustment as ASEs received in the preceding Fall term. B. The following articles apply to ASEs who are employed in the summer session: Recognition, Wages (range adjustment only), DCP, Travel, Health and Safety, Leaves, Holidays, Duration, Workspace and Instructional Support, Parking, Grievance and Arbitration, Waiver, Management and Academic Rights, No Strikes, Non-Discrimination, Union Access and Rights, Union Security, Discipline and Dismissal, Emergency Layoff, Employment Files and Evaluations, Definitions, Severability, Labor-Management Meetings, and Classifications. C. The remainder of the articles in the agreement does not apply to ASEs who are employed in the summer session. D.
