Administrative Assignment. For leave without pay or benefits on the basis of any other than personal reasons or administrative assignment (4.8.2 or 4.8.4 above), application should be made prior to February 1 for the fall semester and prior to September 1 for the spring semester. Faculty will maintain their seniority as faculty while on unpaid leave. Upon return from unpaid leave, faculty will be placed at the step they would have achieved had there been continuous faculty service.
Administrative Assignment. Terminal Supervisors may be selected by the WSDOT Ferries Division to work outside their normal weekly assigned work schedules for a period of time. Those assignments will be defined as Administrative Assignments and will be paid according to Appendix A.
Administrative Assignment. Any eligible person given an appointment with academic rank concurrent with or subsequent to administrative assignment shall acquire a continuing appointment in the same manner as otherwise herein provided, but such continuing appointment shall apply only to the position of academic rank.
Administrative Assignment. In the case of a faculty member moving to an administrative position, seniority will remain at the same level as when the faculty member moved to an administrative post. If the same faculty member returns from administration to full-time faculty assignment, seniority will continue from the level the faculty member had reached when the faculty member moved to the administrative post.
Administrative Assignment a. All unit employees, either of regular or I.O.D. status, who are administratively assigned by Police Management to Professional Standards Bureau - Administrative Services Division, which is a forty (40) hour work shift assignment will have mandatory holidays deducted as set forth in this agreement, Article V., Section II, Subsection C.
Administrative Assignment. 4.3.1 All administrative vacancies will be posted for at least ten (10) working days. The posting will contain job descriptions and qualifications. Interviews will be held as positions become vacant. At the time an administrative vacancy is initially posted, a copy of the announcement will be sent by District email to each UBA member. Administrative vacancies posted during summer recess will be sent by District email to each UBA member at the time of posting.
Administrative Assignment. The Sheriff shall place a notification in the Bulletin whenever one (1) or more of the below listed administrative assignments are to be filled. Members interested in such an assignment must submit an I.O.C. directly to the Sheriff requesting to be transferred.
Administrative Assignment. When employees are removed from fire suppression duties and assigned to an administrative assignment by the Fire Chief, they shall receive 16.5% of base pay. In addition, the leave accounts of employees assigned to an administrative assignment shall be divided by 1.4 at the time of the assignment and valued at the hourly salary rate of the administrative assignment. Any such employee who has been allocated a City-owned take home vehicle by the Fire Chief shall only receive pay of 11%. The parties agree that to the extent permitted by law, the compensation for an Administrative Assignment is special compensation and shall be reported as such pursuant to Title 2 CCR, Section 571(a)(4) Fire Staff Premium.
Administrative Assignment. The Superintendent, subject to the approval of the Board of Education, reserves the right to transfer staff at any time such reassignment appears to be in the best interest of the schools. An employee who is being transferred administratively shall be notified in writing at least five (5) working days prior to the effective date of the transfer, and shall, if requested also be entitled to a consultation prior to the transfer, except where such written notification and consultation is not possible prior to the effective date of the transfer. If it is not possible to provide such written notification and/or consultation prior to the effective date of the transfer, they shall be provided to the transferred employee as soon as possible. The consultation shall be conducted by the responsible administrator in order to discuss the reasons for the transfer and to provide an opportunity for the administrator to hear and consider the employee's views on the matter. The employee may be represented by the Union at this consultation if he/she so requests. No employee shall be administratively transferred in reprisal for the exercise of any right provided by this Agreement or applicable law.
Administrative Assignment. Effective January 1, 2021, employees who are sent home by the Assistant Director of Health Services and asked to quarantine because of exposure to COVID-19 in the workplace, will be placed on administrative assignment for the timeframe of the quarantine. A substitute will be provided for quarantine periods whenever possible. Employees on administrative assignment will work from home at the direction of their supervisor. If work from home is not feasible because of the nature of the employee’s job type, employees on administrative assignment shall be responsive to emails, complete mandatory online trainings, and professional development. Work from home will mean working locally from your primary residence. If an employee chooses not to fulfill the requirements of the administrative assignment or is unresponsive to the assignment, they will be subject to using their own accrued leave during the quarantine.
