Project Objectives and Description. This AMENDMENT includes the design, permitting, and bidding services for residuals handling improvements at the Xxxxxxxx Water Treatment Plant and Xxxxx Water Treatment Plant (WTP). The design will be based upon the recommendations of the reports Water Treatment Plant Residuals Master Plan (CDM Xxxxx, July 2013) and Draft Water Treatment Plant Residuals Preliminary Engineering Report (CDM Xxxxx, November 2013) and will include the elements identified as follows:  Xxxxx WTP • Two Concrete Backwash Equalization Tanks • Equalization Pump Station and Brick/Block Building • Two Concrete Backwash Clarifiers • Two Concrete Settled Solids Equalization Tanks • Two Concrete Gravity Thickeners • Gravity Thickener Pump Station and Brick/Block Building • Two Concrete Thickened Solids Holding Tanks • Solids Receiving (Truck Unloading) Station • Dewatering Building with Three Belt Filter Presses • Covered Cake Storage Area • SCADA System Upgrades • Filtrate Lift Station and Forcemain • Drying Bed Demolition • Access Roadways • All Appurtenances required for a complete, operable and maintainable residual process  Xxxxxxxx WTP • Two Concrete Equalization Tanks • Equalization Pump Station and Brick/Block Building • Two Concrete Backwash Clarifiers • Two Concrete Gravity Thickeners • Improvements to Existing Solids Holding Tanks • Truck Loading Pump Station and Brick/Block Building • Solids Building with Liquid Polymer Batch and Feed • Demolition at Dewatering Building, Settled Solids Buildings, and Maintenance Shed • Drying Bed Demolition • All appurtenances required for a complete operable and maintainable residual process This scope assumes that the existing Xxxxxxxx WTP decant tanks can be used with minimal improvements. The scope also assumes all pump stations will be brick and block buildings. Finally, up to 9,500 feet of off-site pipeline associated with the filtrate pump station is included. The ENGINEER will provide the following services under this Amendment:  Task 100Design Implementation and Project Meetings  Task 200 – Final Design  Task 300 – Permit Applications  Task 400 – Bidding and Award This scope of services assumes that the infrastructure improvements will be bid as a single construction contract for both plants, and also assumes the City will handle the negotiation and legal aspects of any easement acquisition directly with property owners. Project Objectives and Description. This project is designed to improve higher education institutions in Chongqing in terms of both quantity and quality. This will be achieved by providing both "hard support" (i.e. construction of school buildings, facilities, etc.) and "soft support" (i.e. conduct training, etc.) to 10 universities that play an important role in Chongqing's efforts to reduce the disparity with coastal regions, promote rural development, and reform state-owned enterprises through market reforms and economic growth. In turn, this contributes to the development of a market economy and reduction of regional disparities throughout all China. Project Objectives and Description. The objective of the Project is to assist the Recipient to develop a Readiness Preparation Proposal (R-PP), on the basis of the Readiness Plan Idea Note following the FCPF template for the R-PP. Project Objectives and Description. This project is designed to cut emissions of SO2, NOx, CO2, etc., by substituting the small coal-burning boilers used in Beijing Electronic Zone, which the Beijing Municipal People's Government is prohibiting, with cogeneration equipment that uses natural gas. The government plans to ban 102 of the 128 small coal-burning boilers currently in operation, resulting in an estimated reduction in coal consumption of 300,000 tons annually.
