RECOGNITION AND RELATIONSHIP. 2:01 The Company recognizes the Union as the sole and exclusive bargaining agency for employees in a bargaining unit to which this agreement applies, composed of all employees at its plant in Sault Ste. Xxxxx, save and except foremen, persons above the rank for foremen, office and sales staff, students employed during the school vacation period and students employed on a co-operative training basis. The term "employee" as used herein means all employees represented by the Union as above defined.
2:02 There shall be no discrimination, interference, restraint or coercion by the Company or by any of its representatives against any employee because of his membership in the Union.
2:03 The Union agrees that there shall be no intimidation, restraint or coercion exercised or practised upon employees of the Company by any of its members or representatives and further agrees that there shall be no Union activity on Company property and/or Company time except as herein provided.
2:04 The Company agrees to deduct from the pay of each employee, whether a member of the Union or not, such amounts per month as may hereafter be established as Union dues in accordance with the Constitution and By-Laws of Local 876 of the Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union. The Company will be notified by the Union of any changes. The amount so deducted and a list of employees shall be remitted to the Financial Secretary of the Local Union within ten (10) working days following such deductions. All employees shall be required, as a condition of employment, to sign a deduction authorization on the agreed upon form attached to this agreement as Appendix "A". The authorization shall remain in force subject to the conditions set forth in the authorization. Dues for new employees shall be calculated and deducted on the first reference and deduction periods. It is understood and agreed that the Union will save the Company harmless from any and all claims which may be made against it by an employee for amounts deducted from wages as herein provided.
2:05 Personnel excluded from the scope of this agreement, as defined in 2:01 above, shall not perform the work duties of the employees covered by this agreement, except for the purpose of training instruction, the installation and original start-up of new equipment or in the case of emergent situations where qualified employees who normally perform that work are not readily available.

The Committee will evaluate the progress of each apprentice and ensure that all phases of the Apprenticeship Training Program are being maintained wherever practical. The Committee will meet at least times per year, or at the request of any two if its members.

3.02 Persons whose regular jobs are not in the bargaining unit shall not work on any jobs which are included in the bargaining unit except for purposes of instructions, or in cases of emergency extenuating circumstances involving physical danger to employees or danger to property or when qualified employees are not available.
3.03 The Company will establish a Committee of four (4) people – two (2) Management and two (2) Union Representatives. The Committee will meet and discuss working conditions, productivity improvements, recommendations, quality and other areas that require consultation to enhance the effective operation of the plant. The Committee will evaluate the progress of each apprentice and ensure that all phases of the Apprenticeship Training Program are being maintained wherever practical. The Committee will meet at least 3 times per year, or at the request of any two of its members.

RECOGNITION AND RELATIONSHIP. 1.01 Siemens Power Generation, a division of Siemens Canada Limited, recognizes the Federation as the Collective Bargaining Agent for all employees of the Company classified as draftsperson, and apprentice draftsperson, save and except drafting supervisors, and students employed for school vacation periods.
1.02 In the interests of promoting understanding of the Agreement, the Company will arrange to supply employees covered by this Agreement, as well as any employees hired after the date hereof, with a copy of this Agreement.
1.03 a) The Company shall not discriminate against any employee because he/she is a member of the Federation or because of his/her Federation activities performed under the terms of this Agreement, nor shall they seek by intimidation or coercion to refrain an employee from becoming a member of the Federation.
RECOGNITION AND RELATIONSHIP. 1.01 The Board recognizes the Association as the exclusive bargaining agent for all special constables, regular and civilian members of the Belleville Police Service save and except the Chief of Police, the Deputy Chief of Police and members of the Senior Officers’ Association.
1.02 The parties hereto mutually agree that any civilian member or special constable of the Belleville Police Service may become a member of the Police Association.
1.03 The parties agree that there will be no discrimination, interference, restraint or coercion exercised or practiced by the Board or by any of its representatives with respect to any civilian member because of their membership in or connection with the Association or their eligibility to join therein will not be discouraged.
1.04 In this agreement, words importing male persons include female persons, words in the singular include the plural and words in the plural include the singular as the context requires. Throughout this agreement any reference to civilian member shall include special constables.
RECOGNITION AND RELATIONSHIP. 2.01 Pursuant to the certifications issued by the Ontario Labour Relations Board, the Company recognizes the Federation as the bargaining agent for all Design Draftspersons in the employ of the Company at Cambridge, Ontario, save and except supervisors, persons above the rank of supervisors, students employed during the school vacation period, students employed in a co-operative engineering training program, and persons regularly employed for not more than twenty-four (24) hours per week.
2.02 The word "employee" as used in this Agreement means a Design Draftsperson in the bargaining unit as defined above. The use of masculine gender shall be considered to also include the feminine gender.
(a) There shall be no discrimination by supervisors or other agents of the Company against any employee because of the employee's membership in the Federation.
(b) There shall be no discrimination by any agent of the Company in scheduling of bargaining unit members on shifts.
2.04 The Federation agrees that neither its officers, nor its members, nor persons employed directly or indirectly by the Federation, will discriminate against or intimidate employees and that there will be no Federation activity on the premises of the Company except in accordance with this Agreement or as may be mutually agreed upon in writing.
2.05 Representatives of the Company will meet with representatives of the Federation a minimum of two (2) times a year to discuss issues of importance to both parties. A written agenda of items to be discussed will be submitted by the Party proposing the discussion to the other party. In the event neither party submits an agenda prior to two weeks before the date of the meeting, the meeting will be cancelled. The parties agree that more than three (3) representatives of either or both the Federation and the Company may meet provided both parties agree prior to the date of the meeting.
2.06 The union bargaining committee will consist of a maximum of 4 members plus a legal representative as required.
RECOGNITION AND RELATIONSHIP. 2.01 The Company recognizes the Union as the sole collective bargaining agent for all employees of the Company at Walkerton, save and except supervisor, persons above the rank of supervisor, office and sales staff, part-time employees, probationary employees, and students employed during the school vacation period.
2.02 The parties hereto mutually agree that any employee of the Company covered by this agreement may become a member of the Union if they wish to do so, and may refrain from becoming a member of the Union if they so desire.
2.03 The Union will not engage in Union activities during working hours or hold meetings at any time on the premises of the Company without the permission of the Production Supervisor.
2.04 The Company shall pay 50% of the cost of printing the collective agreement.
