Leave for Collective Bargaining. The Employer shall grant Leave of Absence with pay to a maximum of six (6) employees elected or appointed by the membership to represent the Union in negotiations with the Employer.
Leave for Collective Bargaining. For meetings with NAV CANADA under 3.04, up to four (4) members of the Collective Bargaining Committee shall be granted leave without pay.
Leave for Collective Bargaining. Upon application to and upon receiving the permission of the Employer in each specific case, the official representatives of the Union shall be granted time for the purpose of collective bargaining with the Employer. It is understood that no more than three (3) such official representatives shall be granted leave of absence without loss of pay or seniority for the time so spent. Further official representatives may be granted leave of absence without pay.

The serving of notice on the Board requesting meetings as provided for in the Labour Code of British Columbia followed by notification from the Board’s Agent of the time and place of bargaining meetings will automatically excuse with pay the members of the Union negotiating committee.

The Employer shall pay for time spent in negotiations as scheduled by the parties. Leave for collective bargaining will not be considered as leave for Union business.
Leave for Collective Bargaining. The Employer agrees to recognize one (1) employee selected by the Union to represent the employees on the Union Bargaining Committee. The Employer agrees to recognize two (2) such employees if there are six (6) or more employees in the bargaining unit. Said employee(s) shall be granted leave with pay to attend any meetings with the employer in connection with negotiations, but not including Conciliation or Mediation meetings.
Leave for Collective Bargaining. The Employer shall grant leave of absence without loss of pay, benefits and seniority for three (3) members of the Union Bargaining Committee for the purposes of negotiating a renewed collective agreement. It is understood that there will be no overtime paid. In the event the bargaining unit increases above one hundred and fifty (150) employees, the Company agrees to grant leave of absence without loss of pay, benefits and seniority for one (1) additional Union Bargaining Committee Member. The above days off with pay per member of the bargaining committee will be capped at a total of 7 paid days for each committee member.
Leave for Collective Bargaining. Collective bargaining shall be scheduled at mutually convenient times and locations. Members of the Union bargaining team shall be permitted to attend bargaining meetings without loss of pay when scheduled during their regular shift. If requested by the City Manager, or designee, to meet for a labor relations purpose, representatives of the Union (not to exceed four (4)) shall be released from duty without loss of pay if said meeting is scheduled when on duty. The Union will attempt to schedule bargaining meetings at times when the fewest members of the bargaining team are scheduled to work.
Leave for Collective Bargaining. The City shall grant leave of absence with pay to a combined maximum of three (3) employees of the 1760 bargaining units elected or appointed to represent the Union in formal collective bargaining meetings with the City, or as otherwise approved by the General Manager, Transit Services or designate.
