Relationship principles. 7.1 You will, in your interactions with us and Participating Agencies, adopt a working approach that is collaborative, open, transparent, ethical and honest. You need to act in an open and ethical manner and comply with some conduct requirements.
Relationship principles. 2.1 Te Whatu Xxx and the Provider agree to:
(a) work with each other in good faith and in a spirit of cooperation and collaboration, recognising the benefits to be gained from sharing knowledge and expertise; 1 This is consistent with the health sector principle in section 7(e) of the Xxx Xxx (Healthy Futures) Act 2023.
(b) commit to open, honest and transparent communications, including to capture feedback in a timely way to improve the delivery and evaluation of the MAS; and
(c) act in accordance with the Crown's principles for action on Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
Relationship principles. The following principles will guide the Supplier and HBDHB in their relationship under this Agreement:
(a) integrity – the Parties will act honestly and in good faith;
(b) good communication – the Parties will listen, talk and engage with each other openly and promptly, including via clear and timely written communication;
(c) enablement – the Parties will seek to enable one another to meet each Party's respective objectives and commitments to achieve positive outcomes for communities and consumers of health and disability services;
(d) trust and cooperation – the Parties will work in a cooperative and constructive manner, recognising each other's viewpoints and respecting each other's differences, and will use reasonable endeavours to work together to resolve any issues that may arise in relation to the Services;
(e) accountability – the Parties will recognise the accountabilities that each have to their respective and mutual clients and stakeholders;
(f) innovation – the Parties will encourage new approaches and creative solutions to achieve positive outcomes for communities and consumers of health and disability services;
(g) quality improvement – the Parties will work cooperatively with each other to achieve quality health and disability services that result in positive outcomes for consumers of health and disability services.
Relationship principles. The parties share a common interest in the appropriate management of suspected child abuse and neglect including prevention and child protection.

Equally, the Purchasers acknowledge that the Provider has its own strategic and policy directions. e The Purchasers recognise the Provider’s right to maintain its clinical and business autonomy. f Both parties agree that clinical interventions should be based on the best evidence available at the time. g Both parties will respect and maintain patient confidentiality. h Both parties recognise and value the other’s skills and expertise and commitment to high quality performance. i Both parties will negotiate and implement agreements in good faith and respect, and trust the other to work together to find solutions to problems. j Both parties will communicate directly with each other, openly and in a timely manner. k Both parties will work in a co-operative and constructive manner, and where appropriate undertake joint projects. l Both parties will encourage continuing quality improvement and innovative service development to achieve the objectives of both parties to the extent possible within available funding.
Relationship principles. Recognizing their interdependence, the parties will adopt and follow a proactive, collaborative and responsive approach to:
(i) establish clear lines of communication and responsibility;
(ii) develop clear and achievable performance obligations;
(iii) focus on ongoing performance improvement and risk management; and
(iv) resolve issues in a diligent, proactive and timely manner, all based on the practice of early notice.
Relationship principles. 3.1.1 This Agreement is to be interpreted in light of the principles set out in this clause. To the extent that a clause in this Agreement can be given a meaning that is consistent with the principles set out below, that meaning is to be preferred.

Relationship principles. The governance entity and the Secretary agree to abide by the following relationship principles when implementing this agreement and exercising their various roles and functions: • working in a spirit of co-operation; • operating a ‘no surprises’ approach; • acknowledging that the relationship is evolving, not prescribed; • respecting the independence of the parties and their individual mandates, roles and responsibilities; and • recognising and acknowledging that parties benefit from working together by sharing their vision, knowledge and expertise.

It consists of the Ministry’s purpose, values, principles and outcomes – all of which come together to guide our approach to shaping a platform for change and providing long-term kaitiakitanga (stewardship) of the housing and urban development system. Our Kaupapa will help us deliver our ambitious work programme in the short term to address real needs now, while progressing fundamental system reforms so our cities and communities can grow well over time. The PSA’s principles and HUD’s Our Kaupapa will be considered by both parties when making decisions that affect members. Where an issue is not resolved via this clause, the parties will use the Employment Relationship Problems clause (clause 11.7) as a next step towards resolution.
