RESPONSIBILITIES OF EMPLOYEES. All employees have a responsibility for a positive commitment to equal opportunity. Employees must:
a. Treat all fellow employees as peers, and abstain from actions or comments that suggest or imply discriminatory attitudes.
b. Become aware of EO goals, objectives, and principles in order to assist in making the Air Force EO Program credible and effective.
c. When EO complaints and class action allegations are being processed, furnish prompt and accurate responses to inquiries without fear of reprisal.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF EMPLOYEES. 6.7.1 All Employees should become familiar with and act in accordance with Washington Administrative Codes (WACs) Chapter 180-44 which speaks to the responsibility and duties of Certificated Employees.
6.7.2 The District shall hold building level meetings for Employees concerning these and other applicable state rules and regulations. These meetings shall be held during the first 30 days of school at no cost to the Employees or the Association. Copies of all the discussed rules and regulations shall be made available to all Employees.
6.7.3 Discretion should be used by all employees in making classroom visitations during instruction time to minimize and, where possible, to avoid disruption of the instructional program and/or work assignment of either the visitor or visitee. Employees generally prefer advance notice prior to visitations. Visits other than those involving regular collegial work must be approved by the building or program administrator.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF EMPLOYEES. Employees are required:
(1) To do all work to the best of their ability, skill and competence as required.
(2) To carry out their work at places directed by the Employer.
(3) To comply with the Employer's policies, practices or procedures as varied from time to time.
(4) To do their best to promote, and not harm, the Employer's and the Operator's business, interests and reputation.
(5) To apply care and common sense in performing work for the Employer.
(6) To not absent themselves from the workplace without the Employer's permission. An absence from work for a continuous period exceeding three (3) working days without notification to the Employer will be prima facie evidence that the employee has abandoned his or her employment.
(7) To advise the Employer as early as possible of their inability to attend for work due to illness or injury, prior to the commencement of their engagement. The employee is required to produce satisfactory proof for any absence of two days or more due to illness or injury.
(8) To comply with the Employer's hygiene standards at all times.
(9) Without limiting the above, slaughterers shall remove hides free of cuts and tears with no contamination or damage to the carcase using procedures acceptable to the Employer, Prime Safe, AQIS and Ausmeat.
(10) To comply with all of the Employer's reasonable instructions in order to protect both their employee's own health and safety and the health and safety of other employees and any other person having dealings at the Facility.
(11) As a part of our commitment to providing safe working environment and meeting our duty of care to yourself it may be required that you participate in a functional assessment or case conference regarding the appropriateness of your existing classification. We will meet the cost of any assessments and will review the assessment in terms of meeting our obligations.
(12) To not smoke cigarettes or other tobacco or similar substances on site, which includes all property and vehicles owned by, or under the control of, the Employer, other than in designated smoking areas.
(13) To uphold the Employer's zero tolerance requirement regarding drugs and alcohol or any other substance which may affect the employee's ability to work.
(14) To not take or possess alcohol or illegal drugs while at work. The Employees must inform the Employer, prior to commencing work, if they are under the influence of drugs (prescribed or unprescribed), alcohol, or any other substance which may ...
RESPONSIBILITIES OF EMPLOYEES. Section 1 The Employee must accept reasonable responsibility for the tools furnished by the Employer and must report the loss or damage of any of these tools immediately to their supervisor. The Employer may require an Employee to replace lost, stolen, or damaged tools.
Section 2 An Employee found deliberately misusing Employer tools, equipment or property, may be subject to discipline which may include dismissal. This will include, through negligence, the non-use of safety attachments on tools. Adequate safety protection is to be provided by the Employer for all tools and equipment. Responsibility for normal wear and tear of tools, equipment or property supplied by the Employer is accepted by the Employer on return of broken or worn tools, equipment or property.
Section 3 Employees shall adhere to all duties, conditions, responsibilities, and terms of employment posted or published from time to time as may be the case by the Employer, providing they are not inconsistent with this Collective Agreement.
Section 4 Employees shall, as early as possible, upon recognition of an injury or illness, report all work related injuries/illnesses to their Supervisor. Injured or ill Employees shall provide all reasonable cooperation and assistance in the preparation and management of their claims (i.e. attendance, returning calls, keep appointments, etc.) All Employees shall provide reasonable cooperation and assistance in any incident investigation.
Section 5 Unless otherwise pre-agreed with the immediate Supervisor, it is the duty of every Employee to be available for the full duration of every regularly scheduled shift. An Employee who will not be at work due to illness or other reasons must notify their Supervisor prior to the start of the shift. For absences of three (3) or more days due to illness, the Employer may request the Employee to provide a note from an authorized medical provider. In such cases the Employer will pay for the cost of the note, statement or forms up to a maximum of eighty dollars ($80.00), with receipt. Any Employee that cannot complete their shift must notify their Supervisor.
