Safety Control. 7.1.1 Before each use of the vehicle, the user shall provide basic safety controls are considered in the present article: (i) durableness of the tires; (II) the safe operation of all brakes and lights; and (III) condition sufficiency of the Scooter fleet; ( (iv) sufficient charging power; and (V) any signs of damage, unusual or excessive abrasion, or other mechanical problems that can be clearly seen/maintenance requirements. 7.1.2 The USER agrees that s/he will not use the Vehicle in case of any conspicuous situation and will immediately report this situation to the BİNBİN customer service. 7.1.3 If the USER starts using the Vehicle that is not suitable for use, s/he has the right to return it for free within 2 minutes. In this case, s/he can lease another Vehicle from the system for free. If there is no other Vehicle close to the USER or suitable to use, the USER cannot be charged. However, if the Vehicle is used despite being defective and/or the situation is not reported, the USER cannot request a refund later. In addition to that, the USER who receives the damaged Vehicle does not immediately notify BİNBİN in writing of this situation, and the USER is solely responsible for any damages that may arise if an accident occurs during this trip.

Safety Control. The Consultant confirms the adequacy of safety control plan prepared by the Contractor, confirms the actual implementation of the plan, and supervises the works in and around the Project sites to prevent labor accidents and accidents involving outsiders during execution of works. Safety control shall be executed using the following means: • Confirmation of the development of safety control plan and appointment of safety manager by the Contractor • Confirmation of the adequacy of the formulated safety control plan and appointed a person –in-charge for safety control • Confirmation of actual implementation of safety control plan • Confirmation of the adequacy of the planned operation routes of construction vehicles and precautions in vehicle operation, and confirmation of compliance to the plan • Confirmation of worker welfare programs and provision of holidays and rest times In addition, the Consultant must employ local engineers for the following activities and use the local engineers in combination with the above-mentioned Japanese engineers in the implementation of construction supervision. • To monitor the progress of facility construction on the site of each construction work under the guidance of Japanese engineers • To participate in discussion of details with relevant organizations, test and analysis organizations, organizations issuing design guidelines, etc. under the guidance of Japanese engineers • To act as the major counterpart of Japanese engineers and learn the methods for construction supervision and materials and equipment procurement supervision
Safety Control. 9.1 The following instructions are to be strictly adhered to: 9.1.1 No flammable materials shall be brought into or used within the Facilities. 9.1.2 The Hirer shall not remove obstruct conceal or tamper with any of the fire appliances which are placed around the School 9.1.3 The Hirer shall comply with any directions given by the Director of Operations or any other authorised member of the School staff or representative of the Chief Fire Officer in relation to any works carried out or activities carried on in the School which may increase the risk of fire and will provide any necessary additional fire appliances as directed and shall treat with suitable fireproofing substances any materials that need to be so treated. 9.1.4 All designated fire exits (both the route and the doors themselves) are to be kept free of obstruction and unlocked at all times when the School is in use. The Hirer will comply immediately with an instruction from the Operations Director or any other authorised member of the School staff or representative of the Chief Fire Officer in relation to any obstruction of a fire exit route or door. 9.2 The Hirer shall be responsible during the period of hire for the efficient supervision of Facilities together with the effective control of children and the orderly and safe admission and departure of persons to and from the Facilities and the preservation of good order and decency. 9.3 The right of entry to the School at all times is reserved to any duly authorised member of the School staff, Police, Fire Service or the Licensing Authority. 9.5 The maximum permitted number of persons for a particular function will be that stated on page 1 of this booking form. 9.6 The Hirer, his employees, agents and contractors shall comply with all reasonable requirements and requests of the Company or any authorised member of School staff. 9.7 Under no circumstances whatsoever are naked flames allowed in any part of the buildings. 9.8 Smoking is not permitted within any part of the School other than with the clearly marked designated smoking areas. 9.9 All scenery and costumes used for performances or the like must be fireproofed. 9.10 NO SMOKE MACHINES are to be used within the Facilities 9.11 Electrical Safety - All electric appliances brought into the Facilities should bear a current Portable Appliance Test “pass” label.   • Quality Control A. Controlled Affiliate agrees to use the Licensed Marks and Name only in connection with the licensed services and further agrees to be bound by the conditions regarding quality control shown in attached Exhibit A as they may be amended by BCBSA from time-to-time. B. Controlled Affiliate agrees to comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws. C. Controlled Affiliate agrees that it will provide on an annual basis (or more often if reasonably required by Plan or by BCBSA) a report or reports to Plan and BCBSA demonstrating Controlled Affiliate’s compliance with the requirements of this Agreement including but not limited to the quality control provisions of this paragraph and the attached Exhibit A. D. Controlled Affiliate agrees that Plan and/or BCBSA may, from time-to-time, upon reasonable notice, review and inspect the manner and method of Controlled Affiliate’s rendering of service and use of the Licensed Marks and Name. E. As used herein, a Controlled Affiliate is defined as an entity organized and operated in such a manner, that it meets the following requirements: (1) A Plan or Plans authorized to use the Licensed Marks in the Service Area of the Controlled Affiliate pursuant to separate License Agreement(s) with BCBSA, other than such Controlled Affiliate’s License Agreement(s), (the “Controlling Plan(s)”), must have the legal authority directly or indirectly through wholly-owned subsidiaries to select members of the Controlled Affiliate’s governing body having not less than 50% voting control thereof and to: (a) prevent any change in the articles of incorporation, bylaws or other establishing or governing documents of the Controlled Affiliate with which the Controlling Plan(s) do(es) not concur; (b) exercise control over the policy and operations of the Controlled Affiliate at least equal to that exercised by persons or entities (jointly or individually) other than the Controlling Plan(s); and Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in (a) through (b) hereof, the Controlled Affiliate’s establishing or governing documents must also require written approval by the Controlling Plan(s) before the Controlled Affiliate can: (i) change its legal and/or trade names; (ii) change the geographic area in which it operates; (iii) change any of the type(s) of businesses in which it engages; (iv) create, or become liable for by way of guarantee, any indebtedness, other than indebtedness arising in the ordinary course of business; (v) sell any assets, except for sales in the ordinary course of business or sales of equipment no longer useful or being replaced; (vi) make any loans or advances except in the ordinary course of business; (vii) enter into any arrangement or agreement with any party directly or indirectly affiliated with any of the owners or persons or entities with the authority to select or appoint members or board members of the Controlled Affiliate, other than the Plan or Plans (excluding owners of stock holdings of under 5% in a publicly traded Controlled Affiliate); (viii) conduct any business other than under the Licensed Marks and Name; (ix) take any action that any Controlling Plan or BCBSA reasonably believes will adversely affect the Licensed Marks and Name. In addition, a Plan or Plans directly or indirectly through wholly owned subsidiaries shall own at least 50% of any for-profit Controlled Affiliate. (2) A Plan or Plans authorized to use the Licensed Marks in the Service Area of the Controlled Affiliate pursuant to separate License Agreement(s) with BCBSA, other than such Controlled Affiliate’s License Agreement(s), (the “Controlling Plan(s)”), have the legal authority directly or indirectly through wholly-owned subsidiaries to select members of the Controlled Affiliate’s governing body having more than 50% voting control thereof and to: (a) prevent any change in the articles of incorporation, bylaws or other establishing or governing documents of the Controlled Affiliate with which the Controlling Plan(s) do(es) not concur; (b) exercise control over the policy and operations of the Controlled Affiliate.   • Traffic Control The Surveyor shall control traffic in and near surveying operations adequately to comply with provisions of the latest edition of the Texas Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices – Part VI which can be found on the State’s internet site. In the event field crew personnel must divert traffic or close traveled lanes, a Traffic Control Plan based upon principles outlined in the latest edition of the Texas Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices – Part VI shall be prepared by the Surveyor and approved by the State prior to commencement of field work. A copy of the approved plan shall be in the possession of field crew personnel on the job site at all times and shall be made available to the State’s personnel for inspection upon request.

  • Job Control Personal Data being processed on commission (i.e., Personal Data processed on a customer’s behalf) is processed solely in accordance with the Agreement and related instructions of the customer.

  • Safety Glasses Section 1. The City shall supply prescription safety glasses with plastic lenses to employees who are required to wear safety glasses and who are members of the classifications contained in Appendix C to this contract. Safety glasses which are authorized must be industrial grade safety glasses which meet or exceed the requirements of ANSI Specification Z87. 1. All employees who are required to wear safety glasses shall also be required to wear side xxxxxxx, either permanent or snap-on, whenever an eye hazard exists. Solid tinted glasses will not be approved unless required by prescription. Photogray, progressive, scratch coating and/or anti-glare lenses may be considered for those employees who primarily work outdoors or as prescribed. In the event that additional classes are identified as needing either prescription safety glasses or protective eyewear, such classes may be added to the classification list in Appendix C upon approval of PAGE and the City. Section 2. The City agrees to pay the full cost of required prescription safety glasses, with frames not to exceed $75.00. This excludes the cost of the eye examination which will be the responsibility of the employee. The effected employees will be allowed one (1) replacement of safety glasses every two (2) years. In the event the safety glasses become lost, unserviceable, or broken on the job, the employee must present a written request for replacement to the Department Head and Human Resources Director. If the employee breaks his safety glasses while on the job, the Department shall replace the glasses at no cost to the employee. The replacement of lost glasses or glasses that are broken off the job will be at the discretion of the Department Head and Human Resources Director. If an employee has been provided safety glasses by the City, the employee shall be permitted to retain possession of the glasses after separation from the City without reimbursing the City for any costs associated with the glasses. Section 3. An employee who is required to wear prescription safety glasses must present a written request to his department head or designated representative. Section 4. The employee must obtain a current prescription and the employee is authorized the use of sick leave not to exceed two (2) hours to accomplish this examination. The employee will obtain a purchase order from the Department Head prior to ordering the safety glasses. The employee will present the purchase order to the appropriate vendor when ordering. The vendor will contact the appropriate Department Head when the glasses are ready for delivery. The Department Head will then notify the employee who will present himself at the vendor for fitting and pickup. Section 5. In the event a probationary employee has been issued safety glasses and terminates his employment with the City for any reason during the probationary period, he shall be required to reimburse the City for any expenses incurred in the purchase of safety glasses.

  • Safety Boots Each employee, after 3 months’ continuous service, will be reimbursed (on production of a receipt), the cost of one pair of safety boots (approved by the employer), in each year, to a maximum of $110.00. All protective clothing such as wet weather jackets, safety helmets, welding jackets, welding xxxxxxx, welding gauntlets, rubber boots, etc, (which remain the property of the Company), will be supplied on all occasions deemed necessary.

  • Safety Shoes 3901 Employees who are required to wear steel-toed safety shoes will receive $200 toward the purchase and/or replacement of these shoes in the first quarter of each year. Any employee out on an authorized leave shall receive payment within thirty days of their return to paid duty. New employees who are required to wear steel- toed safety shoes will receive $200 toward the purchase of shoes in their first paycheck; for employees hired on or after December 1, he/she shall not receive an additional $200 in the first quarter.

  • Safety Footwear Employees who are required by the Employer to wear safety footwear, shall be reimbursed for actual footwear costs to a maximum of $175.00 (tax inc.) per year.

  • Safety Compliance Comply with Site safety programs, as they apply to RPR, and if required to do so by such safety programs, receive safety training specifically related to RPR’s own personal safety while at the Site.

  • Safety Issues The customer is responsible for maintaining local code compliances regarding safety issues including, but not limited to, fencing, gates, electrical, etc.

  • Quality Assurance/Quality Control Contractor shall establish and maintain a quality assurance/quality control program which shall include procedures for continuous control of all construction and comprehensive inspection and testing of all items of Work, including any Work performed by Subcontractors, so as to ensure complete conformance to the Contract with respect to materials, workmanship, construction, finish, functional performance, and identification. The program established by Contractor shall comply with any quality assurance/quality control requirements incorporated in the Contract.
