Safety Insurance. (a) An Employee without accumulated sick leave who is unable to perform the Employee’s regular duties because of a condition compensable under the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act shall receive such benefits as awarded by the W.S.I.B..
(b) An Employee who, on the date of a compensable accident, had accumulated sick leave available shall continue to receive full salary and Employee benefits until such time as the sick leave accumulation is depleted. Upon the depletion of sick leave, the Employee shall receive only those benefits to which the Employee is entitled by W.S.I.B. regulations and/or Long Term Disability benefits under the Employee’s L.T.D. Plan.
(c) During the period of time that the Employee is in receipt of W.S.I.B. benefits and the Employer is continuing to pay full salary, the Employer shall deduct from the Employee’s accumulated sick leave the equivalent of .5 of a day for each day of absence.
(d) When an Employee, who is in receipt of W.S.I.B. benefits has depleted the Employee’s accumulated sick leave account, the Employee may become eligible for Long Term Disability benefits subject to the terms and conditions of the Employee’s Long Term Disability Plan.
(e) The Employee will comply with all directions given by W.S.I.B. as it relates to the benefit program. Failure to comply will result in the stoppage of any further payments by the Employer to the Employee.

Safety Insurance. The safety of Ramco personnel rendering Service at Customer site shall rest with the Customer. Customer shall at all times maintain adequate insurance cover against any accident, bodily injury or such other applicable cover to protect Ramco Personnel working at Customer Site.

The Grantee shall be responsible for initiating, maintaining, and supervising all safety precautions and programs in connection with its services or performance of its operations under this agreement. The Grantee shall comply, and will require its contractors (if any) to comply, with all applicable laws, ordinances, rules, regulations, standards and lawful orders from authorities bearing on the safety of persons or property or their protection from damage, injury or loss. The Grantee shall take all reasonable precautions for the safety of all employees and all persons whom the Grantee suffers to be on the properties or working on the Project, and any materials, and equipment on the properties under the care, custody and/or control of the Grantee or its contractors. Grantee shall maintain adequate insurance to cover claims, liabilities, and damages arising from Grantee and any of its contractors’ activities related to the Project.
Safety Insurance. Section 1: The Town will provide insurance through the Group Insurance Commission (GIC) a previously agreed upon by the union through June 30, 2019. Section 2: All retired Full-time firefighters are eligible to continue under the Town’s group life insurance plan for the maximum allowable benefit, as well as the appropriate health insurance program, provided the premium is paid by the retiree to the Town in advance of the due date.
Section 3: Further, the Town agrees to provide, in writing, to all employees covered under this Agreement the terms and provisions of any and all other insurances provided by either the Town or the Fire Department, which provide coverage for said employees. In addition, copies of all retirement benefits and any other benefits for which employees are eligible are to be provided also.
Section 4: The employer and the employees agree to cooperate to the fullest extent in the promotion of safety. Situations and/or equipment found to be unsafe shall be corrected as soon as possible so as to prevent unnecessary and needless injuries.
Section 5: The Town agrees to pay one half (1/2) of the cost each year for each employee covered by this Agreement, toward an individual membership at the Xxxxx Memorial. The employee must use the facility at least twice a week, sick and vacation time excluded. If the employee fails to use the membership as stated, the Town shall discontinue payment of this benefit to said employee.
Section 6: Each employee shall take and pass an annual physical fitness test to be administered by the Fire Chief, during an employee's regular tour of duty.
