Safety Responsibility. It is the responsibility of the City to provide and maintain safe working conditions, tools, equipment and work methods for its employees. No member of the Union shall be disciplined in any manner for initiating a complaint and/or grievance regarding safety and/or the environmental conditions of his quarters. Members shall notify Fire Department Administration through the chain of command prior to filing a complaint with the Union Safety Committee. The City shall make every effort to implement recommendations that come from joint quarterly Management and Union Safety Committee Meetings.
Safety Responsibility. XXXX contractor shall be solely responsible for job site safety and shall report any and all job site accidents, including both injury accidents and non-injury accidents, to the Owner immediately after the accident becomes known to the XXXX contractor. XXXX contractor shall have full and sole authority for all safety programs and precautions in connection with the Work. XXXX contractor shall use all reasonable efforts to protect the Owner against any deviations or defects in the completed construction Work. XXXX contractor shall use all reasonable efforts to protect the Owner, students, faculty, employees and other staff, and visitors from personal injury and property damage. XXXX contractor shall have full authority to take any action whatsoever on the site regarding safety precautions and procedures. XXXX contractor shall adhere to all construction safety requirements, the Owner’s Interim Life Safety Measures and Minimum Contractor Requirements, incorporated into this Agreement by reference, and the Owner’s Infection Control Risk Assessments (ICRA) policies and procedures when performing Work pursuant to this Agreement. The Owner maintains a tobacco free environment. XXXX contractor shall ensure its personnel and subcontractors observe this tobacco free requirement at all times whenever on the Project site.

Design-Builder shall use all reasonable efforts to protect the Manager and its employees and visitors from personal injury and property damages. Design-Builder shall have full authority to take any action whatsoever on the site regarding safety precautions and procedures.
Safety Responsibility. The parties, hereto, agree that a successful health and safety program depends on a cooperative effort among the parties, and the active participation in and support of safe working practices. In recognition of these shared responsibilities, the parties hereto agree to assume active roles in maintaining a viable safety and health program; cooperate in promoting safety; and encourage fellow workers to observe safety rules while performing their duties.

Indemnify and hold harmless the ClTY and the City's Manager or designee, including the ENGINEER, for any safety violation, or noncompliance with governing bodies and their regulations, and for accidents, deaths, injuries, or damage at the site during occupancy or partial occupancy of the site by CONTRACTOR'S forces while performing any part of the Work.

Safety Responsibility. During construction, Party B shall work out related safety rules which shall be strictly followed and prevent any things in the nature of violating the basic three work safety rules. Should an injury on duty happen, Party A should give help in immediate rescue. All responsibilities and expenses shall be shouldered by Party B.
Safety Responsibility. The ESCO’s and Subcontractors’ employees, suppliers, and agents shall, when about the jobsite, observe and comply with the strictest of the applicable laws and any regulations prescribed by School District or as set forth in the Contract Documents. The School District reserves the right to assign job specific safety requirements in the Project bid specifications. The assignment of safety responsibility on each Project site (unless otherwise specified by the School District of Philadelphia) shall be as follows:
(a) The ESCO shall assume responsibility for overall site safety coordination and shall perform its safety responsibility on the Project through a competent Superintendent who shall be acceptable to the School District. The Superintendent of the ESCO must have at least attended a 10-Hour OSHA Construction Outreach Program and have an up-to-date CPR and First Aid Certification. The Superintendent of the ESCO shall be on site daily. The ESCO shall supply an alternate Superintendent if this individual is on vacation, out sick, etc. The Superintendent of the ESCO shall be responsible for the implementation and enforcement of the safety requirements set forth in the Contract Documents, OSHA, and the School District’s health and safety program, guidelines, procedures, and requirements by all employees on site. The Superintendent of the ESCO shall have the authority to stop work if an imminent danger situation occurs.
(b) Each Subcontractor shall perform its safety responsibility on the Project through a competent xxxxxxx or superintendent. The xxxxxxx or superintendent of the Subcontractor shall be responsible for the implementation and enforcement of the safety requirements set forth in the Contract Documents, OSHA, and the School District’s health and safety program, guidelines, procedures, and requirements by its employees on site. If at any one time the Subcontractor intends to or does have forty (40) or more employees on the jobsite for a period of twenty (20) consecutive work days or more (“high employment”), such Subcontractor’s xxxxxxx or superintendent shall be present on the jobsite on a full-time basis to ensure the safety of its employees and operations during the period of such high employment. The ESCO and each Subcontractor shall be responsible for the payment of all fines and/or claims for damages levied against them for safety or environmental deficiencies related to the conduct of their employees or Work.
