Schedule of Evaluation. 1. For those teachers who are on limited or extended limited contracts pursuant to ORC 3319.11 and who are under consideration for nonrenewal, one (1) evaluation consisting of at least three (3) formal observations must be conducted by May 1 of the year their contract expires.
2. The evaluation cycle shall be completed no later than May 1, and the teacher being evaluated shall receive a written report of the results of said evaluation cycle, through OhioES Portal including the determined final holistic rating of teacher effectiveness, no later than May 10th.
Schedule of Evaluation. 1. No teacher shall be subject to more than one (1) Evaluation Cycle per school year.
2. The evaluation cycle shall be completed no later than May 1, and the teacher shall receive the final written report of the cycle, including the assigned evaluation rating, not later than May 10.

b. The evaluation shall be completed no later than the first day of May (May 1), and the teacher being evaluated shall receive a written report of the results of this evaluation, including the assigned evaluation rating, not later than the tenth (10th) day of May (May 10).
c. If the Board has entered into a limited contract or an extended limited contract with a teacher, counselor, or speech and language pathologist pursuant to Section §3319.11 of the Ohio Revised Code, the Board shall perform a minimum of three (3) formal observations during the evaluation cycle in any school year in which the Board may wish to declare its intention not to re-employ a teacher, counselor, or speech and language pathologist pursuant to division (B), (C) (3), (D), or (E) of §3319.11.

For teachers under consideration for the awarding of a continuing contract (see Article 9, A., 2., (f) (1)) who are in an “off-year” for evaluations as described in Section S. below, such teachers shall, in that year for which they are being so considered, be fully evaluated on the teacher performance component in accordance with the specifications of this Article. Such evaluation shall be noted in the personnel file as only being applicable to the consideration for continuing contract status and shall not be entered into the eTPES system.

4. Teachers on multiple-year contracts that have received an accomplished or skilled rating shall be granted the right to carry forth the rating accordingly, even during contract renewal years, and in accordance with OTES policy and language. Therefore, any teacher carrying forth a previous year’s rating, and who is up for contract renewal, will require one observation, one SGM, and one walkthrough.

Schedule of Evaluation. A. Each tenured employee will be evaluated on a two-year schedule. If an administrator finds it necessary to evaluate a tenured employee who received a rating of “satisfactory” (2011-2012 only) or “proficient” or higher in the previous year, the administrator shall notify such tenured employee in writing stating the cause for such additional evaluation. No “proficient” or “excellent” employee will be evaluated more than one time in any one year. Each non-tenured employee shall be evaluated once each year until tenured. A tenured employee who receives a rating of “unsatisfactory” and successfully completes remediation or a tenured employee who receives a rating of “needs improvement” will be evaluated once in the year following receipt of the rating. Tenured employees under remediation will be evaluated according to the remediation plan which shall not be limited to the procedures set forth in this Article 8. Tenured employees most recently evaluated as “proficient” or “excellent” who were not evaluated in the prior school year and who have been informed that they will not be evaluated in the current school year, shall have the right to be evaluated if they so request. Tenured employees who were rated “proficient” or “excellent” in their last evaluation of the prior school year may ask to be evaluated in the current school year, with the evaluation to be conducted at the discretion of the evaluator. Each building administrator will develop a schedule of evaluations for the employees assigned to his/her building. The administrator may alter the schedule if, for reasons such as transfers, attrition, retirement and the like, the number of employees to be evaluated over a two-year period would be substantially unequal.
B. No later than the first day of student attendance, and before any pre-observation conference or any observation takes place in any school term, the building principal or evaluators shall conduct a meeting(s) to inform the faculty as a whole about the evaluation procedures, standards and instruments to be used. This in- service may be district-wide and/or building meeting(s). Arrangements will be made to in-service any employee absent from the district/building meeting prior to his/her evaluation. The employee, during the first pre-observation conference, shall notify the evaluator if he/she has not received this in-service.
Schedule of Evaluation. For those counselors who are on limited or extended limited contracts pursuant to ORC 3319.11 and who are under consideration for nonrenewal must have at least three (3) formal observations and be conducted annually by May 1. See Master Agreement Article III: Unit Member Conditions #3c Non-Renewal of Contract.

2. Teachers will be observed under the following guidelines:
a. In the year when a teacher’s contract expires, three (3) formal observations shall be conducted. The observations should last a minimum of thirty (30) minutes and be reasonably balanced so that they take place throughout the school year. The administration may waive the right to observe teachers. However, under no circumstances shall a teacher’s contract be non-renewed unless a minimum of three (3) observations have been completed.
b. In any year when a teacher’s contract does not expire, two (2) formal observations shall be completed. The observations should last a minimum of thirty (30) minutes and be reasonably balanced so that they take place throughout the school year. The administration may waive the right to observe teachers who are rated “skilled” or “accomplished”.
c. The administration may conduct up to two (2) walkthroughs as part of a teacher’s formative assessment. Walkthroughs will not last longer than fifteen (15) minutes.
d. Teachers will receive a post-evaluation conference no later than five (5) work days after the formal observation.
e. Any teacher who works in multiple buildings throughout the District shall be observed at least once in each building where he/she works; so long as this does not increase the total number of observations that teacher receives.
Schedule of Evaluation. 1. A minimum of two (2) formal observations shall be conducted to support each performance assessment/evaluation. A formal observation shall last a minimum of thirty (30) minutes. There shall be a minimum of three (3) weeks between formal observations. If after the second formal observation, a counselor’s performance is found deficient to the extent that adverse personnel action may result, a minimum of one (1) additional observation shall be conducted.
2. All formal observations may be preceded by a conference between the evaluator and the counselor prior to the observation in order for the counselor to explain plans and objects for the classroom situation to be observed.
3. A post observation conference shall be held after each formal observation and shall be used to inform the counselor if observed practices are aligned with the expectations identified in the Ohio Standards for School Counselors as defined in School Counselor Evaluation Rubric.
4. A walkthrough is a formative written assessment piece that focuses on any of the following components:
A. Development, preventative, response and alignment of counseling plan.
