Search and Confiscation. EF Academy retains the right to conduct a search upon reasonable belief that a student is in possession of any materials that are in violation of school rules and/or the law. A student who refuses to cooperate is subject to the same procedures and discipline as a student who has been found to possess such materials. – EF Academy may search students, their dorm rooms, and their possessions without their consent or without their presence if a member of staff has reasonable grounds for suspecting that the student is in possession of any prohibited items listed above. – When possible, a search of a student’s room will be undertaken by designated staff members nominated by the Head of School. All confiscated items will become the property of EF Academy if there are reasonable grounds for suspecting that the item: poses a risk to staff or pupils; is prohibited, or identified in the school rules for which a search can be made; or is evidence in relation to an offence. and will not be returned to the student or parents/guardians.

Fire Protection:‌ – In the event of a fire alarm, all students MUST immediately exit the building through the nearest emergency exit and proceed to the designated gathering area. Students who intentionally disobey these rules and elect to ignore the fire alarm will be subject to disciplinary sanctions. – Students must never hang things on or tamper with fire protection devices, such as sprinkler heads, smoke detectors, and fire strobes. Students will be responsible for personal property damage if they disobey these rules and set off sprinkler heads. Students found tampering with any fire protection or other fire safety device could be subject to a fine and disciplinary sanctions. – Boarding Students are not allowed to have or lease a car, motorbike, or moped on school premises, or drive a vehicle while off campus. – Day students who are licensed to drive in the State of California may apply for permission to drive on campus and to park in designated spots. Requests will be reviewed and approved at the sole discretion of the Senior Leadership Team. Students are prohibited from driving other students in their vehicles.   • Vulnerability Management BNY Mellon will maintain a documented process to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities affecting its systems used to provide the services. BNY Mellon will classify security vulnerabilities using industry recognized standards and conduct continuous monitoring and testing of its networks, hardware and software including regular penetration testing and ethical hack assessments.   • Virus Management DST shall maintain a malware protection program designed to deter malware infections, detect the presence of malware within DST environment.

  • Environmental and Social Safeguards (a) The Borrower, through PMD, shall ensure that each Sub-Project is prepared, implemented and monitored in accordance with the Implementation Guidelines for Social and Environmental Safeguards, which form a supplement to the Operations Manual, and all guidelines and checklists set out therein, including those specifically provided for Indigenous Peoples and land donation, and the Negative List. (b) In the event of any conflict between the provisions of the Implementation Guidelines for Social and Environmental Safeguards and those of this Agreement, the latter shall prevail. 2. The Borrower, through PMD, shall apply the section of the Implementation Guidelines for Social and Environmental Safeguards in each Sub-Project that may affect Indigenous Peoples, in a manner to ensure that the Sub-Project shall: (a) avoid, and, if not possible, minimize cultural, social and economic adverse effects on Indigenous Peoples, caused or likely to be caused by the Project, by taking appropriate mitigating measures; and (b) through a process of free, prior and informed participation, involve concerned Indigenous Peoples in the design and implementation of Sub- projects in which such people reside or make their living and design and implement measures so as to ensure that the benefits received by the Indigenous Peoples under the Project are in harmony with their economic, social and cultural preferences, and likely to protect their customary user rights and reduce, mitigate and offset any adverse impacts of Sub-projects. 3. The Borrower, through PMD, shall ensure that the proceeds of Kecamatan Grants shall not be used to finance the acquisition of land or compensation for involuntary resettlement and that no Sub-Project shall require or permit the involuntary acquisition of land or involuntary resettlement. The Borrower, through PMD, shall ensure that in any Sub-Project involving land donation, the planning and verification procedures for land donation (voluntary donation and donation with compensation) set out in the Implementation Guidelines for Social and Environmental Safeguards shall have been followed and documented in a manner satisfactory to the Bank and PMD prior to the commencement of the Sub-Project. 4. The Borrower shall ensure that the proceeds of the Loan are not used to finance any activities or materials on the Negative List as set out in Section A.2 of Annex 1 to this Schedule 2. 5. Without limiting the obligations under Section II.A of this Schedule 2, the Borrower shall include in each Project Report: (a) information on the status of compliance with the Implementation Guidelines for Social and Environmental Safeguards; (b) details of measures taken for each Sub-Project in the implementation of such guidelines; (c) conditions, if any, in any Sub-Project which interfere or threaten to interfere with the implementation of such guidelines; and (d) remedial measures taken or required to be taken to address such conditions.

  • Onboarding The parties acknowledge that the City provides a new employee orientation (onboarding) to each new employee hired by the City. As such, the Union will be provided with not less than 10 calendar days’ advanced notice of the time, date, and location of the onboarding of any new employee represented by the Union. The Union will be given 30- minutes at the start of the new employee onboarding in a room designated by the City for no more than one (1) representative to present Union membership information. The City representative will excuse him or herself during the Union portion of the onboarding. The Union agrees in its portion of the onboarding not to engage in speech that could cause disruption or material interference with City activities. The City will provide 30 minutes of Union Release Time to the Union representative presenting the Union membership information during the scheduled onboarding. The Union shall provide the Union representative’s immediate supervisor with the Union representative’s name at least five (5) days prior to the onboarding. The Union representative shall be released for this purpose unless unusual operation needs interfere with such release in which case the Union representative’s immediate supervisor will provide a written explanation of why release could not be approved. If the Union representative is not released due to department operational needs, the Union representative may arrange an alternative date and time to meet with the newly hired employee within the first two (2) weeks of employment, subject to the 30-minutes onboarding and Union Release Time requirements as stipulated above.
