Shifts and Starting Times. All employees will be assigned starting times and shifts as determined by the School District. Employees will be guaranteed a minimum of two hours for each shift for which they report to work.

The School District will supply each employee with a list by the end of September each year itemizing the following: * Hourly wage * Number of work days in the school year * Hours per day * Current vacation time accrued and expected to accrue in the upcoming school year * Sick days accrued and expected to accrue in the upcoming school year * Personal days accrued and expected to accrue in the upcoming school year If it is necessary to implement permanent changes in work schedules, the School District will notify affected employees at least five (5) calendar days prior to implementation, except in cases of emergency. Notification of any temporary schedule change required of an employee shall occur as soon as possible, and in no case less than 48 hours in advance, except in instances of an emergency or extenuating circumstances. All additional work assignments shall occur on a voluntary and/or rotating basis. An employee will be offered additional work hours and shifts preference by seniority. Any additional work assignment shall not change the employee’s regular work schedule. Should no member volunteer, the employer may mandate each overtime assignment based upon a rotation, starting with the least senior individual.

  • Starting Time is the time that employees present themselves at their work- station and not the time that employees are in the amenities or in the car park.
