TRANSPORTATION and MEALS. 18.01 Where an employee is requested by the Employer to use their personal vehicle for job-related purposes, the Employer will pay the employee mileage at the Yukon Territorial Government rate.
18.02 No employee shall be required, as a condition of employment, to own a vehicle or have access to one.
18.03 The Employer may require, as a condition of employment, that an employee holding a certain position maintain a valid driver's licence.
18.04 Where an employee's shift starts or ends at a time when the Whitehorse bus system is not running, and the employee has no means of transportation, the Employer will contribute $10.00 towards the cost of a taxi fare to or from work for the employee.
18.05 Where an employee is required to travel for work-related purposes, the Employer will pay the employee a meal and incidental allowance at the Yukon Territorial Government rate.
18.06 Meals provided at the workplace to clients are also available to employees on duty without cost to the employee.
TRANSPORTATION and MEALS. 19.01 Where an employee is required by the Employer to use their personal vehicle, the Employer will pay mileage at the rate of $0.57 per kilometer such to be adjusted annually as per the Yukon Government Travel Policy.
19.02 Where the employee is not required, but is willing to use their personal vehicle for job-related purposes, and is authorized in advance by the Employer, the employee will be reimbursed upon request at the rate of $.12 per kilometer, subject to a maximum of $30.00 per month.
19.03 No employee shall be required, as a condition of employment, to own a vehicle or have access to one.
19.04 The Employer may require, as a condition of employment, that an employee holding a certain position maintain a valid driver’s licence.
19.05 The Employer will make a reasonable effort to provide the employee with a meal break as near as possible to the middle of their shift.
19.06 If 19.05 cannot be met due to operational requirements, the Employer will provide time in lieu for a meal break during the same day. The Employer and the employee may mutually agree that the time in lieu may be taken on another working day. Such time is not overtime for the purposes of Article 18.
TRANSPORTATION and MEALS. (a) Where an employee is requested by the Employer to use her/his personal vehicle for job-related purposes, the Employer will pay her/his mileage at the current SGEU/PSC Collective Agreement rates.
(b) No employee shall be required, as a condition of employment, to own a vehicle or have access to one.
(c) Time spent in Employer requested travel shall be considered time worked.
(d) Where an employee is required to travel beyond the Moose Jaw city limits for job related purposes and where accommodations and/or meals are not provided, the Employer will pay for meals and accommodations in accordance with the SGEU/PSC Collective Agreement rates.
(e) Employees who are on duty, may purchase food items from the Corporation at 50 percent (50%) of regular menu cost. This discount will not be applicable to promotional items.
(f) The Employer shall provide transportation, for Food and Beverage Servers and Bartenders (Sask Minimum Wage Board Order), whose shift ends after (12) midnight.
TRANSPORTATION and MEALS. 26.01 Transportation and meal allowance, when applicable, shall be paid on the following basis:
a) Transportation: up to $1 per litre 0.45 More than $1 and up to $1.20 0.50 More than $1.20 0.60 The cost of travelling outside the district of Cochrane shall not exceed thecost of an economy class flight.
b) Meals: Breakfast: $18.00 Lunch: $23.00 Supper: $38.00
c) In addition to the above an employee shall receive $8.00 per occurrence if an employee is required to use their vehicle for agency services - within town limits.

The wage schedule covering all employees occupying positions shall be set out in Schedule "A", forming part of this agreement. Employees shall receive equal pay for work of equal value. The employer shall pay wages in accordance with Schedule "A" I on every other Wednesday In the event of a payday falling on a designated holiday, the payday will be the last banking day before the holiday. Every employee shall receive a statement attached to each cheque showing the gross amount earned, itemized deductions, net amount payable and hours worked. Upon request to the Executive Director and subject to seven (7) calendar day's notice, paycheques shall be provided prior to a vacation period. At the employer's discretion and upon reasonable notice, a pay advance based on hours worked and related leave with pay may be granted in extenuating circumstances such as family emergencies. Such requests shall be made in writing to the Executive Director. Each employee is responsible for completing her own pay sheet clearly time worked, leave taken, and leave or overtime earned, on the day prior to payday. All absences for personal reasons during a scheduled shift (for all or part of a work day) must be reported to the employer and recorded on the employee's pay sheet.
