Dues Withholding. SECTION 1. Employees who are members of the Union are permitted to pay dues through the authorization of voluntary allotments from their compensation. This article covers all employees:
Dues Withholding. A. The Agency will maintain a system for voluntary allotments by employees in the unit for the purpose of paying dues to the Union.
Dues Withholding. Section 1. The EMPLOYER will deduct UNION dues (the regular, periodic amounts required to maintain an employee in good standing with the UNION) from an employee's pay each payroll period when the following conditions have been met:
Dues Withholding. The Company agrees to withhold from the wages of each employee working over twenty-four (24) hours or more in any calendar month, and pay to the Union, all initiation fees and dues required by the Union. The Company will deduct such dues in equal amounts each paycheck, and immediately forward the amount with a digital spreadsheet of a list of employees’ names and the addresses and deductions of each to the Union. In addition, quarterly, the Company will also provide the Union with Name, Address and Worksite. The Union will notify the Company in advance of any changes in dues, in writing. The Union agrees to indemnify and save harmless the Company from any and all liabilities it may suffer as a result of agreeing to be bound by Article 3, including court costs and reasonable attorneys’ fees.
Dues Withholding. 7.1 Members of the bargaining unit are authorized to effect a voluntary allotment for the payment of dues to the Union subject to the provisions outlined in the Memorandum of Understanding between the American Foreign Service Association and the U. S. Department of Agriculture dated July 20, 1994. A copy of the Memorandum of Understanding is in Appendix 3.

Dues Withholding. Section 1 - Eligibility - Bargaining Unit Employees Any bargaining unit employee may have dues deducted through payroll deductions. Such deductions will be discontinued only when the employee leaves the unit of recognition, ceases to be a member in good standing of AFGE, or submits a timely revocation form under the procedures of this article.
Dues Withholding. In order to initiate Union dues withholding by payroll deduction, a bargaining unit employee must complete a Standard Form (SF) 1187, “Request For Payroll Deductions For Labor Organization Dues”. The SF-1187 can be obtained from either the Union or the Administrative Officer. The employee must complete the appropriate spaces, sign it, and submit it to the Union. The Union shall complete its portion of the form before submitting it to the Administrative Officer. This official shall provide a receipt copy to the employee, indicating the pay period in which the deduction is to be effective, i.e., the employee’s anniversary date.
Dues Withholding. Section 1. The Employer agrees to deduct Union dues from an employee’s wages uniformly and lawfully levied by NATCA and to remit same to NATCA on a monthly basis, not later than the end of the month following the month in which they are withheld, provided that the employee executes the dues withholding form provided by the Union.
