Administrative Evaluation. It is the intent of the SCD administration to conduct evaluations of non-priority- hire faculty as early as possible in a faculty member's employment in an SCD instructional unit. Administrative evaluation should occur before the beginning of the fifth quarter within the nine (9) out of twelve (12) quarter sequence outlined in Article 10.7.a.

Administrative Evaluation. 6.2 The Board shall complete an official administrative evaluation of each regular (tenured) and contract faculty employee at least once every three academic years. Each temporary faculty employee and part-time faculty employee, if employed by the District for three quarters, whether or not successive, shall be evaluated at least once during that period. Part-time faculty employees, if employed thereafter, shall be evaluated at least once every nine quarters of employment. 6.2.1 An official administrative evaluation shall review not only the faculty employee’s performance in the classroom or service area, but all of their contractual obligations. The purpose of an official administrative evaluation is to: 6.2.1.1 Recognize and encourage outstanding performance; 6.2.1.2 Improve satisfactory performance and further the growth of employees who are performing satisfactorily; 6.2.1.3 Identify areas which might need improvement and provide useful feedback for consideration; and 6.2.1.4 Identify and document unsatisfactory performance and offer assistance in achieving the required improvement. 6.2.2 The official administrative evaluation of a regular or contract faculty employee shall be performed by an educational administrator as defined in 1.1.4.1 and shall not be delegated to any faculty employee. 6.2.3 The official administrative evaluation of a part-time faculty employee may be delegated to a regular or contract or Article 19 faculty employee as provided in Article 7.10. The part-time faculty employee shall be notified, in advance, by the appropriate administrator, that a faculty member shall be acting as their designee. Each faculty employee designated to conduct an official evaluation shall receive compensation pursuant to Article 25. The faculty designee performing the official administrative evaluation of a part-time faculty employee shall not also perform the student evaluation of that employee. 6.2.4 The official administrative evaluation of a faculty employee shall be performed in accordance with the procedures specified below: 6.2.4.1 The administrator or designee shall notify the faculty member in advance of the evaluation visit; 6.2.4.2 The official administrative evaluation of a faculty employee shall be recorded on the administrative evaluation form contained in Appendix J1, or as modified according to Section 6.5; Prior to a J1 evaluation, the faculty member and evaluator shall have a pre-evaluation meeting in which the faculty member is given ...
Administrative Evaluation. The administrative member of the evaluation team will make one or more class visits and/or observation(s) appropriate to the faculty role which will be reviewed with the faculty member in a timely manner.
Administrative Evaluation. Each year an evaluation meeting will be held with the department chairperson and his/her division xxxx or immediate administrator at which time information will be presented regarding the results of the self-evaluation process including the agreed-upon goals and objectives. This form will also be available on the Xxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxxxxxxx Xxxxxxx Xxxxxxxx website. 9.4.2 The Immediate Management Supervisor or designee shall conduct a classroom/worksite observation which shall be scheduled subsequent to the first quarter and prior to the last eighth of the term. 9.4.2.1 At least fourteen (14) calendar days prior to observation, the Immediate Management Supervisor or designee will provide the Unit Member with notification of not more than three alternate dates and approximate times during which the classroom/worksite observation may be conducted. 9.4.2.2 A designee who conducts a classroom/worksite observation may be any of the following: another academic administrator; a management program assistant; a full-time faculty member; and adjunct faculty member; a professional expert with teaching experience. 9.4.3 At least fourteen (14) calendar days in advance, the Immediate Management Supervisor or designee will provide the Unit Member with notification of the dates, classes or other circumstances during which student evaluations will be administered. 9.4.3.1 The Unit Member shall leave the classroom prior to the administration of the student evaluations (Appendixes B-4 through B-6). 9.4.3.2 The student evaluation forms (or other raw data) shall be retained by the Immediate Management Supervisor until the final grades have been posted, after which time they shall be provided to the Unit Member, if requested by the Unit Member within ninety calendar days of the last instructional day of the term for which the Unit Member was evaluated. 9.4.4 Evaluations shall use t...

Administrative Evaluation. The faculty member will meet with the division xxxx or designee by the end of week 14 of the spring semester of the third year. During the evaluation meeting, the division xxxx will comment on the summary report and appropriate performance expectations and will review the administrative evaluation prepared from the submitted evaluation documents. The combined documents (self-evaluation reports from each of the two years, the yearly reports of supplemental hours from the previous three years, the summary evaluation prepared in year three, and the administrative evaluation) constitute a complete evaluation report. One copy shall be placed in the faculty member’s personnel file and the faculty member shall retain one copy.

Administrative Evaluation. The VPI is encouraged to conduct a simultaneous Administrative Evaluation of Contract I and Contract II evaluatees, in accordance with the process timeline. The administrative evaluation process for each academic year will be given to the Academic Senate Second Vice President at least one week before the beginning of each fall semester, to be included with orientation materials. Nothing precludes the VPI from subsequent Administrative Evaluations in cases in which the evaluatee is believed to not be fulfilling his/her professional responsibilities.
