Association Grievance Representatives. These representatives shall be selected by the Association to assist in the processing of grievances under the following conditions: a. The representatives will notify their Immediate Supervisor as early as possible that they will need to leave their work area to represent an employee in a grievance. b. If the representative’s Immediate Supervisor determines an adequate level of service cannot be maintained in the absence of the representative, the Association shall be permitted to designate another representative to be released or the meeting may be rescheduled within a reasonable amount of time. c. Upon arrival the representative will advise the supervisor of the grievant and any employee immediately concerned. The parties’ goal will be to achieve settlement of the grievance.

Association Grievance Representatives. 13 The Association grievance representative shall be recognized by the employer and the supervisory 14 representatives in all of the employer's buildings and facilities. 15 16 Association grievance representatives shall have the right to present grievance to the employer or 17 designated representative within the grievance representative's jurisdiction. 18 19 Section 4. Association Exclusivity 20 21 Throughout this agreement certain rights and functions are accorded and ascribed to the Association 22 which are in addition to the rights and functions provided for in the rules, regulations, policies, 23 resolutions and practices of the District. These rights and functions are afforded to the Association as 24 the bargaining unit representative for all employees covered under this agreement. 25
Association Grievance Representatives. The Association shall designate to the District on or before the last workday of September of each work year, an employee(s) from each building who shall be certified to the District as the authorized grievance representative(s) for all grievance matters at such building. Association officers shall also be designated in writing to the District at such time.

Association grievance representatives shall have the right to attend meetings with the Association Labor Relations Committee to process grievances. 6. Association grievance representatives shall suffer no loss of pay when it becomes necessary for them to serve as a subpoenaed witness in an arbitration case, employment relations commission proceeding, or any other such proceeding where their testimony is required or needed. If the District is found not to have violated the provisions in this Agreement, which had been in question, the Association will financial reimburse the District for the grievance representatives' substitutes' pay.
Association Grievance Representatives. (A) The Employer hereby agrees to recognize the Association's President and, as an alternate for the President, the Association's Vice-President, each of whom shall have at least one (1) year's seniority, to act as grievance representatives under this Agreement. The Vice-President may exercise the functions of the President under this Agreement only if the President is absent. It shall be the function of such individuals to act in a representative capacity for the purpose of processing and investigating grievances for employees covered by this Agreement. (B) The Association agrees that the President and Vice-President will continue to perform their regularly assigned duties and that their responsibilities as Association representatives will not be used to avoid those duties. They shall act in a manner which will not disrupt nor interfere with the normal functions of the Prosecutor's Office. If it is necessary for the President or Vice- President to temporarily leave their assignment to process a grievance, the Employee shall first request permission of their immediate supervisor. In the event it is necessary for either representative to remain on the job after a request to handle a grievance is made, the Employee shall be relieved to perform the representative duties as quickly thereafter as possible; both parties to this Agreement recognize a rule of reason must apply in this regard. (C) The President and Vice-President shall, upon request, record all time spent performing their functions under this Agreement on a form designated by the Prosecutor and shall, upon request, report to their immediate supervisor upon return to their regularly assigned duties.

Part B. With written consent of the employee concerned, the Association grievance representatives shall have access to any and all of that employee’s files necessary to process grievances in compliance with grievance procedure. Part C. When it will not interfere with normal duties or workday, the Association grievance representative shall have access to all employees he/she represents.

  • Grievance Representatives Within 30 working days after the execution of this Agreement, the Union shall furnish the Xxxxxxx with a list of all persons authorized to act as the Chapter and UPI Local Grievance Representatives and shall update the list as changes occur. The designated Chapter Grievance Representative shall be an employee of the University and shall have the responsibility to meet classes, office hours, and other assigned duties and responsibilities. If the responsibilities of the Chapter Grievance Representative require rescheduling of the representative's University duties, the representative may, with the approval of the Xxxxxxx, arrange for the rescheduling of such duties or their coverage by colleagues. Such approval shall not be unreasonably withheld. The provisions of Article 15.4. shall also apply to the UPI Local Grievance Representative if he or she is an employee of the University.

  • Association Representatives Authorized representatives of the Association shall be permitted to transact Association business on and with school property at all reasonable times provided that such activities shall not interfere with normal school operations.

  • Nurse Representatives The Employer agrees to recognize two (2) Nurse Representatives for the purpose of dealing with grievances and conducting Union interviews.

  • Association Grievance A grievance, as defined in Section 7.1, relating to occurrences actually involving at least three (3) nurses or arising under the Association Representative article, may be initiated by the Association at Step 2 of the above-mentioned procedure by the filing of a written grievance, signed by a representative of the Association, within 35 calendar days from the date of occurrence.   • Nurse Representatives & Grievance Committee (a) The Hospital agrees to recognize Association representatives to be elected or appointed from amongst nurses in the bargaining unit for the purpose of dealing with Association business as provided in this Collective Agreement. The number of representatives and the areas which they represent are set out in the Appendix of Local Provisions. (b) The Hospital will recognize a Grievance Committee, one of whom shall be chair. This committee shall operate and conduct itself in accordance with the provisions of the Collective Agreement and the number of nurses on the Grievance Committee is set out in the Appendix of Local Provisions. (c) It is agreed that Union representatives and members of the Grievance Committee have their regular duties and responsibilities to perform for the Hospital and shall not leave their regular duties without first obtaining permission from their immediate supervisor. Such permission shall not be unreasonably withheld. If, in the performance of their duties, a union representative or member of the Grievance Committee is required to enter a unit within the hospital in which they are not ordinarily employed they shall, immediately upon entering such unit, report their presence to the supervisor or nurse in charge, as the case may be. When resuming their regular duties and responsibilities, such representatives shall again report to their immediate supervisor. The Hospital agrees to pay for all time spent during their regular hours by such representatives hereunder.

  • Staff Representatives A. The Union will provide the Employer with a written list of staff representatives and the bargaining unit for which they are responsible. The Union will provide written notice to the Employer of any changes within thirty (30) calendar days of the changes. B. Staff representatives may have access to the Employer’s offices or facilities to carry out representational activities. The representatives will notify the Employer prior to their arrival and will not interrupt the normal operations of the Employer. The staff representative may meet with bargaining unit employees in non-work areas during the employee’s meal periods, rest periods, and before and after the employee’s shift. C. The Employer’s written Board of Trustee or administrative policies pertaining to employees represented by the Union will be made available to staff representatives.

  • Contract Representatives The following will act as the representative authorized to administer activities under this Grant Agreement on behalf of their respective Party.

  • Union Representatives Upon mutual agreement of the parties, the number may be altered from time to time. Where a Union Representative commences on an extended leave of absence, the Union will endeavour to find a temporary replacement for the Union Representative from within the Home.
