Representative Duties. During scheduled working time, the representative duties of the Association’s employee representatives shall be limited to:
1. Participation in representative activities described in Disciplinary Action;
2. Presentation of grievances to designated management representatives under the Grievance Procedure in this Agreement (this does not include investigatory meetings or activities, which shall not occur during work time);
3. Participation in Special Conferences under this Agreement;
4. Participation in labor contract negotiation meetings with authorized management representatives.
5. Participation in scheduled meetings between the College President and College labor leaders (presidents);
6. Participation in scheduled Health Care Task Force or Labor Coalition meetings with authorized management representatives Association representatives shall continue to perform their regularly assigned duties as required, and their responsibilities as Association representatives will not be permitted to interfere with those duties or with the normal business of the Employer. If it is necessary for an Association representative to temporarily leave his/her assignment to engage in representative duties, permission must first be requested of the immediate supervisor. Such permission shall not be unreasonably denied. The Association representative shall report to the supervisor upon returning to regularly assigned duties. The Association representative shall record all time spent performing representative duties under this Section on the Employer’s regular time reporting system. One participating employee representative of the Association (up to five participating representatives in labor contract negotiations) shall be paid at his/her regular rate for reasonable amounts of time necessarily lost from his/her regularly scheduled working hours while performing the representative duties described in Subsections one through four of this Section. Under no circumstances shall the Employer be required to pay more than a total of forty hours pay under Subsections one and two of this Section during any fiscal year, or a total of one hundred twenty hours pay under Subsection four for the negotiation of any new collective bargaining agreement. Representative Duties. An employee who, without direct supervision, performs installation, testing, repair and maintenance on compressor station equipment, pipeline facilities, metering and regulating equipment, communication systems and other facilities appurtenant to the pipeline system. They perform routine and major maintenance on gas turbines packages, gas compressor units and associated auxiliary equipment. They are competent in rigging, interpreting technical reference documents and the use of precision measuring tools. The Multi-Skilled Technician will also perform service and repair to mechanical measurement or control equipment such as meters regulators and valves. Their responsibilities will include power electricity, (including hazardous area equipment) process controls, programmable logic controllers (PLC), electric generation equipment, microwave multiplex equipment. Also, the Multi-Skilled Technician must be able to climb and work on the upper part of compressor buildings inside and outside. The Multi-Skilled Technician will be required to work closely with others and perform additional duties as assigned. Some of these duties will include administrative, clerical, and warehousing activities of the district. They may perform these functions apart from the crew either alone or with multiple employees engaged in a related activity.

Representative Duties. 7.1 Representative covenants and agrees that, at all times during the Term it shall:
7.1.1 subject to Section 3 hereof, devote such time as it reasonably determines may be necessary to sell and promote the Products within the Territory through direct solicitation of Designated Customers or other methods designed to expand the market for the Products;
7.1.2 introduce executives of the Company to representatives of Designated Customers who have the corporate authority to negotiate a Purchase Order with the Company;
7.1.3 conduct all of its business in its own name and, subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, in such manner as it may see fit;
7.1.4 supply the Company with periodic written reports of sales and other marketing data reasonably requested by the Company relating to the marketing, distribution and sale of the Products, including, without limitation, the name and address of all Designated Customers and potential customers that Representative has contacted, and the dates and results of such contacts;
7.1.5 perform all of its obligations under this Agreement in a manner consistent with all applicable laws and regulations and with the principles of good conduct and business ethics, in order to protect and enhance the name of the Company, the reputation of the Products, and the goodwill attached to the trade name and any trademarks in use or hereafter adopted or used by the Company;
7.1.6 observe and comply in all material respects with all laws and regulations of all governmental authorities with jurisdiction over the Representative or over the marketing, distribution or sale of the Products;
7.1.7 abide by the Company's policies of which it has been made aware in writing and communicate the same to Designated Customers;
7.1.8 assist the Company in establishing and maintaining a good business relationship with Designated Customers; and
7.1.9 promptly advise the Company of (i) any changes in status, organization, personnel and similar matters with respect to Representative, and (ii) any complaints or claims brought or threatened against Representative with respect to its actions as Representative hereunder, the marketing, promotion or sale of the Products or any alleged defect in any Products.
7.2 Representative covenants and agrees that, at all times during the Term it shall not, without the prior written consent of the Company:

Representative Duties. Civil Engineer is a multi-incumbent professional engineering class in the Public Works Engineering. Assignments are primarily project oriented, broad in scope and require the use of considerable judgement and initiative. Civil Engineer is differentiated from the lower level of Associate Engineer by the Civil Engineer’s broader scope of responsibility, difficulty and complexity of projects assigned requiring substantial knowledge of engineering tasks related to public works design and construction administration. In addition, a Civil Engineer provides technical, functional supervision to staff assigned and provide administrative assistance as needed. Prepares designs and plans for public works improvements such as street paving, curbs and gutters, sewers, storm drains; other facility improvement with minimal supervision; prepares drawings, charts, maps and diagrams, engineering cost estimates, conduct circulation, flow, accident and other traffic studies; assist in determining design of traffic layouts; coordinates and performs inspections on construction projects, engineering surveys and special studies; provides engineering information to contractors at all phases of construction, engineers and members of the public; attends and participates in meetings as requested; performs field surveys and may act as survey party chief; determines that all calculations submitted are correct and that engineering design work conforms to the city specifications; writes legal descriptions for annexations, streets, alleys, leases, easements and City property acquisitions and prepares necessary maps; assists Division Manager or lead in preparation and maintenance of records and preparation of State and County reports; answers public inquiries and complaints; development in policy or standard; may coordinate assignments of professional staff. Representative Duties. The Union agrees that the representational responsibilities of a Union officer will not be permitted to interfere with the employee’s regularly assigned duties or with normal business of the Employer. If it is necessary for an employee to temporarily leave his/her assignment to participate in negotiations or a grievance meeting, he/she shall first provide reasonable notice to and obtain authorization, which shall not be unreasonably denied, from his/her immediate supervisor before leaving a work assignment. The employee shall return to his/her job as promptly as possible and upon such return shall immediately report to his/her immediate supervisor.
Representative Duties. Provides service and guidance for escalated technical issues. Researches complex problems associated with Orange County voice and data networks. Coordinates with internal County support and operation groups and/or vendors to resolve problems. Assists in developing, updating, and maintaining Service Center procedures and knowledge base.
