ASSOCIATION PRESIDENT RELEASED TIME. The Association President shall have one (1) hour of paid release time during the student day to work on District/Association business. As required by State law, the Association shall reimburse the full MPSERS retirement cost paid by the District on behalf of the teacher for the release time. The payment shall be made no later than ten (10) days after the last school day for the year provided the invoice is issued by the District by June 1st.

ASSOCIATION PRESIDENT RELEASED TIME. The President of the Association shall be released from his/her duties for one- half (1/2) day every week during the work year, with scheduling to be agreed upon between the Association President and the Superintendent or designee. If there is more than one Association President, the one-half day per week shall be shared between them. He/She/They shall be considered an employee of the District with respect to eligibility for the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund, all fringe benefits, employment status, seniority and salary, without regard to such release time. Such release time shall be used for the mutual benefit of the parties as determined by the President of the Association.

S/he shall be considered a full-time employee of the District with respect to the Illinois State Teachers’ Retirement System/IMRF, all fringe benefits, tenure status and placement on the salary schedule. Upon return from leave at the beginning of the next school year, the President shall return to the exact assignment which he/she left if that position still exists. This will not preclude application to a vacancy for another position. B. Insurance Reimbursement The Association agrees to reimburse the District for the cost of providing the President's substitute medical and life insurance pursuant to the negotiated agreement.

ASSOCIATION PRESIDENT RELEASED TIME. Released time, of the equivalent of two days per week, without loss of pay or benefits, shall be provided to the Association President for the purpose of carrying out Association business. The expense of a substitute for time taken shall be borne by the Association. The District shall xxxx the Association monthly for the substitute expenses from the prior month. If, during the term of the agreement, the Association applies for and receives the NEA Local President’s Release Time Grant, the released time will convert to a leave of 40% with no loss of pay or benefits. A teacher will be hired to fill the 40% leave. The Association shall reimburse the District 40% of the salary at the BA, Step B cell on the salary schedule. The District shall xxxx the Association in four equal installments, billed in November, January, March and May. While being provided with released time under either scenario stated above, the Association President shall be considered a full time employee under the Collective Bargaining Agreement. At the conclusion of the leave, the President shall resume his/her regular workload and position. The building Principal and Association President shall work together to provide access to a working space with phone access for the purpose of fulfilling the duties of the presidency.

The President will coordinate the visits with the offices of the principals in order to facilitate the purpose of this visit. Visits that are made to solve special problems of teachers will be arranged in advance by notifying the office of the principal.

  • Leave, President, O.N.A Upon application in writing by the Association on behalf of the nurse to the Hospital, a leave of absence shall be granted to such nurse elected to the office of President of the Ontario Nurses' Association for a period of up to three (3) consecutive two (2) year terms. Notwithstanding Article 10.04, there shall be no loss of service or seniority for a nurse during such leave of absence. During such leave of absence, the nurse's salary and applicable benefits shall be maintained by the Hospital and the Association agrees to reimburse the Hospital in the amount of the full cost of such salary and applicable benefits. It is understood, however, that during such leave the nurse shall be deemed to be an employee of the Ontario Nurses' Association. The nurse agrees to notify the Hospital of her or his intention to return to work at least two (2) weeks prior to the date of such return.

  • Chief Operating Officer The Chief Operating Officer shall be responsible for managing the day to day operations of the Company and shall see to it that all orders of the Chief Executive Officer are carried into effect.

  • President and Chief Executive Officer The president shall be the chief executive officer of the Trust, unless the Board of Trustees designates the chairman as chief executive officer. The chief executive officer shall see that all orders and resolutions of the Board of Trustees are carried into effect. The chief executive officer shall also be the chief administrative officer of the Trust and shall perform such other duties and have such other powers as the Board of Trustees may from time to time prescribe.

  • Chairman and Secretary The Local Union shall select the Union representatives and the Chapter shall select the management representatives.

  • Hospital-Association Committee (a) There shall be a Hospital-Union Committee comprised of representatives of the Hospital, one of whom shall be the Chief Nursing Officer or designate and of the Union, one of whom shall be the Bargaining Unit President or designate. The number of representatives is set out in the Appendix of Local Provisions and the membership of the Committee may be expanded by mutual agreement. (b) The Committee shall meet every two (2) months unless otherwise agreed and as required under Article 8.01 (a) (iv). The duties of chair and secretary shall alternate between the parties. Where possible, agenda items will be exchanged in writing at least five (5) calendar days prior to the meeting. A record shall be maintained of matters referred to the Committee and the recommended disposition, if any, unless agreed to the contrary. Copies of the record shall be provided to Committee members. (c) The purpose of the Committee includes: i) promoting and providing effective and meaningful communication of information and ideas, including but not limited to workload measurement tools and the promotion of best practices. Such communication may include discussion of nursing workload measurement and patient acuity systems. The Hospital will provide, upon request, information on workload measurement systems applicable to nursing currently used by the Hospital, and evaluations completed by the Hospital of such systems. ii) reviewing professional responsibility complaints with a view to identifying trends and sharing organizational successes and solutions, making joint recommendations on matters of concern including the quality and quantity of nursing care and discussing the development and implementation of quality initiatives; iii) making joint recommendations to the Chief Nursing Officer on matters of concern regarding recurring workload issues including the development of staffing guidelines, the use of agency nurses and use of overtime; iv) dealing with complaints referred to it in accordance with the provisions of Article 8, Professional Responsibility; v) discussing and reviewing matters relating to orientation and in- service programs; vi) promote the creation of full-time positions for nurses, and discuss the effect of such changes on the employment status of the nurses. This may include the impact, if any, on part-time and full-time, job sharing and retention and recruitment. (d) The Hospital agrees to pay for time spent during regular working hours for representatives of the Union attending at such meetings. (e) Where a Committee representative designated by the Union attends Committee meetings outside of her or his regularly scheduled hours, she or he will be paid for all time spent in attendance at such meetings at her or his regular straight time hourly rate of pay. Such payment shall be limited to two (2) Committee representatives per meeting.
