College Consultative Committee. For the purposes of monitoring the implementation of this Agreement a College Consultative Committee consisting of Employer and Employee representatives will meet at least once a term. 2.2.1 The parties to this Agreement are committed to co-operation and consultation as part of the climate and culture of the College. The parties accept that, according to the authority and responsibility structure of the College, final decision making remains the prerogative of the Principal/Employer. The Principal/Employer, in coming to decisions, is committed to the process of consultation with Employees. 2.2.2 The College has in place a number of structures to facilitate consultation and to advise the Principal/Employer in decision making. These structures include: (a) regular meetings of staff, middle management and committees; (b) an Executive Committee of Senior Staff; (c) other committees or groups set up from time to time by the Principal for special purposes; and (d) various committees or officers appointed according to government regulation (e.g. Workplace Health and Safety). 2.2.3 The Employer will establish a College Consultative Committee as an important element in the consultative structure within the College to ensure all people affected have an opportunity to participate in the implementation and monitoring of the Agreement at the College level. 2.2.4 The overall purpose of the committee is to provide an environment for greater two-way communication and in doing so, establish a forum in which Employees are able to participate in the implementation of the Agreement. 2.2.5 The College Consultative Committee also provides management with the opportunity to utilise Employee knowledge and experience. All parties support the principles of co-operation and consultation and agree that effective consultation is dependent upon: (a) a commitment to participate; (b) commitment to the College’s established Mission, Philosophy and Aims; (c) co-operation and consultation prior to decisions being made; (d) effective communication processes within the College; (e) training; and (f) regular meetings.

The overall purpose of the Committee is to provide an environment for greater two-way communication and in doing so, establish a forum in which Employees are able to participate in the implementation of this Agreement. The Committee also provides the College with the opportunity to utilise employee knowledge and experience. 3.6 All Parties support the principles of co-operation and consultation and agree that effective consultation is dependent upon: (a) a commitment to participate; (b) co-operation and consultation prior to decisions being made; (c) effective communication process within the College; (d) professional development as it relates to the role on the Committee; and (e) meeting at least three times each year. A meeting shall be held by the end of each of terms 1, 2 and 3 with additional meetings by mutual agreement. All parties to the meetings shall be provided two (2) term weeksnotice of the meeting and the agenda for the meetings shall be agreed two (2) weeks prior to a meeting. 3.7 The Committee shall be made up of: (a) four (4) persons appointed by the College; and (b) four (4) elected Employee representatives nominated by the Employees, in the following categories: • one (1) member of the Teaching Staff from the Junior School; • one (1) member of the Teaching staff in the Senior School; • one (1) member from the School Offic...
College Consultative Committee. 2.4.1 The Parties to this Agreement are committed to co-operation and consultation as part of the culture of the College but accept that according to the authority and responsibility structure of the College, final decision making remains the prerogative of the Principal and the College. 2.4.2 The College has structures in place to facilitate consultation and to advise the Principal of Hills College in decision making. These structures include: (a) regular meetings of staff, middle management, and committees; (b) an executive committee of senior staff; (c) other committees or groups set up from time to time by the Principal for a special purpose (eg ICT Committee); (d) various committees or officers appointed according to government regulations (eg Workplace Health and Safety and Emergency Planning). 2.4.3 A College Consultative Committee specifically focused on the implementation and monitoring of this Agreement is an important consultative structure within the College. 2.4.4 The Parties agree to continue to have a College Consultative Committee whose responsibilities are to: (a) oversee the implementation of this Agreement by 30 April 2025, including planning for changes in work practices and organization necessary to support the operation of this Agreement; (b) provide an environment for greater two-way communication between Employees and Hills College; (c) act as one of the consultative mechanisms within the College; (d) monitor the success of this Agreement; (e) make recommendations to the Single Bargaining Unit about items to be included in the next Enterprise Agreement; (f) monitor the effectiveness of NCCD support requirements. 2.4.5 The College Consultative Committee will reflect the staffing structure of the College and should include: (a) the Principal and an additional two persons appointed by the College; and
College Consultative Committee. ‌ 8.1.1 Purpose of the College Consultative Committee (a) The Parties to this Agreement are committed to co-operation and consultation as part of the climate and culture of the College. (b) The Parties agree to form a Consultative Committee, with the intention to meet once per College term unless the Committee, by majority, agrees to meet more or less frequently. (c) The College Consultative Committee is established to implement, monitor and evaluate the Agreement at the College level. (d) The objectives of the Committee are: (i) to promote a co-operative approach to the implementation of the terms of the Agreement; (ii) to assist in the planning and necessary implementation of changes in work practices; and (iii) to provide a mechanism for employees to be involved in problem solving. (e) The parties accept that final decision making remains the prerogative of management of the College. (f) For the purposes of this clause, “terms of the Agreement” do not include matters relating to clauses 8.2 (Consultation) and 8.4 (Dispute Resolution Procedure) of this Agreement.

  • Joint Consultative Committee 45.1 The parties recognise the need for effective communication to improve the business/operational performance and working environment in agencies. 45.2 The parties acknowledge that decisions will continue to be made by the employer who is responsible and accountable to Government for the effective and efficient operation of the agency. 45.3 The parties agree that: (a) where the employer proposes to make changes likely to affect existing practices, working conditions or employment prospects of employees, the union and employees affected shall be notified by the employer as early as possible; (b) for the purposes of discussion the employer shall provide to the employees concerned relevant information about the changes, including the effect of the changes on employees, provided the employer shall not be required to disclose any information that is confidential; (c) in the context of discussions the union and employees are able to contribute to the decision making process; and (d) the Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) parties are to provide all reasonable and relevant information except confidential commercial, business or personal information, the release of which may seriously harm a party or individual. 45.4 Each agency will have a JCC comprising of the employer or their nominee, employer nominated representatives and union nominated representatives. 45.5 The JCC will convene within 28 days of a written request being received from either party. 45.6 The JCC will determine its own operating procedures. 45.7 JCCs will be a forum for consultation on issues such as: (a) development of workload management tools within the agency; (b) industrial issues; (c) fixed term and casual employment usage; (d) changes to work organisation and/or work practices occurring in the workplace; (e) agency implementation of recommendations from the ‘Functional Review of Government’; and (f) agency implementation of other aspects of this General Agreement. 45.8 Matters not resolved through the JCC can be referred to the provisions of clause 48 - Dispute Settlement Procedures.

  • Consultative Committee (a) To assist in creating a stable and co-operative environment for the project, a consultative committee has been established which shall operate in accordance with its charter. It is not the objective of parties to this clause that the committee would over-ride the function and responsibilities of management or unions.

  • Joint Consultation Committee 8.01 On the request of either party, the parties must meet at least once every four (4) months, for the purpose of discussing issues relating to the workplace that affect the parties or any employee bound by the Agreement. 8.02 The purpose of the consultation committee is to promote the cooperative resolution of workplace issues, to xxxxxx the development of work related skills and to promote workplace productivity, and to identify opportunities for improved patient care. 8.03 Up to two (2) employees who are members of the joint consultation committee shall be granted leave without loss of pay or receive straight time regular wages while attending meetings of the committee, up to a maximum of two (2) hours’ pay. 8.04 Pay for such meetings will be limited to two (2) hours and employees attending such meetings will not receive overtime wages.

  • Labour Management Committee (a) Where the parties mutually agree that there are matters of mutual concern and interest that would be beneficial if discussed at a Labour Management Committee Meeting during the term of this Agreement, the following shall apply. (b) An equal number of representatives of each party as mutually agreed shall meet at a time and place mutually satisfactory. A request for a meeting hereunder will be made in writing prior to the date proposed and accompanied by an agenda of matters proposed to be discussed, which shall not include matters that are properly the subject of grievance or negotiations for the amendment or renewal of this agreement. Any representative(s) attending such meetings during their regularly scheduled hours of work shall not lose regular earnings as a result of such attendance. (c) It is agreed that the topic of a rehabilitation program for drug and alcohol abuse is an appropriate topic for the Labour-Management Committee. It is also agreed that the topic of the utilization of full-time and part-time staff is an appropriate topic for the Labour-Management Committee. The committee shall have access to work schedules and job postings upon request. (d) It is understood that joint meetings with other Labour-Management Committees in the Hospital may be scheduled concerning issues of mutual interest if satisfactory to all concerned. (e) Where two or more agreements exist between a Hospital and CUPE the Committee may be a joint one representing employees under both agreements, unless otherwise agreed.

  • JOINT LABOUR MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE A Joint Labour Management Committee shall be established to attend to those matters which are of mutual interest. To ensure its effectiveness the Committee shall be separate and apart from the grievance procedure.

  • TRANSITION COMMITTEE A transition committee comprised of the employee representatives and the employer representatives, including the Crown, will be established by January 31, 2016 to address all matters that may arise in the creation of the Trust.

  • Union/Management Committee There shall be a union/management committee comprised of four (4) employee representatives appointed by the Union and four (4) employer representatives. The Committee's purpose is to provide and promote effective and meaningful communication of information and ideas and to make joint recommendations on matters of concern. Matters that are properly the subject of an individual grievance will not be discussed at this committee. The Committee will meet quarterly, unless agreed otherwise, at a time and place mutually agreed to provided there is business for their joint consideration. The parties will exchange agenda items at least one (1) week prior to the meeting. The parties further agree the Committee may meet at any time its members mutually agree a meeting should be held. The duties of the Chairperson will be shared by the parties. Copies of the minutes shall be provided to Committee members. The employer agrees to pay for time spent during regular working hours for representatives of the union attending such meetings. The parties may utilize video or teleconferencing services for the purposes of committee members attending committee meetings, where appropriate and available. Neither party can unreasonably deny an initiative to utilize video or teleconferencing services.

  • Training Committee The parties to this Agreement may form a Training Committee. The Training Committee will be constituted by equal numbers of Employer nominees and ETU employee representatives and have a charter which clearly states its role and responsibilities. It shall monitor the clauses of this Agreement which relate to training and ensure all employees have equal access to training.

  • Benefits Committee As per LOA#10, a benefits committee comprised of the employee representatives and the employer representatives, including the Crown, shall convene upon request to address all matters that may arise in the operation of the OSSTF ELHT.

  • LABOR MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE Section 1. In order to facilitate communication between labor and management, a Labor Management Committee consisting of the Department Head and/or his designated alternate, the Assistant Chief of Police and two (2) Team Managers, and three (3) representatives of the Lincoln Police Union, along with at least one (1) Team Representative, will make up the Labor Management Committee. The Department Head will designate management personnel and the Union shall select Union representatives. Members will serve at the pleasure of the Department Head or Union President, depending upon who the member represents. Members will serve and be replaced on a staggered system (approximately three (3) year limit) depending upon the schedule agreed upon by the Department Head and the Union President. Section 2. Each Team area will be represented by a member of any rank to serve as spokesperson for that area. They will meet at least one week prior to the monthly Labor Management Committee meeting to formulate the common areas of interest and to elect a spokesperson to present the items in writing to the Labor Management Committee. Payment for attending this meeting will be at the discretion of the Department Head. Spokesperson will be chosen on a rotating basis. Team representatives will be picked by a vote of the Team members that they are representing. Section 3. The Labor Management Committee may discuss any area of the Department, with limitation only on those areas already under agreement between the City and the Union. The agenda will be based on the problem areas brought to the attention of the Committee by the Team Representatives and on any area representative members of Labor Management feel need to be discussed. Topics for discussion will be posted on the Union bulletin board and disseminated to Labor Management Committee members at least one (1) week prior to the monthly meeting. Section 4. Membership is subject to change through attrition and elected office, however, a one (1) week notice must be given to the Committee to afford the new member(s) voting privileges. Section 5. Realizing that communication is the key element to the smooth operation of any organization, the Labor Management Committee will xxxxxx an element of cooperation and unity of organizational members, be they labor or management. Section 6. Meetings shall be held at least once per calendar month. Additional meetings may be scheduled by mutual agreement of the Committee and the Department Head. Section 7. A quorum shall consist of two (2) members from labor and two (2) members from management.
