Commitment to Safety. 1. The Employer agrees that it will provide a safe and healthy workplace and to correct any unsafe condition or safety or health hazard. 2. The Employer agrees to promptly investigate all hazards, unsafe conditions and accidents brought to its attention and to promptly remedy all hazards and unsafe conditions its investigation reveals. 3. The Employer will establish and publish a written policy setting out its guidelines for employees safety and store security. These guidelines shall make clear that no employee is required to take action in response to theft or security incidents which may endanger the safety of the employee.

Commitment to Safety. Bombardier Transportation seeks to promote the health and safety of our employees and to do everything possible to prevent occupational accidents and illnesses. It is therefore important that Supervisors understand how everyone contributes to a safe and healthy work environment. Supervisors must: • Set an example to other employees by following the established safety policies of the Site. • Ensure employees are aware of the hazards and dangers in the workplace and how to work safely. • Follow and conform to all current statutory requirements and workplace health and safety policies and procedures applicable to the Newark Site. • Ensure the appropriate type and level of training to enable employees to perform their work safely. • Make available to every employee appropriate equipment to ensure Health and Safety. • Maintain a vigilant and continuing interest in all Health and Safety matters relevant to both company and staff. • Immediately report any safety violation and accidents by complying with established Accident Reporting procedures and ensure that all required forms/paperwork is completed with the proper details. • Actively participate in the investigation of all safety accidents, violations and near misses that occur during the supervisors shift and assist in any other safety investigation, as required. • Maintain confidentiality during the investigation of an accident/incident to ensure employee’s reasonable expectation of privacy and so as not to compromise the investigation. • Always wear or use the protective equipment that is required for the task or location. • Report any hazard you find in the workplace to the appropriate person. • Supervisors must ensure they understand the safety requirements of the job prior to starting work, as outlined in the System Safety Program Plan (SSPP). If they are not comfortable that the task can be completed safely or have not been properly trained, they should notify the System Safety Manager and the Line Manager. A failure to comply with this Commitment to Safety will result in disciplinary action up to and including discharge.
Commitment to Safety. The Company and the Union recognize the utmost importance of health and safety at the Erie Plant. The Company and Union agree to work together during the term of the Agreement to provide and maintain a safe working environment for all employees working at the Erie Plant, to cultivate an environment of behavior-based safety, and to comply with all federal, state and local safety laws and regulations.
Commitment to Safety. I will comply at all times with all safe work and school practices implemented by the ETI, including but not limited to the following:  Screening. I consent to the ETI’s policy of checking my temperature at the start of each workday or school session. I will also comply with the ETI’s policy that requires employees and students to answer screening questions before entering the premises. I will use the available hand sanitizer upon entering the premises or immediately go to the sink and wash my hands with soap and water. I will inform the ETI if I have any of the symptoms of COVID-19 including, but not limited to, cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, fever, or chills. I will inform the ETI if I have had contact with a person known to be infected with COVID-19 within the last 14 days. Employees and students who have a fever or symptoms will not be allowed to work in the office or attend school until they have satisfied the criteria for return established by public health authorities and ETI’s policies. I will follow any state or international travel restrictions including, but not limited to, those that require self-quarantining or self-isolation under various conditions.
